Universal Windows has been harassing us with phone calls for over a week now. We get about ***** voicemails a day after blocking their number, asking them to remove our number from their call list on 6 different occasions and already had our repair fixed with another company a week ago. We have over 50 voicemails saved from 50 different employees leaving the same message word for word. BEWARE OF THIS ****/SPAM POOR BUSINESS!

I ordered all new windows about 20, my whole house. From the beginning it was rough. Sales guys showed up and sold us windows then quit the next week. We had no salesperson the whole time, no questions were answered. All windows were to be tear outs, so there are 2 types of replacements, sales didn't cover that. They missed multiple windows and ordered multiple wrong sizes and installed multiple wrong. It was a mess from the start. It has been almost a year, and we still haven't fixed anything. I still had to pay in full before they would fix ANYTHING. I do not recommend if you are needing more than 1 or 2 windows. There are so many issues and now to fix all the current problems, and set up more and more appointments, and some windows do not close. FIND A DIFFERNT COMPANY. They wouldn't credit my account anything even though I have to put all this effort and more time to get these windows fixed because they messed up so much. I fully regret spending money here; I should have done the windows on our own. THEY DO NOT DESERVE 32K for this. I deserve a credit for all their mistakes.Universal Windows Direct of Chicago

I set up the initial visit for universal windows to come out and give me an estimate. They said if I had them come out the same day instead of a different day they would give me a $50 Amazon gift card for the same day visit for the presentation. I said okay. The representative came out later that evening and we did the full presentation. The representative was surprised I was just as knowledgeable about Windows as he was if not more so. I fulfilled all the requirements for the representative to be there. They then refused to send out the $50 Amazon gift card saying I didn't fulfill the requirements for the initial visit. I went above and beyond what was necessary for the initial visit and then had to call back six different times and talk with ******** and ****. They kept trying to say I didn't fulfill the requirements in order to achieve the $50 gift card. If this company has no intention of giving out gift cards for visits, then they shouldn't offer them. It has *** two days short of a month since the initial visit. They still refuse to give me the gift card even though I fulfilled all the requirements for them to come out and give the presentation. I was interested in the windows, but after reading the other reviews and the amount of grief I've got just based on this alone, I don't know that I'll be getting windows from them. One good customer will tell 10 friends. A bad customer will tell everybody about their horrible experience. If **** and ******** have no intention of giving out these gift cards than they shouldn't offer them....Universal Windows Direct of Chicago

Had sliding patio door and windows installed. Had service rep out three times for patio door. Still doesnt work right. Gave up. Screens arent removable. Had service rep come out he couldnt remove them. Good price, but unhappy with product. Would not recommendUniversal Windows Direct of Chicago

Wish there was a minus stars.We never recommend buying anything from these guys. This has to be the worst purchase I have ever made. I bought 25 windows and never got them all installed from over a year ago and they are drafter than my old windows with the only response being ww will have someone call you and now we will see in court what happens.Universal Windows Direct of Chicago
