  A team of pleasant and highly competent people arrived on time and completed a complex replacement of my propane furnace in a day and a half. This required new piping and a new hole in the wall for intake and exhaust for a 97% efficient boiler. The piping is immaculate and carefully fitted. Highly recommended.

  I contacted several installers last spring about whole house heat pumps, mini-splits, and heat-pump hot water. Pioneer was the most responsive and professional of the group. They not only did what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it, but they had excellent advice about my situation. We scheduled an installation last October that included a ducted heat pump for our in-law apartment, a separate ductless system for our unit, and heat-pump hot water. The installers were friendly, professional, and accommodating to our needs. We're now almost through our first heating season and couldn't be happier. Pioneer is most highly recommended.

  I would like to be a part of spreading the word that Pioneer  Heating & Cooling, Inc is a great company to do business with. I discovered this by having them put in a mini split for me (a neighbor had recommended them.) From my first contact conversation in the office to the customer service rep. to the installation person made me aware I was working with a reliable, friendly and knowledgeable crew. Also, very approachable with any concerns I might have had. I've signed up for yearly maintenance with them.

  GREAT local business that has kept my home cool or hot since 2006. The service people, the managers, the person answering the phone (always pleasant!) have been responsive and courteous and have provided consistent service over the years. They offer a PACT agreement, which I use each year ... so if an emergency happens then I feel secure in knowing someone will come and fix the problem, even if it is on a weekend. I've gotten a new furnace, a new air conditioner over the years .... and the maintenance is thorough and safe and I know they are looking out for both my safety and ways to NOT spend extra money. From From Edwin, to Sunny, to Debra, to Jeff, to Scott, to Miranda, to Steve, to ... all are knowledgable & conscientious. Completely satisfied with this local business and thankful they are down the road from my home.

  Pioneer Valley Heating and Cooling did a super job recommending a new boiler for our 25 year-old one, and then moving the old boiler out and installing the new one. Our basement is a real challenge as the space for the boiler is very small/very confined. Pioneer did such a professional and knowledgeable job I really want to give them ten stars! And by the way, they reassured me they wouldnt leave a mess when they finished the job, and they didnt!

  Pioneer Valley Heating & Cooling  did a great job in installing mini-splits in my home. The office staff was very knowledgeable in helping me decide what to get. The installation crew was exceptional. We had them  installed right before the heat wave last week and they worked great. I would recommend Pioneer Valley Heating & Cooling to anyone looking for mini-splits

  Professional, efficient, and knowledgeable! I cannot say enough good things about this company. We had oil heat and after an energy audit, met with Pioneer's estimator, Jeff, who walked us through the conversion to a whole house heat pump using our existing (and good) central air ductwork. He answered all our questions and anticipated some we had not thought to ask. After we got his quote, which seemed quite reasonable especially considering the MassSave rebates, we moved ahead with the installation. The crew was here for three days and they were incredibly professional, nice, happy to answer questions (i.e. patient with me), and thorough. (Added bonus: They vacuumed the attic stairs TWICE, which is two more times than we have ever vacuumed them in the four years we've lived here.) I could write ten pages about how pleased we were with all of them. The new system is terrific and easy to use; I can already tell we made the right decision. Pioneer followed up with us a few days after installation to make sure everything was running smoothly and to see if we had questions, and filled out their portion of the MassSave rebate paperwork and had it ready for us. Highly recommend! Ten stars!
