- Additional Info:National Consumer Telecom & Utilities Exchange (NCTUE) is a member-owned database, through which its member companies exchange information on new service requests, defaulted and/or fraudulent telecommunications, pay TV and utility accounts. Membership is available to cable, electricity/power, phone, gas, water and pay TV providers. NCTUE is managed by Equifax Information Services but does not include Equifax credit information. Equifax is not a member (owner) of NCTUE.
NCTUE maintains paid as agreed and defaulted information customers of telecommunications, pay TV, and utility companies. Consumers can contact NCTUE to determine if there is a file (information) on them and if so, to request a copy of it.
Colorado law requires that a consumer reporting agency, such as NCTUE, provide each consumer with a disclosure copy of his or her data report at no charge under certain circumstances. The NCTUE letter mailed directly to the consumer provides instructions for the consumer to obtain their free disclosure.
