This service contract administrator looks to say "NO" This was my first experience with this admin. I purchased a platinum warranty through a broker, Empire Auto Protect, was sold a bill of goods on an "exlusionary" policy. Three months after the purchase period, which is beyond the waiting period of one month. My vehicle developed an issue, I take it to the local OEM dealer and they discovered three issues with the vehicle. After waiting five weeks and several call from myself and ealer, all three claims were denied. The admin at first blamed waiting on us for replies as why it took so long (funny I guess response within 24 hours) creates a five week delay. Then I was told that management upon layer of management had to review the claims. Then they told dealer denied with no details. So, I called back again to be told that all three issues predate the contract start date? Huh??? I said by that logic, all claims will be denid because this is a "used" car an of course it has wear and tear and breakdown typcially takes over time and is not spontaneous. Their tone was rude and condesending along the way. The broker claims they tried to get them to rereview the claims and were told no. So, riddle me this? How is anything covered on a used car? Of course items start to wear and breakdown from use and you never know when they will fail. I asked for a refund of my prepaid policy, and was directed back to the broker. It has been three weeks and I have heard nothing. Kinda funny, how they are quick to take your money, but slow to return it and now I am out thousands that could have been covered if I chose a better service contact broker and administrator. Run for the hills, I suggest you never, never buy a contract administered by Motoassure. PS I expect the same canned reply as the other reviews have recieved, do you see a pattern? RUN RUN RUN

To Whom It May Concern: (BBB), the claim was denied in accordance with the terms and condition of the Vehicle Service Contract. Third-party inspector was sent to view the vehicle, based of the time and mileage the inspector determined the failed components pre-dated the purchase of the Vehicle Service Contract.

also be expressly excluded from coverage.
SECTION V. EXCLUSIONS – WHAT IS NOT COVERED

This company is a COMPLETE scam. My vehicle has been at the dealer for a month. MA continuously moved the goal posts. After various questions and requests for documentation being satisfied, a so called “manager” telling me that an inspector would go to the dealer to review, i received a call from the dealer saying it was denied because I didn’t TOW THE VEHICLE to the dealer that is 13 mins from me, because the CEL was on. This company NEVER INTENDED on repairing the vehicle. They purposefully waited WEEKS to deliver a msg that made zero sense. Why would anyone tow a vehicle somewhere and they don’t know why the light was on in the first place. Using that logic, the gas cap could’ve been loose and triggered a CEL. Does that mean i should’ve had it towed? STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLOWN SHOW!!!!

To Whom It May Concern BBB, the claim was denied in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Vehicle Service Contract. The vehicle was in the shop due to the customer not being able to provide the needed service records to verify if the vehicle had been properly maintained. The customer continued to operate the vehicle once the check engine was on, possibly causes more damage.
