    I have been using the lastpass app for several years with no complaints. However, I recently needed to make a change to my address and the response was to enter viable mailing address. I searched for ways on the web site to contact the company. It would only refer me to "communities" and chat bot features. There apparently is no way to contact anyone with the company directly.I then attempted to cancel the service. After multiple steps, I received a message that I was unable to cancel at this time.A truly frustrating process.

    Poor customer service (switched to a bot). It took several days to hear back from anyone. FaceID software issue was suddenly not working with my iphone for several days. The company forum claimed it was a 3rd party vendor issue. They claimed it was resolved but that was false. **************** claimed it was my login info. that was wrong (ignoring the fact that my problem was with FaceID which was my login). FaceID is supposed to also work for recovery but that wasnt working either. I have switched to a competitor (1Password) but wanted to report the lack of trust and security I feel about using LastPass. This is not the first time they have had security issues.

    We have been trying to cancel our account for two years. We can no longer log into our account, and customer support's answer to this problem was to close the account where the billing was processed. After doing this last year, LastPass sent us to collections instead of closing the account, as we have continually requested. When I called customer service again this year, the answer to being unable to close our account was again not to pay the bill and that no one would offer any other help than that. I would suggest that anyone looking for a password manager look elsewhere.

    I am deeply disappointed with the way GoTo and LastPass treated me as an ex-employee and significant investor. Given my role at the company and other factors, I was given an opportunity to invest in the company by purchasing shares when the company was bought by private equity firm ******************* I was terminated a month before my one year anniversary for no cause. At the time I asked about removing my investment from the company but I was denied. So now I have a meaningful to me amount of money in GoTo and i want out bc I receive little to no information on the status of the organization. I have inquired about selling off or disposing of my initial investment for a profit and I get little to no helpful responses from the LMi team.

    I had been using LastPass for years successfully. Until yesterday.Here is what happened:I tried to login with the master password that I KNEW and have used three thousand times. It didn't work. OK, maybe I had a typo. I tried variations. None of them worked. I tried account recovery. It sent me the **** I verified, but it always brought me to an error screen that said the lastpass extension wasn't installed in my browser. (It was.)After more failed attempts, I became locked out of my account. Next, I discovered I was not allowed to access tech support at all without being logged in. Out of options, I created a new account. I COPIED AND PASTED THE NEW MASTER PASSWORD so there could be NO MISTAKE. This should work, right? I started trying to set it up my new account, including verifying my email address.When I was prompted to enter Master Password to verify the email address, USING, REMEMBER, THE CORRECT MASTER PASSWORD I HAD COPIED AND PASTED, IT SAID IT WAS INCORRECT.Well, fortunately I was still logged in in another window. I was able to call tech support. The lady was very nice but warned me she would not be able to provide tech support unless it was a paid or trial account. Thankfully the new account had a free trial. We proceeded.She tried to walk me through the account recovery, only for me to encounter the same bogus error message that the extension was not installed. It was both installed and logged in. She said she had to contact the security team. I was forced to answer extensive security questions about my brand new account. Fortunately this was easy, if time consuming, because my account was still open and I had literally just created it. Even after all of this they could still do nothing for me. They kept telling me my master password must have had a typo and I must be entering it wrong. Remember, I copied and pasted it to make SURE there was no such possibility. I told them I was no longer a LastPass user and hung up.

    I recently tried to change my master password in LastPass and when I did that, I could not sign in at all. I was on the computer for almost two days going through LastPass suggestions for recovery and nothing worked.I finally got on BBB just to find a phone number (none are posted on the internet). I had to call the sales department only to be transferred to customer service. Once there, they were able to revert my account back to the original password.Why don't they post a customer service phone number? It is wastes so much time trying their suggestions which do not work.

    Ive been a Premium LastPass customer since 2014. Recently, my account shows me as a FREE user and Im unable to change the setting back to Premium. And worse yet, LastPass on my iPhone stopped working because it says my trial has expired. I'm also unable to access the LastPass ***************** because the system sees me as a FREE vs PREMIUM user.My annual renewal is automated through my credit card. I paid my annual renewal on October 18, 2023. It took forever to find a way to contact LastPass support. I advised them that I'm frustrated with their support and security breaches, so I wanted a refund and cancel my subscription. LastPass says they never received my payment, which isn't true.I would advise others to steer away from LastPass for security management.

    My account has been closed for over a year, but I'm still being billed an annual subscription. Because my account is closed, there is no way to log into the support system to open a new ticket. There is no working phone number to contact the company. All phone numbers I've tried have led me back to the online support system, which I cannot access. I am now being forced to dispute the charge with my credit card company. I would look elsewhere for a password manager.

    Continued struggles to login on any Apple device - contact them and they tell me the only way to utilize is to reset the account and lose all *********************** that have been saved in the vault. They offer no assistance whatsoever and are rude to the point of making the call contentious. When asked to speak to a supervisor for a refund I am put on hold for a tremendously long time as an almost battle of ***** - run from this company - do not do business with them unless you enjoy getting ripped off.
