Beware! This company has come to my house 3xs begging for our patronage. The last time was at 9pm on a weeknight, despite having private property, no trespassing and no solicitation signage visible. He begged. Things almost got serious because he refused leave after repeatedly being told no thanks, this is private property. Do not fall for their pushy sales tactics. Anthem came to my house one time. The guy haphazardly threw some sort of pellets all over my front porch, the walkways, and my back porch. I let them know multiple times that we had 3 indoor cats and there are neighborhood cats outside. Within a few days of tracking these pellets into the house, one of my cats died. A 5 year old otherwise healthy cat. After they promised repeatedly their formula was not at all harmful to pets, Ive found this to be completely untrue, especially after researching the ingredients. This company has persistently contacted me. Ive asked them to cancel my service and then I get no reply for weeks. Then, I get a call and repeat that I do not want the service and the ingredients were in breech of our contract. They still call me and think they are going to put these toxic materials in my yard. Ive been transferred to the cancelation department 2x now to cancel and no one answers. I get a voice message. They are harassing me after months. My cat died and yet Anthem persists on me getting this service. ****** it!! Just please cancel it. I have 2 other cats to think about as well as children. You lied to me about ingredients to begin with. Im so displeased with this service.Review fromSherry S

This company is THE ABSOLUTE WORST!! They showed up at my door, would.NOT TAKE no for an answer, badgered me into letting them take care of my.mice problem after pressuring me into a contract. THEY CAN'T EVEN GO UP IN MY ATTIC!! I want OUT OF MY CONTRACT FOR FREE.. AVOID this company!! There are WAY better companies out there!! Their services are literally half Hazzard to NIL!! Avoid Anthem Pest Control Atlanta Has Far Better Options I strongly urge anyone in the *******, ** area to avoid signing up with Anthem Pest Control. Their service has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing from the start. Despite being on a quarterly service schedule, theyve shown up twice within a 30-day period without confirming appointmentscompletely disregarding my time and schedule. A simple confirmation call or text would go a long way, yet they consistently fail to provide even that basic level of communication.Their actual pest control service? Subpar at best. I noticed no real improvement in pest activity after their visits, and their technicians seem rushed and disinteresteddoing the bare minimum, if ******* make matters worse, their billing practices are sketchy. Their invoice clearly states a 1.5% finance charge on unpaid balances after 30 days. For a $109.00 bill, that should be $16.35not the $25.00 late fee, I was told by *** was added on day 31. Thats not just a math errorthats borderline deceptive billing.This company appears to be run by individuals with little professionalism or business savvy. **************** is unresponsive, and any attempts to address these issues are met with *************** not fall for their aggressive door-to-door sales pitch this Spring. There are plenty of reputable pest control providers in AtlantaAnthem is not one of them.Take your business elsewhere. You'll save yourself time, money, and a huge headache.Anthem Pest Control, LLC

BEWARE!! ANTHEM takes advantage of elderly clients and signs them up to long term contracts without their knowledge. My mother called for a one time service for drain flies and was not happy with the service she received! ANTHEM has continued to bill her and has never entered her home again! After explaining the situation, they have refused to cancel her contract unless she pays them a cancellation fee that is more than continuing their nonexistent, ineffective service.Anthem Pest Control, LLC

That being said, I see that you are unhappy with the experience you and your mother have received with us. Since it sounds like you still have a pest issue, our preferred scenario is that you would allow us another opportunity to perform an interior treatment to effectively treat the drain fly issue. That being said, I do see some discrepancies on your account and would like to discuss it with you further in moving forward with the cancellation if that is the avenue you would like to pursue. As a result our technicians would not be treating your property with any spray treatments. For our termite services we install bait stations around the foundation of your property and then we annually inspect those stations for activity and rebating when needed. Absolutely the worst pest control company out there. Frauds and thieves. They make it so difficult to cancel and then purposely dont knock on the door when theyre there so you cant stop them from servicing the house. I came out just as they finished their 3 minute ******** job and now they wont let us cancel because we have a past due for billing. We tried canceling over text, phone and in person multiple times and they will not complete it. Go literally anywhere else.Anthem Pest Control, LLC

