Make sure you follow up on EVERYTHING!!!! Started the process on August 8, 2022 with the quote and the work wasn't completed until December 19, 2022 and one of the nine windows had to be re-ordered because the bathroom bottow glass was supposed to be obscured. The major problem was on the day of installation, all 9 windows were measured incorrectly and needed to be re-measured and re-ordered. More time off to be home for these appointments. We wanted these particular windows because they were the best on the market. Customer Service was NOT the best experience and we continually got the run around. Provision was made to have the measurements and the next install on a day and time of our choosing. The windows were installed on a Sunday morning December 19th and the installers were very thorough, prompt, friendly, fast and cleaned everything up once they were finished inside the house and outside. They made up for all of the hastle of getting the windows, The purchase price with rebates were better than any other quotes we received. If you use this company, only pay the down payment until the job is completed. I've always paid in full for windows on other homes with no problem. Have the measurements double/triple checked before they leave. I was told the person who made the measurement mistakes was fired. I think he made that same mistake on other window appointments. He was a nice guy but we found out later that he didn't know how to measure windows. Customer Service is just as important as the install itself. The Sales Rep. Mark B*** was the best part of this whole experience. He is the one who sold us on these windows. Mark was absolutely Fantastic. Mark B*** helped save Universal Window Direct's butt along with Tyrone M*****. Tyrone M***** allowed us to express our anger with the whole process and come up with a solution. My experience with this company was great from beginning. Signed up for free estimate at a festival. The gentleman that came was very knowledgeable of the products and quick. Product was ontime. The two gentlemen who installed the windows were prompt, efficient and cleaned up the site. Only issue was one window was not measured right. The quality of the door and the installation was great. Where are my issue lays is with customer service. Upon a salesman visiting our home January 2022 he told us that we had six months from the time our newly purchased front door was installed to pay our bill. I verified with him that I had six months from the time of installation (which was supposed to be May 2022) to pay the bill. In June 2022 I received a bill from the finance company telling me that it was due in full. I then contacted customer service three different times and spoke to two different receptionists Who advised me they would have a manager call me. Finally on the third try they connected me with Wayson. He advised me that the salesman should not have told me that I had six months to pay upon installation. When I asked him to contact the credit company and give me the six months that I was promised he advised that he would have to call me back. He never called me back. Then when the installers finally showed up on August 26, 2022 they advised me that the storm door, which was already installed, would not be put back up. Another thing that the salesman said they would do. And again something that I confirmed would happen at the time of the sale. I’ve definitely learned to have everything put down in writing. Unfortunately due to Universal Windows Direct poor customer service, we won’t be calling them back to do any future work at our home.Universal Windows Direct of Louisville

They look beautiful! I'll be ordering additional windows in the next few months! The old windows were original to the house, built in 1974. We replaced 6 windows and love the way they make the room look and the view we're now seeing. Three of the old window seals had failed so two windows were a little hazy but one was completely fogged and had what appeared to be green mold growing in between the panes. Four of the old windows were stationary so we couldn't open them on nice days to let in fresh air; the new windows open and we're hoping for some cooler weather soon so we can have some "natural" air conditioning. The salesman, Wayson, was personable, knowledgeable and thoroughly explained the window construction and available options. The scheduler (I believe her name was Brandy) was friendly and "smiled" over the phone. The installers were polite and obviously well experienced with the installations, they cleaned up the debris as they worked, when they finished they demonstrated the raise/lower tilt features and ventilation locks and ensured we were happy with the installation.Universal Windows Direct of Louisville

Quality products at a fair price. Our salesperson, Will, was well informed and went out of his way to come back later in the evening to meet with me. Installers were right on time, got the old windows out and the new windows in super fast, then took their tube ensuring the windows were properly sealed and neatly dressed with our requested trim finish. My experience with Universal Windows has been a good one. The guy came out to give me a quote and was very professional. Answered all my questions and explained everything very well. Said it would be 8-10 weeks to get them in. When they came in, they called made an appointment and they were out here right when they said. I had 7 windows installed and 1 storm door. I watched them put one window in so I could see how they were going to look. They got here around 8 and was finished by 1. They were very professional. They put tarp down on floor inside and even vacuumed floor when they were finished. They also cleaned up on the outside. I was very satisfied with the windows and the door. I would highly recommend them. I love the windows and the storm door. My reason for replacing windows was the heat would really make it hot in the room. When they completed their work, I went in and put my arm next to the window and couldn't feel the sun coming in at all. Very pleased.Universal Windows Direct of Louisville
