    Software is cumbersome ad auto creates an account when checking out as guest. Just another predatory software cono0any forcing your hand rather than letting you join on your terms.

    We pride ourselves on an easy-to-use online ordering process and are disappointed to hear that was not your experience. Please note that while certain information is required to process an order, an account is not auto-created through the online ordering process, nor are consumers required to create an account with ********************** or its client to submit an online order. We do not understand your comment regarding being a predatory software company given that consumers can choose whether to create an account when making an online order, and likewise they choose whether to receive marketing messages from the restaurant client from which they are ordering.

    We still have a difficult time getting a refund and having our credit card off their system. It has been close to 2 months and after a confirmation from them, they still have my card information and has conducted no refunds as the company stated they would. Small-business owners should be aware about this when they choose to leave Popmenu. Go to your bank/card issuer and block them. It seems it is the only way as they have stated their policy to me -- "payment information cannot be taken off and we do not conduct refunds". The company software is user-friendly with few tweaks needed in its UI.

    Popmenu apologizes if there was any confusion regarding the customers transfer of ownership request. The customer was issued a refund for 2 months payment on June 3, 2024 and their credit card has been removed from the system. The site remained active for those 2 months and Popmenu continued to provide services. The new owner has not made any arrangements to continue the services. Popmenu will deactivate the account and turn off the website.

    Signed a contract for two (2) businesses, one a bar/restaurant and the other an ice cream manufacturer. After a few months, realized that subject company services were not suited for my ice cream manufacturing business contrary to my bar/restaurant business. After reviewing Popmenu contracts, it became evident that subject contract was one-sided and very restrictive. Since I prepaid the services for the two (2) businesses, I have requested a refund for the ice cream manufacturing business (over $13K) but to no avail, Popmenu has refused to refund my monies. Although we service six (6) ice cream scooping venues, we do not own these shops which are totally independent from my manufacturing facility. Popmenu was structured to service restaurant businesses and not manufacturing facilities, but Popmenu wants to keep my monies and justify their services for manufacturing which is more about greed than being reasonable. Popmenu should refund my $13K and also rewrite their contracts to be more reasonable instead of one-sided and inflexible. I'd like to warn all potential clients of Popmenu to thoroughly read their contracts and reconsider signing with Popmenu and going with other options or other organizations. Mahalo!

    We opened our restaurant in July 2020- right in the midst of the pandemic. Popmenu has helped us in so many ways! We signed up with them just weeks before our opening and we had no idea how much we were in need of their services. Looking back, we are so glad that we leaned on their expertise so early and we can't imagine where we'd be if we hadn't had them backing us. Not only did they have our online ordering up and running within weeks if not days, but we have also had positive experiences throughout our first 2+ years of business. This includes their customer service, online ordering platform, technical support, training, social media posting and more. Definitely a great team for any restaurant to partner with!

    I work for a restaurant group that has 3 locations in ************. I am in charge of our website and all menus. I work with a LOT of digital platforms in my position and it can get very confusing, technical, and extremely frustrating. I have to say that Popmenu is one of the BEST, if not THE best in customer service as far as quick responses, help in troubleshooting, and, at times, a 'team effort' if there is something we can not get to the bottom of, to ensure that we do! As many times as I have contacted them, they never made me feel like a pain in the ??... I have also noticed they are constantly improving upon or adding more value to their platform as far as restaurants' needs. The website can get a little tricky, but improvements have made it easier to navigate editing and updates.

    I have been using Popmenu for my restaurant for close to 2 years now and I cannot say enough great things about them. Opening up after 3 months of closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I decided to go with Popmenu to handle my website design, online ordering platform and marketing needs. Prior to Popmenu, we used an email service that charged us the same annual rate that Popmenu charges me and all that company offered was an email campaign! I have a dedicated account manager named ******* that offers marketing tips, helps me on my website, returns my calls and emails extremely fast. In a time where customer service is lacking, this company is knocking it out of the park with their customer service. They are constantly adding features such as a partnership with Doordash where, as a popmenu customer, I keep all of the dollars from my doordash delivery! That alone is worth the price of Popmenu! The best part is I am locked in to the initial price agreement and they keep adding features. I am able to post to my ads to ************************************** do my email marketing, adjust online pricing and availability, create events, discount codes, QR codes, digital gift cards, catering events and more from one site.     Popmenu has made updating the menu and online ordering system for our restaurant much easier as well more efficient. Someone from the customer service department has been readily available for assistance when needed.

    PopMenu has been in charge of the design and support of our website for about 5-6 years now. They are reasonably priced and the customer support is excellent for our small family owned restaurant. It doesn't take long for someone to return a call or email and they have ongoing updates and training of the website. We have no regrets for leaving another website designer and moving forward with them. I highly recommend them to other businesses.
