Forest River has acquired Cherokee, and Cherokee makes ********** Wolf series 5th wheel. We purchased a 2021 ****** Wolf **** Suite new and had to wait on it for several months to be built. We picked it ** in Feb 2021 and the very first day the leveling system failed to operate. We got it home and could not lower the landing gear to uncouple our truck. The dealership was kind enough to answer our call after hours and help up get it to function, but we have to remove all kinds of stuff to do so and go through a bunch of steps on the auto leveling system. Ever since then we have had to repeat that procedure over and over when the leveling system would not function. The unit has also had several things happen as a result of EXTREME POOR quality control. I will list them here for you to see.1. The electrical wiring up front for the front LED lights and the landing gear controls was pushed into the electric crimp caps but never crimped down. As a result, the wires fell out and for obvious reasons those features would not work. 2. They used a combination of *** plastic and flexible hose to connect the water lines, water heater, faucets, pump, etc. One of the main connectors was pushed together but the *** ring was never crimped down. As a result, we were away one day and that blew apart which caused water to pour into the basement of our unit soaking everything, including the floor in and around it and also filled the belly, the corrugated plastic enclosing the bottom of the trailer, to fill with water. I had to take that down and run fans for several days to dry everything out.3. The drain line from the washing machine goes into a drain trap. The installer cut one of the horizontal pipes too short which caused the drain trap to not line up properly. Instead of removing the pipe and replacing it they ran silicone around the fitting to seal it. It eventually came apart and wash water filled the basement again causing another flood.POOR QUALITY!Review fromJames B.

We purchased a 2018 Grey Wolf travel trailer 31 foot, 26DBH. Vin number 4x4TCKB29JK051446. This camper has only been outside four times to camp. The roof is already coming in the front of the camper and of course the 12 month warranty is expired, however from the mobile camping repair shop we have been told this is a factory issue only. The rubber roof was cut to short to begin with and never fit under the trim on roof. It was known to have been known, as they tried to put a few layers of sealant down so it stayed in place. Not to mention the back side is also cut to short is now bubbling. Due to the warranty being expired they will not cover any of it or own up to yes, it is a factory default and make it right. This roof will cost 8/9,000 for us to fix and it literally has only been out in the weather on four different occasions. I will never buy another product from this company EVER as we know now they will not back there products and have awful customer service.Review fromAubrey B

10/10 dont recommend Forest River campers. Our 2019 has a structural crack that went inside and outside randomly. Talking with insurance its a manufacturer issue. After some research the structural cracks by slide outs are common issue with Forest River. They used to cover this regardless of who the owner was but now they state its not covered unless you are the original owner. This will cost $5-7K + 3 weeks without our home. I will never recommend them to anyone. So much unnecessary cost & stress that we wont need since it will likely be fixed around the time the baby is coming. Cannot wait to get rid of this camper & get one with a brand that treats its customers well.Review fromLori S

We purchased a 2021 XLR Boost, made by Forest River-from Campers Inn, ************, **. This unit is a piece of junk. We have more wrong with it than right. We have been camping for over 40 years and this is by far the worst unit EVER. FOREST River should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this unit to be removed from their facility. They all use the excuse of COVID, but that excuse is over! We are refusing to take this unit back from the dealer because we feel the frame is tweaked and unsafe. Bathroom ceiling fan leaks Sewer smells BAD in garage bathroom Shelf inside the cupboard over microwave is crooked Staples sticking out and hanging in bedroom ceiling by the light Large scratch on outside of camper front. Bolts/Nails coming up from under the flooring in living area and bathroom Scratch/Black marks all over the ceiling in bedroom over dresser Most all seams on walls are TERRIBLE. Tear on bottom of one of the seats in garage Toilets (both garage and front bathroom) spray water all over the walls Electric fireplace comes on randomly very dangerous Nails are coming through the wall in bedroom on right side. When setting the furnace (not air) to 64, the heat comes on and will not shut off. Face plate on the lower left side of sink was all scuffed up Valance over the front door and back door are poor installation Refrigerator latch doesnt work properly. oCondensation is really bad water drips all the time in fridge When entering the garage from living area, close the door and the wall behind is not installed properly Almost on every spot where they stapled, you can see where they tried to cover them, to no avail. VERY POOR WORKMANSHIP When looking at back of camper standing outside, one side is lower than the other - frame is tweaked Privacy shade on right side of couch does not close VERY POOR CRAFTMANSHIP,The issues are long and we do NOT WANT this unit back!Review fromJames Y

Bought a new 2017 Forest River Heritage ***** travel trailer. Less than **** miles had to replace tires. On the third use noticed theater seating leather peeling off. Contacted Forest River Heritage **** division. After 4 weeks of leaving messages and emails I got someone to answer. They said they would look into this. Recieved a email saying only a one year warranty on furniture and ther was nothing they could do. Very disappointing when we bought the higher end Heritage **** and keep it in building does not sit out and only used 5 times. Was told furniture made by Mastercraft, contacted them they said Forest River supplied the leather so not their problem. Surprisingly they do not use Mastercraft anymore. Beware of their warranties!!Review fromNicholas M.

Bought a ************** in November of 2021 that's made by Coachmen, who is owned by Forest River. The unit had a defect that has caused it to be in the shop from Dec 7 until today July 28th and it is still not resolved. I live in ********** and Coachmen has shipped it from ********** to ******* 2 times already. We continue to make monthly payments on the unit and keep our insurance up to date. I've asked, begged, and pleaded to get a written agreement on what is wrong and how are they going to rectify the issue and make up for the lost summer and thousands of dollars we have spent to have a 5th wheel we can not use but get nothing in return. I wish I had a time machine to erase this year.Review fromJon S

Do not buy a forest river product. We bought a 2021 Riverstone in December of 2021, it is now July 2022 and we have only been able to use the unit for one weekend due to all of the repairs needed to be completed. The overall workmanship of their products is horrible. This is the most frustrating experience I've ever been through. Forest River blames the dealership and try's to wash their hands of it and the dealership blames Forest River.Review fromDaniel P

I bought an Rv from **************** ** May of 2022. That ** is a Forest River Salem Hemisphere 356QB. During the time that I had it, I had 3/4 slide outs leak. I've had a lower sweeper seal completely ripped off. I've had a water leak behind the wall of the bunkhouse leading into the back bathroom. I've had a water heater fire from poor placement of the 115v plug for the water heating element. The plug was placed directly under the shower drain on the deck. Water completely pooled around the plug in and caught fire. I've had studs try to poke through the rubber roof when walking on it (Im nowhere near the weight limit.) I've had so many issues that aren't even named here. I finally was able to get repairs on the coach. Forest River honored my repairs that needed to be done. I had the ** delivered to ******* ** for all repairs. The ** was turned in early May, and here I am heading into August. I've been in contact with the repair facility in ******* as well as the parts department for Forest River. Today I was notified that the Water Heater had arrived last week (finally.) Today, 25Jul2022 I learned that the water heater was damaged. Not because of the shipper, but because of the way the water heater was packaged. Today again, I contact the parts department to notify them of the damaged water heater that they pulled from their production department. The phone was answered by a woman named who was laughing while she answered the phone. I'm fine with having fun in the work place, however, In a job where you provide customer service, that is the incorrect way to answer the phone. Then I hear cursing in the background and also it sounded like this woman was trying to impress her friends by the way she was talking to me. My time was wasted completely in this process. It sounded like the mailroom from the movie elf starring ***********************. It's no wonder I've been waiting on my parts for so long. I cannot rely on anyone at Forest River for anything. Do not buy.Review fromNancy S.
