This is the worst battery warranty experience I've ever had. My battery's lifespan has halved since purchase. I contacted support and was instructed to take my mower, battery, and charger to ****** for servicing. After a week, they claimed it functioned properly, suggesting I might be mowing ****** thick grass, causing overheating and shutdowns. However, I mow regularly at an average grass length without overheating issues; the battery simply doesn't last as long. Upon retrieval, I received a different, used charger. I reported this to Ego, along with the persistent battery issue, and was told to retrieve my original charger from ****** and await further contact regarding the battery. ******, however, lost my charger, and I've received no further communication from Ego. Attempts to seek help via their website have been futile. As a customer, I'm extremely disappointed, especially since the battery is under a 5-year warranty, and it's been less than three years.

Horrible company. Service is terrible!!!! Purchased an electric chain saw and after a few months it stop working. I had to travel 1 hr to have it serviced. After 2 weeks was told it was n to repairable and they were contacting EGO for a replacement. This all started 5/2/9/2024 it finally got approved on 6/6/24 finally got management approval. Called twice and told that they were waiting on product because it was out of stock. Now this is over a month and still nothing. DO NOT BUY FROM EGO.

BUYER BEWARE - very poor customer service!! Shoddy products. Paid $800 for a self propelled electric lawn mower 5 years ago from ********** who no longer carry their products. Lawn mower quit 10 days before 5 year warranty expired . Probably RELAY system. Thought only the battery had a three year warranty so called ********** initially and after a few calls there, they stated they wouldn't fix it. Then watched a complex ******* video but beyond our skill to fix. Called company finally who supplied a repair place 1.5 hours away who refused to repair anything not purchased from them. Called EGO again and called another repair place they supplied which was 3 hours outside of *******, ** where we live. They were unable to provide service as understaffed, well could get to it by Christmas! Called a third repair place supplied by the last dealer, also 1.5 hours away.....unable to do the repair for 3 months. Called Ego a fourth time and was told we should have called the day the product broke as now a week or two had past since the warranty expired so they could not repair it, give us a replacement or supply a service dealer within the province. LANDFILL! *******.

I would not buy products from them, only after having their weed eater a year the product broke, after set up an account for the warranty I got two different answers on whether or not it was covered. then they denied the coverage after taking to their approved service center at northern tool by the way charges 60$ even if it's covered under the warranty. no wonder they don't have an account with ********************. the reviews are horrible. should have looked here first!!!!!!

Horrible customer service. I bought an Ego trimmer at Ace, the bump-out string release didn't work, after several trips back to Ace I was told by Ego customer service they would send me a replacement head in 10 days/2 weeks. Five weeks later no part, and repeated calls to customer service give no estimate of when the part will be available, and no offers of any alternative, such as a refund or sending me a trimmer that works.

I just bought a new shoulder strap for my string trimmer... and have already a ripped shoulder pad loop. Quality control is not going in the right direction with EGO. ONE star. I had to contact the manufacturer (EGO) directly in order to receive a replacement strap. In order to obtain this $17 part I had to jump through hoops. I had to open 4 different case numbers, stayed on the phone for hours, each time was given different stories and finally at the end I was promised to receive the part but I had to wait 15 business days (read 3 weeks) before it would be send out. Products may be good but after sales in quasi non-existent.

I purchased leaf blower model# LB5300 which is their least expensive 56volt leaf blower. According to the specifications it should be just as powerful as a 40volt Kobalt and I can assure you it is not, close but not as strong and it is significantly heavier do to the weight of the bigger battery. So they are not utilizing all of the 56 volt power. This is a gimmick! The only ego blower worth buying is the most expensive one due to the weight ratio. Putting a heavy 56 volt battery and purposely not utilizing all its power is a joke!

I bought an EGO single stage snow blower 5 years ago. When operating it performs well and removers snow as advertised. However, that is where the goodness stops. In 4.5 years I have had three of these snow blowers suddenly stop working for no known or easily repairable reason so the average lifespan is 1.5 years. *** did replace the blower twice but refuses to replace the blower again on the latest replacement after it has only operated for a year and a half. Net net this machine is not up to the task of real snow removal and customer service and durability have been terrible. Not recommended at all.

VERY ************** WITHOUT SUPPORT IS AN EPIC FAIL. This company is EGO lawn tools, and the support is c*** Stay away. Most of the stories below feel like the identical nonsense they pulled with me. STAY AWAY. Next time Toro or Stihl. Harbor Freight seems decent, certainly for the money. EGO, charges a premium price and when my LM2160SP lost the self propel EGO's response:-Blame the warranty repair shop for not ordering the part. -Tell me the handle is on months and months back order. -Offer me a replacement DOWN GRADED model and tell me take it or leave it.-Return phone calls are an epic event, and if someone does call they know less than nothing. I will never buy another EGO product and as these fail I am done with them. To charge anything, let alone a premium price and treat people this way is absolutely disgusting. With all the 1 star ratings I am thinking class action suit. This shabby treatment simply cannot stand.

Purchased a new string trimmer, right out of the box the battery and charger were bad. Called customer service and got a smart mouth dude named *****. This person was rude made me feel like I was trying to pull a fast one on Ego, then he HUNG UP ON ME! This was so bad that I returned this Chinese made piece of junk back to Amazon .They don't supply an email address for you to contact them, ( not customer service) but some one in management .This whole thing was a very bad experience. **************** is the WORST I have ever had to do business with! A BIG NO recommendation HERE!!!
