  The AlarmSystemStore.com team saved the day by giving me the know-how and support to tackle replacing my entire 18 year old DSC system with no prior experience. The home we purchased 3 years ago had a very old alarm system installed in **** by a one-man company from an hour away. It became extremely difficult to get him to come out for problems or upgrades. He had also put in his custom installer code so there was no way to modify the existing system without his help or reprogramming it entirely. Our smokes and COs were all original and needed replacement. Local alarm companies would not do any installation or upgrade work without being locked into a multi-year higher cost contract. I found AlarmSystemStore.com when I was looking for a dual-path communicator and realized they could help me replace the entire system myself. So I sent them details of my existing system, sensors, zones, and equipment and they helped spec out what I needed to buy. I bought their ******************* so the board came pre-programmed. That saved a lot of time. Their installation videos were VERY helpful and they were always responsive to help with wiring or configuration questions. I was able to upgrade to the latest DSC system, upgrade a dozen smokes to combo smoke/CO devices, easily add some additional zones, convert from landline communication to cellular with internet backup, upgrade the voice driver, and add a second speaker all for less than it would have cost me just to have the original installer update the smokes on the old system. More importantly I am free from being locked into any single company and was able to lower my monthly cost while upgrading my level of service. I also know they are there to help if any issues arise. It was a complete home run. The AlarmSystemStore.com team made it all possible and are great to work with!

  I am a long time customer over 20 years using **********************. They have always been extremely responsive to my questions and stock nothing but professional quality equipment. I've been using their monitoring and the central station they use has been excellent to deal with and very personable. I just started using the newer Alarm.com based equipment with a recent panel swapout and so far I am very impressed with the automation of all my Z-wave lights, locks, and garage door opener as it integrates with the security panel. I'm so glad they survived the Covid era and tough economy, as I really prefer supporting the Mom and Pop operations over the big box names for my security needs. Keep up the great work!

  My first purchase was in 2010. However, this was my last. Poor customer service. Some products are of inferior quality and are made in *****. Until you install a part, you won't find out that it doesn't perform to standards. Of course, at that point, the product is not returnable so you are out the return shipping and product cost. When they receive returned defective parts they claim they are fine when they tested them. I can't continue to do any more business with a company doing business this way. I purchased replacement items from another company and these worked fine without any adjustment or troubleshooting.

  This review is not entirely accurate, but I will let our 25+ year reputation and many other highly positive ratings and reviews speak for themselves. Customer did return 3 like items believing all 3 were defective. Tech support indicated to customer that is highly unlikely but customer did not wish to troubleshoot. An RMA was issued and the parts were returned. None were found to be defective and the customer desired a refund only. Despite the fact that none were defective and none were in resalable condition either because customer drilled multiple holes in them, we still without question issued a 100% refund on all 3 the same day. I'm not sure what we could have done differently and have no idea as to what promped this review. We reached back out to customer to inquire but got no response.

  It is not true that I the customer did not want to troubleshoot the parts. I did call twice and spoke to the technician for over twenty minutes. I could not make them work after two hours. I purchased replacements from another store and installed those and they worked perfectly out of the box. The holes are required to allow the passing of wires into the device. I also had to pay return postage which is an additional loss. When the customer has to waste so much time on a product it is not worth ever doing business again.

  Great web site, product selection and system information. Shipping prices are extremely high. No free shipping for orders over $200. Quoted $30 for 6 DSC wireless door sensors, *** ground.

  Alarm System Store did a amazing job. I came to them with specific needs and they were able to build me a system and program for me. It was delivered very well packaged and the install went smooth with no issues what so ever. I also purchased my monitoring service with them and it went just as smooth getting the system to communicate with the central station and apps up and running
