  We used DDR for renovating our basement. Jon, our project manager, was very knowledgeable and courteous when it came to communicating and managing the project. We are happy with the work they have done and any issues we've had have been minor and they were quick to address and fix. If you're thinking about a renovation project for your home, give DDR a call!

  We needed more space for offices on the first floor and a master bathroom with a second closet for my wife on the second floor, and couldn’t be more pleased with the result. We love the Saint Matthews area and wanted to stay in the neighborhood, but we had to have more room in the house for the family. Our plan for the addition came closer to the property boundaries than the dated zoning rules allowed for. DDR got us approved for the variance and permits we needed with no problems. The workers were all very nice, polite, and courteous to me and my wife. They kept the rest of the house clean while they worked and were very responsive to our questions and ideas. We highly recommend DDR for any remodeling projects and plan to do business with them again.

  Most of us like spending time outside when the weather is nice, and nothing fits that desire better (for us older folks) than a covered back deck or patio. We purchased our current home in 2018 as the second owners and almost immediately added a Sunsetter ® Motorized Awning for shade. That was a start; however, it didn’t protect us from the bugs, and we wanted it to be taller with a ceiling fan large enough to keep us cool. So, in the middle of last year, my wife Diana started looking at contractors that could cover and screen in a small (10’ X 16’) back deck. We planned to relocate the motorized awning to the concrete patio that was adjacent to the back deck (so we didn’t waste the awning!). My wife, Diana, chose DDR. The Managing Partner, Jesse H******, came to see what we wanted and, on the spot, based on the decisions that he led us through, was able to give us a fixed price quote. It was not “his first rodeo”- he had a lot of knowledge of what would and wouldn’t work as far as the support structure and roof line for our specific project. He saved us time and money from the start and gave us a very good estimate (as it turned out) of the project timeline. DDR specializes in very specific remodel/addition jobs and that is why they are so good at what they do. The project proceeded at a good, but well-controlled pace with DDR taking care of the Design, CAD Drawings, building permits, and HOA approval. The communication with the project manager, Leroy C*****, was excellent and he was well connected to us and our project from start to finish. The crews (framing, roofing, siding, electrical, some plumbing, finished carpentry, and screening/doors) were all well run, polite, and did a pretty good job of cleaning up after themselves. The payment plan was well communicated ahead of time and the interface at the office through the Manger, Brandee S****, was both prompt and courteous. We both highly recommend them for their advertised specialties.

  Highly recommend. From the first phone call, meetings, planning, and execution, this process has been easy and wonderful. The entire DDR team is great to work with, kind, fun, and extremely professional. Leroy, our project manager, was great to work with. He was extremely communicative, helped guide us to make the right decisions for what we wanted, and if he didn't know, he asked a colleague. We're very pleased with the entire process and the outcome of our covered patio.

  My wife and I are finishing up a backyard covered patio with DDR and we couldn’t be more pleased. They were professional, attentive to our concerns, and our project manager Leroy was a real pleasure to work with. He insured everything was accomplished on time and at the highest quality. We have added value to our home and will enjoy our new beautiful outdoor living space for many years to come. We cannot thank the DDR staff enough for all fine work they offered us through this design and construction.

  Contracted with DDR for a second time to add a covered porch to my front yard. DDR started framing on a Thursday and less than two weeks layer my job was competed. I highly recommend this company for any of your projects. Leroy is the best general contractor ever. Very honest and straightforward. Framing crew to the roofers and electricians and even the warehouse staff all top notch!!!

  We had a four season sunroom built by DDR. All of the staff from the sales person , project coordinator, & the workers were top notch. If we had a question they would answer us quickly. We would recommend DDR to anyone wanting quality work!
