Everyone I met or talked to on the phone was very polite and professional! They gave us a detailed explanation of what needed to be done from mitigation to the completion of the job. The men that did the work always arrived on time. They are excellent craftsmen and it is obvious that they enjoy the work they do! They completed their work at our home in half the time we were expecting! We highly reccomend Southeast Restoration Group!

The Southeast crew were sent to fix and finish the incomplete migration from another restoration company. From day 1 they went above and beyond paying attention to every detail, handling everything professionally and courteously, and really showing that they care about the home owner. I recommend using Southeast for all your restoration and mitigation needs.

I would give negative stars if I could.. This was a horrible experience. **** approved our claim for flooding in ******** but they didn't begin work until after ***** **. On ***** **, they moved all of our furniture out but didn't begin work for another month. On six separate occasions, neighbors had to come and lock our home because the SE Restoration people had left it unlocked. I provided a video to Matt of him leaving the house and he said he came back and locked it, however if he did, he was invisible to the two separate cameras (including the doorbell camera) aimed at the front door. Bottom line, Matt lied. Had he simply apologized, I would have dropped it, but it was an ongoing problem. They damaged the hardwood floors in one spot, however now Matt claimed that the gouge in the floor was there from the very beginning, but then he also denied they had left the door unlocked on six occasions. While there is a dark spot in his photo, taken from at least 15 feet away, there was not a gouge in the floor. Our housekeeper and our friend who helped cleaned the floor when the flooding occurred all swear there was no gouge, and it must have been done during the "repair" process. When the floors were sanded, our appliances were not covered and therefore we had to hire someone to come in and clean the dust that coated literally everything in the kitchen and pantry. The initial date for us to move back in was **** ** but it was not until **** * that we were moved back. This project should have been completed in a month, maximum, if the project manager was even remotely competent. If you want your property respected and honesty from your contractor, this is not the company for you.

Friendly, helpful employees: estimator, foreman, office staff. Very timely in responding to questions, willing to meet with insurance adjuster, and roof shingle replacement work was completed on time as promised! Their workers also did a good job of clean up!

What started out as a positive experience turned into a nightmare. After our wood floors were finished, we started having issues of sealant lifting several months following the completion of the job. Many text and messages via phone were left for our "project manager" with no return call. Now 2 1/2 years later our floors look terrible and are not holding up. Prior to having Southeast Restoration refinish our floors, our original floors did not have any issues for 16 years. Now they tell us the peeling finish is normal wear and tear. We hired a certified inspector that confirmed issues with the whole finish application. Southeast Restoration is not standing by their work. They tried to initially blame the issues on humidity (debunked), washing floors with water (debunked) and wear and tear (debunked by our inspector). Other issues: paint splatters all over the garage where their contract folks painted, wall with a hole where it was not repaired in the room with the damage, paint on ceiling lights from the painters being sloppy. Southeast Restoration's response to us recently was why we did not report these issues earlier. Our response to Southeast Restoration is that we tried so many times and were totally ignored for 8 months after the completion of their work. Their motto of "restoring lives" is just that, a motto. Now we are left with wood floors that will need to be sanded and finished on our cost, after they took our insurance money with no intent to honor their work. Disappointed. We thought we chose the right company but are disappointed.

SRG takes a great deal of pride in our customer service and stands behind our workmanship warranty. So much so that we mail every customer a letter with the contact information for their Project Manager, a supervisor, the General Manager, and the main office. *************** Project Manager left the company to pursue other interests shortly after completing her project. It is standard practice for the voicemail to be changed to let anyone calling know that the number is no longer in service. *************** should have received this voice message when she called, but unfortunately, there is no way for a text message to be seen or returned for a number that was discontinued. No calls or email were ever made to any of the other contact information provided to the customer, so we had no way of knowing if there was an issue. The first call we received was in 2022, over two years after the completion of the project. Once notified of the concern, a supervisor inspected the property and agreed to address the concerns with the paint work even though a significant amount of time had passed since the completion of the project. The cause of the issue with the floor was inconclusive, so it was communicated to the customer that we would take care of the issue if it was determined to be a workmanship issue.A ****************************************) accredited inspector was hired at SRGs expense to determine the cause of the white lines in the flooring. His conclusion was that the floor had high humidity in the areas where the white lines, which also correlated with the areas of foot traffic. He noted some other potential causes, but none of them were due to workmanship. Our General Manager spoke to the customer and offered to send a copy of the inspection for her to review but she was not interested in seeing the facts of the report, and escalated the complaint to her insurance company. The *************************** for her insurance carrier agreed that it was not a workmanship issue and closed the complaint. SRG spent a great deal of time working to find a resolution for the customer and regret that we were unable to resolve the customers complaint.

