      Terrible company to work with. For a company whose whole purpose is to store and organize documents, they don't seem to have anything in order in their own offices. They are constantly mixing up storage and services between the two departments in our office, not cancelling services even after confirmation, and inventing shredding bins to charge us for. They even invented a third department to start billing at one point. We've had a representative meet us in-office so we could tell them to clean up their act, but nothing seems to change. I'm sure they know how difficult it is to move large storage holdings to a new company, so there is almost no incentive for them to provide quality service once you start using them for storage. I can't wait for our business to transition into paperless filing so we can be done with them altogether.The ONLY good thing about the company are the actual on-the-ground staff, so I'll say that's who this one star is for. Iron Mountain as a company deserves 0.AVOID AVOID AVOID

      some of the employees who visit our office from ********************** are consistently rude and unprofessional. they come by once a month, and each time they have an unpleasant attitude, acting like we're bothering them just by interacting with ******* our most recent visit, the employee complained and it was visibly irritated, claiming that we always have more paper than usual which is simply not true. some times its a different person, and he never complains.when we dispose the paper it naturally falls in a random way that might make it seem like theres more then usually is, but its a normal volume every time.their customer service need serious improvement

      I am only leaving 1 star because I cannot leave zero, which they deserve. Iron Mountain is the third party vendor for ************, so we contracted through ************ for a one time shredding service. The order was placed April 11 and we were told we'd receive a call from Iron Mountain to schedule our service within 3 business days. Here we are nearly a month later, and every time I call, Iron Mountain has no record of our order. When I call Office Depot I am told the order has been accelerated three times to Iron Mountain and that "*****" will be contacting me the same day to set up the service. Still, no call. We have 20+ bankers boxes filled with paper sitting in the middle of our shop, waiting on Iron Mountain to follow through with their job. Finally, today, after getting the run around again, I cancelled the service. I will NEVER do business with Iron Mountain and absolutely agree that the customer service is located in a different country and there is very much a language barrier there. ************ needs to reexamine who they contract their services to b/c Iron Mountain is a horrible company and I cannot believe they've actually been around as long as they have, if this is the quality of service they provide.

      This used to be a great company used them for decades. Now its one of my top 5 worst vendors. Nothing is on time, no one communicates with you. The call centers are all overseas and so good luck getting someone who will actually listen and not parrot some canned answers. Service was done over a month ago and just getting some random invoice for part of the service and no one can answer any questions, they have no idea if they picked up to containers or when I am going to see a final bill. Not worth any money saved in the time lost waiting for a person to work with.

      Had to work for this company but I caught a flat on the highway and when I got there at 9:00 start time was 8am it was no compassion at all I was told ok we expected you at 8 basically who cares about your safety and well being I was excused for the job but was later on blocked from the app after I had another job lined up but its ok but if a job isnt about safety what the heck is it for I see a lot of negative reviews about this company I may have dodged a bullet

      To Whom It May Concern:I received invoice KDPT300 on 3/13/2025 in the amount of $83.40.This is concerning to me as our account was closed out and confirmed by your company on 2/5/2025.I began this cancellation process with your company on 12/20/2024. I called in and spoke to several members on your team. I must add that no one I was in touch with spoke English as their first language, and so a language barrier was present during all phone calls. I also must add that one of the associates hung up on me and I had to call back and start the process over and wait on hold for longer than what was truly needed.Since trying to cancel this account, I have had nothing but the run around and the process was far from smooth. At one point I was told that I was not the authorized user to cancel any accounts, which was confusing as the bill is addressed with my name on it.I do have all emails from my correspondences with your company and can forward them at your request.---We were charged for the removal of the bin at location 2531, invoice KBXS278, when it is still sitting in our building. When we called and inquired about this, we were told that our account was closed out and that we would need to reactivate the account and be charged another removal fee to have the bin taken from our location. This bin is useless to us as there is no key to remove the shred that is currently sitting in it. At this point, I am ready to be done with your company. We are being charged for services that are not being provided.I need to be ensured that locations 4085, 1869, 2530, and 2531 will NOT receive another bill and that the cancellations have all been completed on these accounts. If any payment has been collected in error since the cancellation, I request a full refund to our bank.We will not be paying anything further for services that we are not receiving and will be considering cancelling ALL services with our other locations if this cannot be resolved.

      Awful company to work with, would never recommend. They failed consistently to provide my team and I with accurate information, and constantly charged us "mystery fees" throughout our contract. When asked what these fees were, I was given the most vague response and told that I could not get refunded. Awful, just awful customer service. Such a scam.

      do not use this company - nightmare doesnt begin to describe it... the dropped off more bins than we needed, completely filling our lobby and making it impassable... they then refused to pick them up for 6 weeks... and charged us for their mistake.

      an absolute nightmare, We have been trying to have their bins removed from our property since September of this year,, Keep saying invoice has to be paid,, Invoices paid and then ask when coming to pick up bins.. Oh you have outstanding invoice that was not paid.. again and again and two more months go by.. **** representatives are polite but annoying because they have no authority to complete the solution,, and another month and another month.. Iron Mountain has been asked to remove their bins from our property. Hire someone locally not this monster company less than one star , would not rate at all

      I agree wholeheartedly with the last review. They are terrible! I wanted to have an outside shred company come pick up my old files to shred them. Iron Mountain gave me the wrong address for the physical location of the boxes. So, the ************* charged me a trip fee (rightfully so). I have trying to get Iron Mountain to issue a credit to my account for the amount of this expense since it was their fault. It has been a full month and I have yet to have a conversation with someone that can actually do anything. I have been told 5 times that I would get a call back today. I have yet to receive that call.I am also finding out that removing boxes from their facility is costly and a nightmare.Stay away!
