Awful company to deal with. I have been a customer since 2019 and purchased a new phone. Was never told that I would have to keep it 6 months before it can be unlocked. I switched companies this month and now I have a brand new phone that is worthless. They said I had the phone active for 3 days and then switched phones to my old phone which is not true. Was told I would have to activate service again with cricket for 6 months then can unlock the phone. Woman I spoke with in customer service had a hard time understanding what I was asking for and didn't have my information correct. She just kept saying there is nothing that can be done.Review fromAlisha P

Went to cancel account and find out they had overcharged for the plan. So their a credit on account. Call customer service and they said I could not get refund. Been paying over every month because that the price that was quoted. The customer service representative said they must said wrong price. I pay by internet every month and feel.if I paid in cash they would have pocket the overage.Review fromNancy F

Tried to port out my phone with a plan bought online, continued to try to get chat help they kept telling me it was Spectrums issue. After 2 hours and no help from Cricket. I only was getting help from ********. Who told me my phone was unlocked and ported out so there shouldnt be an issue. I called them back telling them cricket said its them. The *** said it wasnt but would help because my phone wouldnt even place a call at that time yet seemed to be connected to cricket. After about 45 mins i told spectrum to just take the number back. I wasnt getting any help from cricket and not dealing with the issue. I wasnt back up and running after about 20 mins. Phone back and fully functioning after about 2 or more hours. I called cricket for a refund at least 3 times with no refund. They claim they cant.NEVER GO NEAR them again. If I only went in to half of the situations with the customer service i dealt with its mind blowing. The one that I asked for a refund 6 times he kept trying to reconnect me I literally had to type on the screen 4 times REFUND. He then said well I cant give you a refund. Kept me on the phone 30 extra minutes s******* around. Then I asked for a manager he wouldnt get me a manager messed around for another 25 minsReview fromshelly g

I have been a loyal Cricket Wireless customer for nearly 12 years. Recently, I discovered that I had been charged for a hotspot data line that I had not used since October. I visited the Cricket Wireless store located at ***********************************************************************************, where I was assisted by a male employee named ***** and a female employee whose name I do not recall.***** informed me that I could bring the device to the store and he would remove the hotspot line from my account. However, instead of canceling the line as requested, he only suspended it. As a result, I was continuously charged for this unused service for four months.Over the past two weeks, I have contacted customer service multiple times, but each time I was asked to wait 15 to 30 minutes while my statement was reviewed, without any resolution. I am not requesting a refund; I simply want my account corrected to reflect the changes I initially requested. For four consecutive months, I was charged $189.00, when my actual bill should have been $123.00. I find it unfair that I was overcharged for a service I was not using, and I believe Cricket Wireless should work with me to correct this issue and ensure my billing reflects the proper charges.I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to a resolution.Review fromAllen S.

Cricket wireless, hurt my company really badly by not porting my cellphone number! I have been a customer of ******************** since 2019. At first they were great, I had a good phone that lasted a couple of years and it was very easy signing up with them. However, I noticed a trend were it seemed like every six to nine months I had to buy a new phone. They would just stop working, ether the touch screen, or charger, you name it. It got to the point where I had literally a stack of dead phones on my desk! Cricket wireless was easy to sign up with but they don't offer you much, little to non, help with tech support or financing. Everything is straight dollar for dollar on any service or product. With that being said, I'll get to my complaint. I didn't want to have to keep spending hundreds on phones twice a year and wanted a company where I can get a phone on the spot for little or no money down and just add it to my bill. This is exactly what I did, I went to *******. Told them all this, and they got me a phone but couldn't get my number ported because, you can't get ahold of anyone at cricket via phone. I went in person 5 times and got the run around. The first two times, they acted like they didn't even want to do it! Every employee gave me a line of BS and the run around. They didn't even give me the number to call to get it ported. By this time I had already switched and didn't see the need to pay for two services. I believe they did this on purpose. Push me pass my due date so I have to pay them to have access to even try to get my number ported. It became so difficult for me that I broke down and got a new number. I'm a business owner and didn't have a working phone for a week! Now I have to buy all new shirts, company signs on my truck, website updates and even contact the state and *** info now thanks to them! It's easier to do ALL of that, then to get someone to port my number. They even said if I pay them, they probably won't even let me leave!Review fromKeith L

Cricket is twisted I prayed my full bill the the next day after cricket turns off my service then I had to pay 20 to get my service back on they say it's because I had added a 10 dollar ***** no service turns service off to add data but they turned my service off and charged me a reconnect fee because they turned off my service right after I payed my billReview fromKatarina M

Absolutely horrible service. ********* and ******** were so unprofessional. ******** spent the entire time talking and joking around about his personal life and ********* didn't even bothering helping us out. ******** failed to inform us that all sales were final regardless being in training or not. He sold us a demo phone that we had to come back 6 times for to get the service on and try to jail break it for an update. I asked to trade out the phone since it's already paid for and I requested my for my money back since I was sold a lemon of a phone that I can't do absolutely nothing on and was told no because "all sales are final". She wouldn't give me her higher up's number and she just didn't want to help me at all. Absolutely unprofessional.Review fromRyan H

They have the worst customer service. I had had ******************** for about 8 years through auto pay. I had paid my phone service for the month, and two weeks later decided to switch carriers. I called to let them know and she immediately disconnected the call. I went into the cricket store and found out she cancelled my service when I called. They wanted me to pay to turn my phone back on. I couldnt keep my number because she canceled my service. After a week, of going back and forth with them, I ended up paying $70 to them to give me my number back. Fast forward a few months- I wanted to use my old iPhone I bought through them, but the phone is locked. You cannot speak to anyone without having an active phone number. I used the app to chat with someone and they tell me to go to a cricket store to get it unlocked. They cant do anything or talk to anyone either. I reach out on chat again, and explain that I need the phone unlocked and the activation receipt ( shows I bought the phone from cricket) and they ended the chat. By LAW, they need to provide the activation lock/receipt, and they wont. I cant believe they can legally get away with this! I want my $70 refund and my phone unlocked