Untruths. Our project manager at the time still had his cell which was our way of communication. We never received any contact information of others in the company and his cell never noted an employment change and the number was not discontinued during the 8 months we tried to reach him following the completion of the project. In 2022 another representative came out, tried to debunk the issues with the floors blaming dogs, washing floors with water, all that was debunked. The inspector hired by SRG would not look at all the areas I had concerns with nor explain what he was looking at. We too hired a certified inspector and the damage was verified as issues with the workmanship. Humidity readings were taking by both inspectors and the humidity reading was well within the guidelines as normal as per the reports. Interesting, the stairs were not refinished by SRG and we have never had issues with peeling sealant. I am sure it can be agreed on that there is more wear and tear on stairs than anywhere else. The manager was supposed to mail the inspection report to me and did not. We did not receive their report until we had to involve our insurance company. The report did not address most issues that were of our concern as he also did not inspect the entire floor that we are having issues. During 2022, it would take calls upon calls before someone would reach out to us from SRG with our concerns and visits had to be rescheduled at the last minute. Follow up is poor at best with this company. The workmanship was subpar at best. No new floor starts peeling soon after application. We have pictures upon pictures with issues to prove this. What SRG failed to mention is that when agreeing to work with our said insurance company, they are bound to a 3 year warranty which they failed to mention above and we are well within the 3 years. About the issues with the paint and their now willingness to address the issues, when I spoke with the supervisor of the gentleman that came out to our house to look at our concerns, the supervisor said he knew nothing about our paint concerns with the other damage. Now I see they were willing to address it? I wonder when they will reach out to us to schedule this repair. As of the last 5 months in 2022 we have yet to receive a call from SRG to redo the paint. On the subject of white lines on our flooring, there are none. Our concerns are peeling of sealant, warped wood, peeling where the wood slabs meet and darkened areas on our floors where the damage originally occurred with water. None of this is listed on "their" inspector's report. The insurance used a mediator to try to resolve the issues and based the conclusion on only SRG's inspector's report and not our report that was generated by a certified inspector. SRG did not spend time resolving this. Two quick visits where no pictures, no notes and no follow up was done until we pressed SRG with many calls (just like the first time we worked with them). Very disappointing. Will be happy to provide pictures. Do not recommend SRG as they contract the work out to many vendors and do not back their work. Also very tacky on SRG to use my name here as this is not to be used in this forum, only initials.

This is the worst experience I have ever had in my life. Our house flooded and Southeast came highly recommended. We have been waiting on the completion of our restoration but we will have to find another contractor. The work that has been done on my house is some of the worse craftsmanship I have ever seen. The work was done poorly and looks worse than before they started. I have not heard from anyone for two weeks on continuing work. I would not recommend this contractor for anything, there has been zero communication from the job Forman and if I did hear anything from him he never followed through with anything he said. I am 20 weeks into a project that could have been done in about 6 weeks. When they did show up to work they used materials I purchased for another part of the house and use my saw to cut it. When the guy came to paint and install cabinets he complained about painting and didn't bring any help my daughter and wife had to help him move stuff in place. If I would have known we would have had to go through this much torment I would have definitely picked another company. I'm not sure how they got high recommendations with the work and lack of communication I have had. If I could give them a negative or less than a 1 star I would. I will have to say the only way I have had anything done in my home was because of the office staff bugging the job Forman, if they would not have pushed him I would probably still be waiting on any kind of work to be done. If the people doing the work was as persistent as the ladies in the office this would be a great company. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT THE WORK DONE TO BE QUALITY AND TIMELY.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We acknowledge there are opportunities for improvement on our end. We understand that our efforts to resolve a specific scope of repairs following the customer's initial requests for additional personal work, outside the original insurance claim, took longer than was desired through multiple requested revisions. With the homeowner electing to self perform work during the course of insurance repairs, there was overlap in material and tool storage that caused some confusion for the trade partners performing the work. This has been addressed with the trade partners and the customer. There is no excuse for the lack of effective communication and this has already been used as a coaching opportunity for our team. Despite speaking with the customer on 7/**, this is the first we've heard of any issues with the workmanship, which will be happy to review with the customer and address accordingly. The remaining work has been identified with the customer and has been completed, with the exception of one specialty trade who has been out on annual 2 week training. This will be completed as soon as the trade partner returns and complete the scope of repairs. We are grateful for the opportunity to improve provided by this feedback.

Our kitchen cabinets fell in the middle of the night. Our insurance carrier referred us to Southeast Restoration and using them was the best decision that we could have made. Our Project Manager was amazing and the various vendors that he utilized were timely, meticulous in their craft and trustworthy. We are extremely pleased and feel like we are in a new home! We highly recommend Southeast Restoration for any of your home replacement needs.

I was thoroughly pleased to receive the professional and detailed assistance needed during this unfortunate occurrence. Nicolas/Matt did an exceptional job from beginning to completion.
      I highly recommend this company!
