      ACE Rent-a-Car feels like a SCAM from start to finish. I rented a car from ACE at *** airport in September 2023. My first bad sign was when the guy at the counter told me I needed insurance . . . I told him I had already bought insurance online. He "couldn't find" a record of it until I produced an email showing him the confirmation. Then, he told me I needed an additional kind of insurance. I was highly skeptical but didn't want to fight and just wanted to get out of there, so I went ahead paid for it. That was Strike 1.SIX MONTHS AFTER THE ***** I was contacted by *** telling me I now owed them $140 for a parking ticket I'd allegedly incurred. I never had any indication of said ticket until that moment. I tried contacting them to ask questions but was directed to an email that never replied to my queries.Again, not wanting to fight, I mailed a check to the address requested. That was Strike 2.Then THE CHECK WAS RETURNED TO ME as "undeliverable." I took a photo of the returned mail and emailed it to them, letting them know I had tried and now considered the matter closed. They had the gall to answer me (for the first time!) and say: "Oh, sorry, there's a different address you need to use." Um, no, you should have given me the correct address the first time!! That's Strike 3, YOU'RE OUT, and you're not getting any additional money from me.AVOID AVOID AVOID this company. Total incompetence, and they will try to milk you and scam you for every additional ***** they possibly can. I have so little trust in them and this situation that I have contacted a lawyer.

      Hello *****,Thank you for taking the time to inform us of your rental experience in ******. Regarding insurance, the insurance you purchased through Priceline was collision only and you would need to show proof of purchasing it as we do not see this and you would still need liability. Regarding the parking fine charge, I show that this has been cleared from your account and will be addressed with the location. Per your signed rental agreement, you do agree to have any fines/ violations billed to the card on file from the location. I hope you will allow ACE to assist you in the future.

      The worse service ever! My car had blood, gum and kids drawings all over the ceiling. The car was definitely not cleaned or taken care of and was charged $246. I rented the car at 1000pm so didnt fully inspect it. Once daylight hit I have pictures, time stamped first thing in the morning with all these issues. Unbelievable

      My boy paid 270 upfront and they charged him an extra 295 on the backend all the while making it seem like he was good. These people are scamming and you should take your money elsewhere

      Totally dishonest. Lied to when I returned the car. Pencil lead sized spot on the hood and I just received a demand letter for $ 921 dollars. Dont be fooled by their prices. Youll pay much more in the end.

We do recommend customers take photos or videos of the vehicle at the beginning of the rental in the event there is a damage claim.

      Anyone renting a car from this location should be very weary. They did not have the car I had reserved and gave me an option of one that was too small or a larger vehicle. I was informed that I would get either at the same price I had reserved the initial vehicle for and was rushed through the payment and singing process. I did notice a higher than expected charge and was told this would drop off as it was a hold until I drop off the car. It wasn't until I had returned the car, that I saw that the invoice was over doubled what I had anticipated. It was all really scummy as they rush you through the signing process so they can pull a fast one on you with fees and lie straight to your face about charges that should fall off. I will absolutely never bring this company business again as this is just unethical.

      DO NOT RENT FROM THIS WICKED THIEFN COMPANY I book at the *** AIRPORT LISTEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER THIS LADY PUT 2 type of insurance on my booking that I didnt asked for. AND TOLD ME THAT BECAUSE MY LICENSE IS INTERNATIONAL I HAD TO GET BOTH INSURANCE AND WHEN I WENT BACK TO COUNTER AFTER REALIZING THAT IS WHAT SHE DID EVERYONE GAVE ME ATTITUDE.. THIS WOMAN MADe ME LITTERALLY paid ***** dollars for insurance per day more than the Rental car price . The vechile on the outside looked like it went thru the washer and not cleaned properly. There was cookies between the seat.. I WILLLLL NEVER RENT FROM THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN. One of worst car rental everrrr with poor customer service and a scam.
