  Zip Moving and Storage are totally awesome. Incredibly reliable, reasonably priced, and super efficient. They worked non-stop and got me moved out, and in, without any issues. They also offered the best price out of everyone and it was easy to reserve a spot with them.I will hire them for every move from now on and I highly recommend them to all of my friends and family.

  Zip Moving and Storage was the first moving company I ever used and everything went great! My movers were the best and they couldn't have been better. They showed up on schedule, were communicative, and took good care of our belongings. They work very fast, without any damage to my property and my belongings. You can just sit and relax. Highly recommended.

  We have had to move long distances multiple times in the past, but our experience with Zip Moving far exceeded our expectations.The crew was very cordial and very hard working! We also experienced a few snafus due to the age of the building we moved into and they found ways to work around very big issues, demonstrating that not only are they big muscles but big brains! We were so pleased with the services.We also found it easy to communicate with them in the booking process (they actually take their calls whereas others I tried to call insisted I use email and still managed to mess up our inventory list so we dropped them). **** was friendly and confirmed all our details at the time. Also, online payment by link is super easy.So happy fate led us to Zip Moving and Storage. We would STRONGLY recommend them!

  ******,I thought the movers would re-assemble items they took apart but I have a fireplace with bookshelves missing shelves and the firebox. I have two televisions with no cords or interface boxes. I have at least ***** boxes that are unlabeled and thus I cant find anything.Things were boxed that couldve simply been covered and taped. Drawers emptied when I asked the cabinets be wrapped and moved. I knew there was no need to empty things in cabinets that were not breakables.The result is all of these boxes, disorganization, more time to be spent trying to place things back in cabinets.These practices resulted in items in the list not being packed. Specifically all of my outdoor furniture which was included on the list.My friends said I should share this. I think the team was great but language barriers and not adhering to my requests has resulted in my personal items being stuck between two homes.As of this review the company has neither returned phone calls, texts nor emails.

  Dear ****** and Zip Moving of MD/VA. I want to especially thank you for trying to make up for the moving dissatisfaction by offering me $630 to be received **** business days after I remove all negative reviews posted here, MyMove, Yelp and ******* Unfortunately, I am unable to remove them but I wouldve gladly increased the stars had the offer to make me whole not been made fair and square. Im struggling to fix the extra work your company caused but my honest review cant be bought..

  I wish I could upgrade my rating but in the end what happened, happened. I had a bad moving experience with this company but Ive never seen a company work harder to rectify the mistakes which occurred. It was strange as the move began well but midway the crew simply went off plan, leaving me in a lurch. My representative ******, after I have been in my home a week (swimming in boxes of dumped drawer items and unassembled furniture due to the movers change of practice with no hope because Im disabled and unemployed) continued communicating with me finally offering to refund the cost of the move. I really hope that it comes to pass so that I can finally transition into my home.

  I have moved many times in my life. I must say, Zip Moving and Storage is the best moving company Ive ever been involved with. They are attentive, reasonably priced, professional, fast and on time! They reach out prior to the move, and they keep you informed on the backend of the move and the frontend. They picked up my stuff super fast and they were very considerate and empathetic. I truly wish more companies practiced their philosophy! If you're looking for a local move or long distance move, Zip Moving is your mover!

  Smooth process throughout! From the moment my boyfriend and I first reached out, to the actual moving day, Zip moving team was professional and detailed. We were moving from Decatur to VaHi, from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom apartment. They made sure to treat each item with the care it needed. My leather chair, framed artwork, books and glass vases were super important to me and they really made sure it's all safely wrapped and packed. The quote was very reasonable and better than 2 other local companies I reached out to.I couldn't recommend them more. We will definitely use them whenever we decide to move again.

  I hired Zip moving for "White-glove service," to safely move my client's furniture to storage for a couple of weeks and bring it back. I paid $1830 for 2.5hr of work, and out of 10 items they had to move, they damaged 4. I complained to Zip Coordinator; she apologized and said the manager will call- The manager never called. I tried to dispute the outrageous cost for s***** customer service with no luck, so I am writing here. I want my money back because their service was a scam.

  We had a horrible experience with Zip Moving. First, we are missing numerous items like an extension ladder and framed artwork. So much furniture and personal items were damaged and our things were not treated with respect. Our walls were dented also. We paid for full packing but all of our stuff was just dumped into boxes including expensive artwork and family heirlooms. We have contacted the company numerous times and no manager or owner will even return our calls. I hope my review will help you before you are disappointed like we are. Beware!!! We will have to file a claim in small claims court to receive any type of refund for damaged furniture and personal items.

Since you have reported multiple damages,the claim has been forwarded to CSI for a professional estimate. As soon as they provide us with the stimate for the damages, we will be refunding the requested amount plus the charges for the packing, as a gesture of goodwill.
