  We hired them to replace a couple of our patio doors. Our doors were not of average size so had to be special order. The doors seem to be well made & they fit well without much alteration. We would hire again.

  Cronkhite has done a few jobs for us. Rory has been our contact each job. He has been very helpful. He was able to find quality materials within our budget. We plan to have them bid on another job this spring.

  I had a meeting with Rory B***** today about buying windows and doors. He was absolutely the best sales man I have ever dealt with. Wonderful experience. I highly recommend him. Oh, I bought my windows and doors today from Rory. Thanks again Rory for not putting pressure on me Phyllis

  Let me start this by saying I have never filed a complaint or would I unless it was justified. I believe in giving people a second chance to fix issues. We hired Cronkhite Home Solutions in the spring to install vinyl siding and soffit and fascia on the second story of our house. The main level is brick. We had cedar siding and soffit and fascia on second floor which was starting to rot and let critters in the attic. So the salesman comes out and walks around the house and gives us an estimate. Somehow he measures everything to give this estimate without a ladder. Which is impossible to get accurate numbers without a ladder. We decided to go ahead and go with them because we couldn’t get anyone else to even call us back. So after the work was completed, we ended up getting bats in our garage attic. Remember, everything was just redone. I climbed up and sealed the holes and gaps myself. Then they found another spot on the house soffit/fascia. Reached out and had the salesman come out and he said he would get right on it. Almost 5 weeks have gone by and nothing has been done. He didn’t take the time to walk around and check to make sure everything was sealed up even after I expressed my concerns on other issues. Just got excuses in return. This was the reason for hiring this company was to seal the house up. I decided to caulk the gap up myself. I will never recommend or hire this company again. Pretty sure they sub contract the work out. When one of the guys shows up in flip flops every day to do siding on a second story, you know there is going to be problems. It was a nightmare from the get go. We paid a very large amount of money to have work done. I understand problems arise. Fix them and make it right!

  This is my second review of Cronkhite Home Solutions. The original was unfavorable for valid reasons, but Cronkhite went to great lengths to make up for the shortcomings and provided a satisfactory end result.

  This review is for the way that Cronkhite responded when we contacted them after our deck was built. The crew who built the deck did not build it with the high quality we expected. When we called Cronkhite to tell them what we had experienced and sent photos, they were very apologetic and sent their repair specialist, Fred, who did an amazing job making it look much better and even added a drink rail at his own expense. I don't believe that Cronkhite knew that that particular crew would take the shortcuts they did, and I got the impression that future customers will not have this crew working at their house.

  Ron sold us a new patio and deck in July 2023. The patio was started last fall and finished this spring. The deck has FINALLY started in June 2024. The problem is that they come for less than 2 hours a day and making progress at a snail's pace. When the project began, they loaded up my driveway and yard with their materials which have now been sitting over 10 months. This has been inconvenient at the least, and destructive to my yard, as well as frustrating beyond belief. I've contacted them several times, and it seems no one has any idea what the others are doing. There is no communication to the customer, and they won't commit to a timeline. The deck that they are building is for our swim spa which has been inaccessible since last fall when they started the project, a project that should have taken a few weeks, not a year. And then there's the bit about taking down a load bearing support from the overhang on the patio and then claiming it wasn't load bearing, so they had no plans to put the support back in place. I hope they plan on paying for the damages when the roof collapses. Then I made the mistake of ordering a storm door from them a few months ago. That has yet to arrive and, again, no communication. The only good thing I can say is that the patio they finished this spring seems to have been done well, however, I cannot recommend anyone do business with this company.

  Ryan did an amazingly complete job. He was on time and very conscientious. I would hire Cronkhite for any job needed.
