Submitting my home warranty claim was surprisingly easy, and I was very pleased with how smoothly everything went. The company processed my claim quickly, and I received prompt payment, less the deductible stated in my policy. This positive experience has given me peace of mind. I also heard from a real estate agent that I could contact their dedicated handyman to take care of my home appliance repair as well. But considering I had a non working heater during coldest days of winter, I'm very pleased that the Home warranty agent told me I can use any certified HVAC repair expert in my area that was available as soon as possible. The agents are nice and all but I can't get any work done. My over the range microwave stopped working. Called to make a claim and they couldn't suggest someone so I was told to find someone. I was also told to call the number while the tech was at my house so they could talk to them. Long story short anyone that would come to my house would not take their warranty and I ended up cancelling the claim because it's cheaper to replace then to get it repaired, out of pocket. I'm still without a working unit and feel this policy is useless to me. What a waste of money and time.Home Warranty of the Midwest, Inc

I called Home Warranty of the Midwest relating to my garage door. The customer service *** recommended an area company to come out and evaluate the issue. When I explained that the issue was actually a safety concern, the company's tech came out almost immediately. The company put me in touch with was excellent. My fiance and I are first time home buyers which honestly can be really scary at times when we are so new and dont know the first thing about anything in the house! Home Warranty of the Midwest has been such an amazing choice for us. We were specifically looking for a home warranty that would cover an ADU apartment in the house with a second kitchen and second laundry and this has been the perfect fit. So far I have made 2 claims, one on a dryer that stopped heating and the second on my water heater that burst this morning! They have been there when we needed them and helped us through the step by step process.
