We recently moved back to ********** and we chose Pioneer to install 3 mini-splits in our home. The estimator came to our home and spent time going over the installation process, giving us information about the type of mini-splits and about the **** SAVE program. Pioneer submitted a proposal which we accepted and within 2 weeks they installed the mini-splits. The technicians installed the entire system in 3 days. We interviewed other companies about mini-split installation and we chose Pioneer due to their extensive experience with the product and the service they provide for it. We look forward to working with Pioneer on annual service for the mini splits.Review fromREBECCA M

Our experience with this company has been SO positive. The people who work here are incredibly professional, responsive, and thorough. We have had three technicians come by so far, and all have been super nice extremely knowledgeable, and passionate about doing their work well. Our furnace recently stopped working and required a part that needed to be special ordered. The service repairman that fixed the furnace, Sonny, proved to be friendly and was quick to install the new part. He was very willing to answer our questions and provide us information about the furnace that we had never received from our condominium developer. While it is never fun to have your furnace stop working, having a repair person who was genuinely concerned about his customer and the quality of his service was greatly appreciated..Pioneer Heating and Cooling, Inc.

I called your office yesterday to report a malfunctioning mini-split at my home. Shortly, I was called back by *****, who was able to diagnose the problem immediately, and told me how to correct it myself. I followed his directions, and the unit is now functioning normally. Last week a technician from Pioneer Heating and Cooling came to my home to service my furnace. He arrived on time and was very willing to wear a mask. He was personable and very knowledgeable. At one point he reached out to the person who worked on my furnace last year to talk over a procedure and ask for his input. After their discussion it was decided I would keep the part intact and purchase a replacement should I need it in the middle of the winter. I thought his concern about my safety and the safety of my family went above and beyond. I look forward to continuing to work with Pioneer Heating and Cooling and want them to know what a terrific ambassador this employee is for their company. We recently had our yearly maintenance visit from Pioneer Heating and Cooling and were extremely impressed with the great service we received from *****. He called us to let us know he could arrive earlier than anticipated, which was fine with us, and upon arrival we found him to be very pleasant, easy to communicate with and informative. When he was finished he gave us all the details of what he addressed and he was happy to answer our questions. He was kind, very professional and just a real pleasure to do business with. Pioneer Heating and Cooling has been providing excellent service to me for years. They worked on my old heating system, put in a new state of the art heating system several years ago, and installed two mini-split units to keep me cool. I bought a house in 2018 with a heating system they installed. It stopped working and the plumber said it was normal wear and tear. I was hoping a couple of repairs by new plumber would do the trick, but the boiler had too much condensation from the improper installation and rotted out in such a short time. I need an entirely new heating system and it needs to be installed in a completely different Spot in my basement to work properly. Their office manager gaslighted me about it putting it on me and then when I spoke to the owner he said the same office manager would get back to me and she never did. Terrible.The Better Business Bureau said they couldnt help me because of the lack of a warranty because I had no way of knowing after the year it broke down that it would happen. ** are glad to have an opportunity to respond to this concern. ** installed a wall hung mid-efficiency ***** boiler in February of 2017 for the builder of the home. At that time the boiler was running properly. In April (4th) of 2018 we were alerted to a problem regarding a gasket leaking water which we tended to and repaired under our labor warranty. Another leak was detected shortly after to assess. ** then alerted the manufacturer and asked for a rep to come out. ** were on site on April 30th 2018 when the ***** service rep was there to check the resolve. At that time if for any reason the installation was incorrect the ***** rep would have been obligated to alert us. There was no indication of any faulty installation methods. The issues were resolved and the very last time we saw the boiler was April 30th, 2018.On July 26th, 2021 (over 3 years since we had worked on the boiler) the customer called and explained she was having issues with her hot water because the boiler was going into lock out. At that time we offered to perform a service call and dispatch a technician. She was not willing to pay for a service call and declined the dispatch asking instead for us to talk to ***** to get her a new boiler. ** explained that they would require a technician go out and confirm a fault. ** DID reach out to our utica technical rep who confirmed they would need a tech to go out and see what is actually happening. At that time there was no record of maintenance and it seemed very possible the boiler simply needed an ignitian assembly and cleaning. The customer declined our services.A year after that, on May 12, 2022 the customer called again saying she had a plumber look at the system and he determined the fault may be installation error. When reiewing their invoice it only mentions the venting length is "close to maximum" which is correct- but the length including all bends is within allowable specifications from the manufacturer. ** have no evidence of installation error. This system has provided heat and hot water to this home since 2017. ** have never denied the customer service or the opportunity to assess the current state of the boiler. ** stand behind all of our work. ** offer a one year workmanship warranty on all of our installations simply to account for any errors. ** permit all of our work and this job was even seen by a manufacturer rep. ** and are still open this however there are costs associated with dispatching a technician. There was never an intention for the customer to feel upset and certainly not gas lit. ** hope this can be resolved.
