    I work for a medical provider's office and need to call on occasion to work through more difficult claim questions. I have called this company a handful of times and have been hung up on 7 times, told that "the system is updating so call back in an hour" 5 times, and only once spoken to a person who even tried to help me. Even then they told me that my provider was not in network with Cigna Local Plus, and when I told them I had their credentialing information in my hand, which was fully current, they told me they needed to transfer me to a supervisor. The phone proceeded to ring for about 10 seconds before the call dropped.Absolute joke of an insurance carrier, 8 in 10 chance they'll be on the news for fraud within the next 6 months.

    If you can get your employer not to use this company do it. Called before getting testing done, was assured that it would be 90% covered. Was even given a reference number and told that the call was recorded so there definitely would be no problems having it covered. When the claim was submitted, 0% was covered. There reasoning was that that type of service was not covered and they gave me a reason code. Looked up the actual reason code in their manual. There manual indicated the test was covered. Resubmitted claim for review, they actually only covered about 10% because they misread the claim, resubmitted, this has been going on for months. I think they just try to wear people out so they give up and don't have to pay out on claims. Their customer service reps are very nice as they tell you they don't really get why they put the explanations they did on your forms though.

    Terrible Insurance...I paid out over 8k in premiums, they covered less than $350 of a $600 bill. Was the first time I used it since I got it, now I can't cancel for 6 more months and I have to pay the balance of the $600. Who Made out... NOT ME!! SCAM INSURANCE...

    Worst Ever RUN!! Too many dba's ALLY- FEDERAL LIFE-MULTI PLAN- ABA - NCE -GAP AFFORD- NO Dr's. In our area. 1 Closest is over 60 miles away and that office has never been apart of this group! No perceptions after we were told they would be covered 100%. Over 1 week calling and sending multiple email messages (no response) No Help Then when we do get ahold of them by calling from a different phone number... NO Help! RUDE! PUT ON HOLD MULTIPLE TIMES. while on hold a notification from our bank another pending charge from them STOLEN OVER $700.00 !!! NO HELP!

    1) why is it so hard to log into their website. They dont have you create a username you have to remember a long a** number they generate for you.2) the customer support is nearly useless 3) they fight you on covering anything. If you need prescriptions or surgery just know you wont get it until your conditions are dire or maybe not at all.

    This is the literal worst scam insurance I have ever seen. It is impossible to get ahold of any employee to discuss benefits. They do not cover the things in their policy that they say they will. This is a scam insurance company. They also participate with some company called 'teledoc' and I have used this service for medical care/advice when I couldn't see my doctor- I used it twice; one time it was fine, no complaints....other time the "Doctor" gave me medical information that I later shared with my pharmacist and primary care dr. and they both stated this was inaccurate information. It is terrifying to me that this company is allowing unqualified doctors to hand out prescriptions and give medical advice.

    OH MY GOODNESS RUN!!!!!Find other insurance - and pay higher premiums - doesn't matter how high. My husband has brain cancer and when you need them, it becomes clear. You have to call, get hung up on, transferred, hold, get hung up on but wait....you need the medicine to live!! Doesn't matter how sweet you are or patiently wait - they **** the life out of you! They require you to use specific pharmacies and they charge you HUGE copays for the meds. I've spent full days on the phone and many full days. Doesn't matter what your deductible is on paper- you pay what they require or no meds. No meds - you die!! Which helps them financially. Do they care - no!!!

    I hate to say it but the only reason I gave this company 1 star is because I had to choose 1. I do not have any coverage from them but they call my phone at least 15 to 20 times a day from different numbers wanting to review our benefits. I try to tell them to put me on their do not call list and they completely ignore me and keep telling me they want to transfer to a specialist. I keep blocking their numbers but they keep calling with new ones. It is totally ridiculous.

    Horrible, horrible company - stay away. Refused to pay a hospital claim because they did not know if we had another insurance. Impossible to reach them over the phone to confirm that we do not have another insurance. If anyone is going to submit a class action law suit - we will join. Allied Benefit Systems wasted too much of my and my husband's time.

    If I could rate this health insurance plan as negative stars I would do so. Allied Benefit System is the worst third party insurance I have ever experienced. Even though my medical is Cigna through them, most of the places I go are unsure of how to claim this insurance. It has been a nightmare using this insurance I 99% of the time my insurance never goes through even though it's supposed to go through. The help line is absolutely terrible with one being hung up on, transferred to nothing, and often spending more than one hour trying to find out the answer to something that can be done quickly. They need to be shut down and reported. Companies should not use this insurance plan for their employers as they will go mental in the process.
