  I bought the best ******** that they offer. The are the biggest pieces of sht! I cannot believe that they are even in business. I can feel air leaking through every single double hung in the house. They had someone come out and replace the weather strip twice, or at least that's what they told me. No difference. I make sure to tell every person that asks me about windows how terrible they are. I build houses for a living, so I get asked alot about windows. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THEIR LIES! *** EAGLE ********* Every single review i confirms!GARBAGE

  The series 100 we ordered from HD has 4 visible screws poking out. This is an inferior product but it markets as a premium product. We suspect the screws should be installed in a concealed manner, not visible.Stay away from them, their customer service pushes the issue as something ********* has to fix. After two calls to their customer service department NOTHING has been resolved.

  If I could give them a -100 I would. ******** products are junk. We paid big money for their full view kladded ***************************** in a addition we added on to our house. Not one window held up & the full view door panel was replaced 3 times before we just removed it & replaced it with a door that cost 1/2 the amount of the ******** & is so much better. Their product is over priced junk. They will never sell us or any of our family any more of their garbage.

  Disappointed doesnt begin to describe the experience. Disgusted is more appropriate. My wife and I were both encouraged by a couple contractors to go with Andersen 100s for our new home build. I later found out that builders like this series due to their ease and speed of installation. Weve have had nothing but problems with these windows, sliders, and french doors since they were installed. Window operation is challenging and noisy (think 1970's aluminum windows). My wife cant even open a couple where she has to reach over our kitchen counters. Keep in mind, we dropped tens of thousands of $$$ on these things.The inside of our french doors have semi-solid black stain that looks like it was applied with tractor tires. The tech who brought new ones out wouldn't install them because they looked worse and had several gouges in them.Our sliders are horrendous. The handles and latches are flimsy and the latches don't catch unless you slam the doors and hold them tight against the casing. The slider in our master bedroom didnt have weather stripping between the fixed and sliding panels. The door would whistle as cold air blew into our bedroom and it sounded like we were sleeping with our windows open. I had to stuff pieces of foam between the panels to silence the noise, stop air from coming in, and heating or A/C from going out. The tech eventually came out to fix this, which worked for a couple months and now it has started happening again.The double sliders in our living room stick to the point where I struggle to open them (I'm a very fit person). My son can't even open one of them. Don't be fooled by the name. Andersen may have been a quality company at one point, but our experience is firsthand proof thats no longer the case. I wish we would have saved thousands upon thousands of dollars and just gone with cheaper vinyl windows.

  Great automated response. Unfortunately, no human actually ever reached out to me. Good thing we've already been dealing with this for over a year and have an open case file. Meanwhile, we still can't sleep at night because our sliders in our master bedroom whistle non-stop when there's any sort of wind.

  I installed a ************************************************** are terrible. Difficult to put on. Difficult to make them stay on and Difficult to remove.Whoever thought of this system should be out of the door industry. I will never buy and ******** product again.

  Windows leak through the ***** into wall cavity of home. Caused black mold to grow throughout our home and caused chronic mold toxicity illness in our son from years of toxic mold exposure. We bought new windows thinking they had fixed the problem from 20 years ago. We didn't want a bunch of mismatched windows in our home so we were dumb enough to buy Andersen again. Same windows. Same exact leak 20 years later. Andersen acts like it's not a problem. Meanwhile they're windows are ruining people's homes and making kids sick.

  Received a response. Their solution is to send an engineer that the precariously sent to our home who lied on his report and gave false information regarding water testing performed on the windows. This individual also used pictures he didn't take to include in his report from Andersen yet he's suppose to be a 3rd party opinion. Obviously paid off by someone at Andersen since this seems to be a recurring problem with their windows. Now they want to send the same dishonest engineer who I'm sure will lie on his report again in an attempt to protect them. Meanwhile their windows are still ruining our home and costing us money as I'm sure they are other homes as well. Do better Andersen. Lose the corporate greed and do a better job at fixing your windows so you don't cause other children to be sick like ours.

  We built a new home in February 2024 in which the builder installed Andersen 100 series windows. From the first day we moved in, we experienced extreme temperature variations between rooms. With outside temperatures below 25, some rooms were 60 degrees. In summer with outside temperatures over 90, some rooms were 80 degrees. The thermostat remains set at 70 degrees. After thorough investigation with an infrared temperature gun and thermometers, the windows turned out to be the source of the problem. We contacted the builder, and they found no issues with installation and told us they have installed these windows in other houses with no prior complaints. After numerous calls to Andersen ***************** my case was escalated to a supervisor who reluctantly agreed to send a representative out to inspect the windows. He only performed a visual inspection of the inside and outside of the windows and said he found no problem. No tests were done to see if the windows met manufacturing specifications. The representative also stated that was the best I could expect out of Andersen 100 series windows. These windows are manufactured with Low-E glass and are ********* filled and are Energy Star Certified. Is this normal performance for an Andersen 100-series window or are my windows defective? Does Andersen really market and sell windows that are this low a quality for new construction home? Theres an undeniable problem, but Andersen is not willing to acknowledge the possibility of the windows being at fault. To make matters worse, they refuse to work with customers to reach a resolution to the problem.We are left with one option: replace all the windows in a 9-month-old house. You can be sure the replacement windows will not be Andersen.

  It's been over 30 days since Andersen said they would have a representative contact me regarding my concerns and as of today, no one has made any attempt to contact me by email or phone. Can't say I'm surprised as this is typical of how seriously Andersen Window company takes the entire subject of ***************** They don't stand behind their products and don't even make an attempt to work with customers. I submitted this complaint more as warning to anyone considering a window purchase to be aware that if you purchase an Andersen product, don't expect quality or support after your purchase.

  Im beyond frustrated with ******** Windows. Two of the larger windows were defective and bowed when delivered, and theyve been dragging the issue out for months. While they did order a new panel for one of the large windows due to the bow, they are now completely unresponsive. To make matters worse, two more windows wont shut properly. On top of that, the technicians who came out were condescending and insulted us by treating us like we were stupid. Despite repeated attempts to contact ********, weve received no help. Their warranty is worthless, and they just blame everything on installation. Save yourself the headache and choose another manufacturerthis has been a nightmare.

  I moved into a house that has 5 EMCO storm doors I have just learned from the Andersen support center that these doors can not have their cylinders replace or be rekeyed. I was told that this is for 'security' but no one can explain the inconvenience of having to have 5 keys for the the 5 doors. The house doors are keyed to the same key so I don't understand this comment.I have two additional storm doors that were added after the house was built. These ****** doors have replaceable cores. In fact, ****** is providing me with 2 new cores at no cost that they will rekey together.I strongly suggest that the packaging by Andersen of its series 400 doors clearly and boldly outline that multiple doors on the same house cannot be rekeyed the same.
