Worse bank ever closed my checking accounts account without any notice or seeing that I was trying to get it out of the negative as my old job was cutting hours and just in July I got a better paying job and had a paycheck supposed to be direct deposited before the 1st and then another one this week and they closed it on the first and when asked for a rejection letter to inform my job they wont give it so I have two paychecks not deposited and who know a where which I need to make a car payment and Im been on hold for a good 10 to 15 minutes trying to get a hold of a supervisor there to see if they can just typ up a rejection letter so I can get my job to deposit my paychecks elsewhere

*** recently updated their online banking. They did not, however, carry over any automated bill pay that was set up causing my credit card payment not to be withdrawn when due. As a result, my payment was marked 30 days late which caused them to reduce my credit limit to my credit balance thus knocking 150 points off of my credit score. After 3 hours on the phone with them they are unwilling to admit they are at fault at all, nor to attempt anything to remedy this issue. After being a member for over 30 years and credit card holder with zero late payments for over 10 I will be closing my account with them as they are not willing to work with anyone to make something that was done in their error, correct.

Absolutely horrible policies and customer service. I disputed an unauthorized charge on my credit card. Despite being a long term member my request was quickly denied. The company in question offered me half of my money back instead of removing the charge. Their customer service suggested I should accept the offer, forfeiting half of my money, for a charge I didn't authorize, rather than disputing the initial charge. Apparently their credit union condones companies robbing you without any recourse. I will be looking for another bank to safely secure my money.

The most uncaring and unprofessional people I have come across. They repossessed my in laws car after being 30 days late. My in-laws are in their eighties and thought they had paid the bill but did not. Due to a ridiculous amount of spam calls they also missed the communication that they were past due. The next morning I called on their behalf with my father in law who gave them permission to deal with me. They put me on hold and he went onto dialysis. Once they finally picked up they had no record of the action that was just performed. I was already late to work trying to deal with this and now because of their mistake my in-laws have to go without their vehicle until the earliest Monday all because of health issues and an uncaring and unfriendly staff.

Be weary of banking with this credit union. They sued me for something that THEY dropped the ball on. And because of this my account went negative from their own wronging doing and they expected me to pay. Ive battled this is the ******* courts only to fail because Im not a lawyer and I dont practice law. Im a lower middle class person just trying to make ends meet and they sued me to protect their own employees who failed to follow the standing operating procedures they have in place. The amount they claimed I owned is minimal compared to the amount they would gained in interest having loans with them. These dishonest practices should be acknowledge because if this same unscrupulous acts are happening to other clients which Im sure that it is, shows their true character. They then blocked my use of the mobile app, just another ***** way that these dishonest people use. Shameful bank and the workers involved are even worse.

Teachers credit Union does not notify both parties on an account If the account becomes negative. This situation caused me to be unable to cash checks or withdraw moneys from my positive accounts. When I notified the bank the representative explained to me that their policy is to notify both parties when an account becomes negative. The bank did not do that and once I complained about it and withdrew all of my money down to the minimum amount they kicked me out of their bank. I am no longer a member because it seems they felt I challenged them. One representative said they felt threatened while I was in the bank. the whole time that I was in there I felt uncomfortable and neglected. I rarely go inside of banks I always use the window. so to be mistreated coming into one is another story. I received the email stating I had a refund coming that totaled the minimum balance in other words they kicked me out. Thank you teachers credit union but no thanks.

I have been a customer with TCU since **** and have been happy with their service but I can no longer access their bill pay feature on their new website. When I called to report the problem they told me I had two options: turn off my pop-up blocker (I don't have one) or reinstall ********* Edge (which works just fine with every other website I visit). They also continued to tell me they could access the bill pay feature from their end. That's great if they're going to pay my bills. In my opinion, this is a problem they should be correcting on their end instead of making the customer deal with it. If you call be prepared to listem to at least five minutes of bot chatter before you actually get to speak to someone. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Failed to mention that reinstalling ********* Edge would not have made any difference as I am already using the most recent version.

The dealership I purchased my car from recommended *** for a car loan. Nothing but trouble from the start. Rude call center staff and when you ask to speak to a supervisor, they wont call you back. My husband and I have been married 46 years and have done business with many financial institutions. We will NEVER work with this place again.

I financed the purchase of my car with an auto loan from Teachers Credit Union. When I went to make the last payment I paid the exact balance that I had in my account at that time. This being my first car that I paid for entirely myself I was unaware of interest that had accumulated over the term of my loan, and was not reflected in the loan balance when I went to make the first payment. I then a few months later went to apply for a mortgage and was shocked that my credit report had a flagged 30 day late payment from ***. I went into the branch and discovered there was .02$ in my account and they flagged it on my credit report. Technically was this my error- yes and I admit that. I talked with several people at *** most of whom all agreed that a $.02 balance should not have been flagged on a credit report. They ran it up the flag pole on my behalf to the head of their credit department. Their response was too bad. Even though *** was making 5% interest on my car loan they still felt the $.02 balance was enough of a balance I guess to flag my report without even a phone call!!!! To put this into context I was applying for my mortgage in June of 2022. Interest rates were shooting thru the roof. Other than that 1 flag I had no blemishes on my credit report. The impact this had on my and my family was basically going from a 750+ credit rating to something more in line with a fair credit rating. I pleaded, begged and they refused. This is not the way you treat customers- you know over .02$. Its hard to say but I would say the impact of this is an additional $150-$250 each month on my mortgage. And I have to live with that for the next 7 years. Thanks a lot Teachers Credit Union. They talk like they are part of the community and will help you out but its all lies. Lies and lies. The sad thing is I know that this is happening to others as well. Do not bank there, do not finance with *** they are the worst. Dont say I didnt warn you.

Please know that we understand your frustration on this matter. We take all member complaints very seriously and thoroughly researched yours. It appears that the final payment on your loan wasnt received in time to avoid the additional interest charge on the outstanding balance. This left the small remaining balance you referred to. We believe we complied with our obligation to notify you of this matter and appreciate that you took ownership of the situation in your complaint. While we regret that such a small unpaid balance was submitted to your credit report, its important to understand that we are legally bound to report ALL delinquent loan balances no matter how small. We never want a member to be in this situation, which is why we make every reasonable effort to notify our members of their outstanding balances before we must comply with our legal obligation to report it. Again, we understand your frustration and regret the outcome.