Upon reviewing your account, I can see that your original agreement has been completed and you are able to end your services with us at any time with a 30 day written notice as per the agreement. If account cancellation was requested within the 30 day period that your upcoming services were due, you are liable to receive the next service per the agreement. The last thing we ever want for our customers is to feel that we have deceived them in any way regarding the services they will be receiving which is why we make the effort to have 2 different employees explain the agreement prior to rendering the first treatment at your home. Each interaction is notated and signed by on both the Agreement and Contract Verification form regarding your responsibility as a customer to end services with us. I understand we live in a wooded area and we have bugs, but for an entire year we've had techs lie about coming to spray (we have cameras, dummies), not doing what they say, or just do a terrible job. We've been begging to end our contract for 6 months(they wouldn't allow it) and finally were told in August our contract ends after 1 more spray. My wife made it very clear, for the 6+ time that we do NOT want to renew our contract and expressed the multitude of reasons why-service *** said okay. Then out of nowhere, they showed up while no one was home on 10/31 and sprayed outside....now claiming we owe them money for a service we canceled and didn't ask for. Now they're claiming we had to call back AGAIN after the last spray of the contract to inform AGAIN we wanted to cancel....because we didn't, they AUTORENEWED our services and even though the service *** didn't say that, it's somehow our fault. I am so beyond livid and have never dealt with such terrible service. The customer service ***s are extremely rude and argue every time you call them. First, your claim that our technicians have not been servicing your home is extremely alarming and does not meet standards here at Anthem. I would like to look into this further with you to ensure that we do our due diligence and act accordingly from there. Next, you claim that you have had difficulty in closing your account. Again, this is not something that should be a problem in doing assuming that all requirements of the agreement have been met. I would like to look into this with you further and resolve this as soon as possible. This company is the worst pest control company I have ever used. The salesman said that I could cancel at anytime and after I wasnt satisfied with the third service I tried to cancel the service and was told that it would cost me the remainder of the contract. I didnt care just close to account. The services are quick the *** sprays the house in a hurry it took 9 minutes to service my 3200 square foot house. The *** said there was a fence there and he didnt want to go inside the fence if I wasnt home. When complained about the services they wanted to try and sale me a new package.Anthem Pest Control, LLC

We do this by ensuring that every new customer is explained the agreement not only by the sales **** but also by another member of our staff through our Contract Verification form. This ensures that each customer is provided details of their agreement twice prior to the first service being performed. The last thing we want is for our customers to feel that we have deceived them in any way so we make sure these 2 steps take place prior to starting service at your home. Next, your dissatisfaction with the service. If I find that services were completed in 9 minutes, then I absolutely agree that we did not meet the service standards set here at Anthem. I echo all the complaints on here. I was lured in by a quick talking sales guy who was extremely pushy and even came back. Even though our neighborhood has a no solicitation policy and I ha ea sign posted. When the "schedule" service they send you a text and say they focus on the out side of the home and if you want inside service you have to call them to set that up. Then they will show up and do the outside work; which is totally ineffective; and you don't get the inside done. It's taken multiple emails, phone calls, and texts to try and get this cancelled. I locked my CC so they can't keep charging me, but they keep trying I have 5 attempts where they are trying to change me $240 for cancelling. Also they are so poorly run they don't even have record of when they did their services. This company is predatory and fraudulent, oh and did I mention their products done even work. This is why we require that all new customers are explained the agreement no less than twice prior to performing any services at your home. At that point, we have done our due diligence to ensure that you are aware of the agreement you have entered into. I would love to discuss this further with you if you have any questions. Next, you claim that the services are ineffective. Pest control is a process and in most cases, a general treatment every few months is enough for us to keep the pest issues at bay. That being said, certain homes can require additional treatments depending on the severity of the issue. I can see that you only had 2 services performed at your home which might be the cause of the issue. We simply weren't given enough time to get rid of your issues. I would love to look into this with you to ensure that services were performed correctly. You obviously signed up for a reason, and we would love to actually help rid your home of the pest issues.
