      I pay nearly 300 monthly for Westlaw.I am having a technical issue with the ************* I spent nearly 1 hr conversing Westlaw to no avail It keeps bouncing me from one agent to the next.

      I attended a West Law seminar which offered a product trial. I signed for the subscription of which you are sending me the invoices. Soon after I became ill. Since then I have been hospitalized a few times and have continued to deteriorate. I have been bedridden since Mid-December. I wrote *** ********** about my situation, (see below), and discontinued use of the software before the free trial period ended and have not used it since.Sent Thu, Oct 31, 2024, 4:35PM to *** *** **********,I have a serious health issue that is going to impact me completing my contract with Thomson Reuters. My Urologist just scheduled a consultation to discuss treatment options following additional testing after a disturbing blood test result. If my treatment is too exhausting, I will be unable to bring in the income I need to make my subscription payments; so I have to cancel, or at least pause my subscription until further notice.Thank you for your help in getting this done for me.Sincerely,******* Nevertheless, I was billed and have been continually billed each month including lates fees for this subscription.       I am rejecting this response because: From my perspective, all *** received from the Westlaw reps *** dealt with is stiff-arming, stalling, and gaslighting. Obviously, I will continue to use the services we are paying for because it makes no sense to pay for them and not use them, and we cant stop paying without risking a lawsuit. However, I have informed Westlaw that we want nothing to do with them once our current contract expires. I have raised numerous issues that I believe would warrant revocation or amendment of the existing contract by most businesses acting in good faith even if they did not fully agree with our concerns, but Westlaw has taken the position that it would prefer to lose a customer and the associated goodwill rather than amend or revoke the contract. Westlaw is entitled to take that position, but I am certainly not satisfied with their efforts.

      We take all customer concerns seriously and have made multiple attempts to resolve this issue. We've provided all relevant information about their existing agreement and recently received an email from the customer stating that they will continue to use WL (Westlaw).  We remain open to discussing other mutually beneficial solutions to this situation.
