    I purchased unit 134729 (5th wheel), and I'm missing the table pole, which is not mentioned as missing. Also, the RV had a severe soft spot, which was not mentioned. I never had this issue before. The description in the past was always on point, but not this time. I was told there's nothing they can do if something is missing or other damages, it's a chance you take

    Unfortunately we can't catch things like this that might be missing, that's why we ask to review all pictures. As far as a soft floor, we were unaware of this and didn't find any during our inspection. We always suggest before anyone bids, to view the unit if all possible and bid accordingly.

    Good afternoon,To clarify, we are an online auction and do not "sell" any units directly to a customer as in a retail environment. Every unit is described in detail as to it's overall condition including several pictures that depict damages, etc. Further, we strongly encourage bidders to view units in person. Several of our units are owned by insurance companies and we clearly state that they are sold as salvage. All bidders agree to our terms and conditions, which clearly states all units are sold as-is. In summary, your husband read the descriptions, viewed the pictures, placed bids (after agreeing to our terms and conditions with his initials) and won a few auctions. We do not have control of what he bids on.Thank you

    I’ve bought a cargo trailer and a side by side from CrankyApe. I’ve also hauled several other units into them for their auctions. I’m still using my purchases after years of use without any major issues. It helps to pay close attention to the ad, pictures and video if available. My personal experiences with management and staff in Minnesota, Indiana and Georgia have always been very positive and helpful. They’ve always gone above and beyond every time I’ve dealt with employees of CrankyApe.

    No matter what one says about their experiences with crankyape it is never crankyape's fault according to them. How many auction houses do not let the bidders see their bids in a portal after bidding? Is that normal? does Proxibid do it? Does Ebay do it? Does anyone else that is a major auction house have a system where one places a bid of any kind and there is no email acknowledgement or a place in the portal of that business where one can see their bid and the status of it? Many have posted online about how Crankyape leaves out clear..very clear damage or issues in their advertisement. My first buying experience was Unit 125285. See the note about the staining on the ceiling? In real life that means a combination of extreme smoke and the smell of a biohazard that made the unit uninhabitable without thousand and thousand of dollars of removing every soft item and discarding it with multiple professional grade chorine odor remover. My last experience was Unit 137383. I had placed 2 make an offer BIDS and two were rejected. I then sent a email via the crankyape website link on the listing and asked if it smelled and referred to my past experience. I received no response but took the risk to Make and Offer BID again. The popup window that acknowledges these bid popped up as usual and it was the normal your offer will be submitted to the seller. The auction ended at 2am the next day. I never received a rejection bid. My wife spent all day Sunday waiting to get the email that we won since no rejection ever came. I called the office and the rest goes down hill much quicker with the typical crankyape behavior of blaming everyone except themselves. I think, we must push for the State and Federal Government to investigate this business from top to bottom. It is not a normal functioning auction house. Soon, someone from crankyape will comment on this post...remember liars are never honest and watch what they come up with.

    Looks like there was some miscommunication with customer service.  They thought you had bid on the unit when it was live, rather than a make offer bid.  That said, your offers were rejected by the seller. There was a delay in response to your 8/24 offer because we were closed until 8/26, which we then rejected the offer.  We do apologize for not getting back to you about the odor question and I will handle that on our end.  We're always striving to improve and you have brought to our attention some items worth looking into.  Thank you.

    Valdosta location sucks. It always starts with the leadership always. Probably just the location, I cannot imagine with many locations that they all suck. This one is slow, rude, arrogant, racist, one guy named John seems high of himself.

    On more than one occasion, our titling department has reached out to ************ regarding this issue. We learned he had sold the vehicle (before receiving the title). All our documents were correct for ************* and he was advised that in order for us to proceed with title processing he needed to get a safety inspection. He was also given the option of us sending the title directly to him and he could get it transferred himself. For a third time and after this review was entered, we tried calling ************ again. The phone was disconnected.

    I have purchased 15 vehicles (1 RV, 5 cars, 9 motorcycles) since 2011, I read the description and visit to inspect. Bought 3 bikes that didn't start, I bid accordingly. All 3 were missing keys or key fobs and needed the vehicle battery replaced. Invest your time before your money. Reno, 2 Texas locations, corporate office in Minnesota, Michigan City and Valdosta. Every purchase went smoothly and I am currently a very happy camper!!! Thanks for everything from here in West Texas

    Terrible experience! Bought a boat they bought in TN then shipped to MN and sold to me in WI. This was misrepresented and I was told everything was in the jacket I would need to register it. FALSE! It took me almost a year to get it titled and registered. If you buy from them you NEED to do a thorough in person inspection! Never again!

    We did not buy it, it was brought to us to sell. This unit sold on 6/30/2021. As of today, 3/14/2024, almost 3 years later, I do not see any notes in our system that ************ reached out to us for assistance with his title issues and/or misrepresentation issues. We would've gladly addressed his issues/concerns head on and worked towards an amicable resolution.

    Terrible customer service from the corporate office. Local office here in Phoenix has been helpful but unfortunately their hands are tied as well. Purchased my item in the beginning of August still have not gotten the title. Continue to get the runaround from Minnesota and long story short, they missed, placed it and are in no hurry to correct there mistake. It is now almost mid November and I still have no way of towing my trailer without eights and an expired temporary tag. Very shady company steer Clear. Please do your homework and reach out to DOT. There are avenues that the consumer can take to deal with crooked dealerships.

    We acknowledge and apologize the title was sent to the wrong recipient in error. Once discovered, we diligently reached out to the business it was sent to via several emails and voicemails, of which we never received a response. Ultimately, we ordered a duplicate and it should arrive to Mr. E****** by 6:00 PM on 11/14/2023 per USPS Tracking. Lastly, we also acknowledge and apologize for lack of communication with Mr. E****** and have made internal changes as a result. Since 2001, we have processed thousands of titles and unfortunately mistakes do happen. There was never any ill intent in this case. We are not crooked or shady.
