      We went to ********* Home Depot to purchase some lumber to make a base for our new shed We took the time to pick out the wood which took some time because we needed help So after we finished with that we went over to the rental department to rent a truck to get it to our house Well when we tried to rent a truck APPARENTLY they have a new system called Clear that you have to go through this RIDICULOUS PROCESS on your phone in order to rent IT WOULDNT WORK!!! We tried for 20 mins!! We tried everything NO LUCK SO WE COULDNT RENT A TRUCK!! So we spoke to a manager and he was useless as well He says SORRY BUT WE CANT OVERIDE THIS SYSTEM What kind of business is Home Depot running A VERY BAD ONE!! So not only did we waste all that time trying to rent a truck But we couldn't get the lumber we needed for our project so there goes an hour of time wasted by a company that just doesn't care about there customers needs This is not the first time we have had issues there but this will be the last We are DONE with Home Depot Id rather go further away to a company that appreciates our business then deal with them anymore!!

      Bought a shower kit, when it was delivered, on paperwork, it said RIGHT pan, which is where our plumbing is. The sent us a LEFT.Called Home Depot, they had the right one delivered and picked up the other. Open box back wall of shower kit, its damaged on both corners, we call, they don't have anymore but Owensboro does, and said we could pick it up the next day. Mind you, we already paid for delivery $99. The shower we looked at had shelves in it, we told them that we didn't receive them. Oh, I'm sorry Mr. ******* the shelves are an additional $99. Because I was so upset about it, they gave me a $75 credit towards my purchase. I was ok with that until we drive to ********* to pick up the shower piece and it was also damaged. We had to get one a bit smaller because it was all they had. Which means, go back to ********** and take back the first we purchase for a refund. Now, this shower is time sensitive because my wife is having her knees replaced and she needs a walk in shower for safety reasons. I'm extremely disappointed in Home Depot on Pearl drive, they've always been our go to place for home improvements, but this fiasco has really pushed me over the edge.

      I visited Home Depot last night between jobs to pick up materials before an event. I left early to find what I ********* the ******************** an employee went to find **** ******, but he didnt notice me standing nearby. He used crude language and, despite being busy, failed to acknowledge my presence. Instead, he arrogantly insisted it was too late for help and told me to go home, even though it was only 7:15 PM and the store closes at 9 PM.When I requested a manager, a young woman came down but brushed off my concerns without checking with ****, leaving my questions unanswered. It was alarming that they had one of their employees ******* at me as if he might be violent.The next day, I spoke with the manager, ***, who was unhelpful and suggested I cancel my order and go elsewhere. *** mentioned that I should come in before the day shift leaves if I wanted assistance.Its unacceptable that I wasted my time prioritizing my flooring inquiry only to be told no help was available at 7:15 PM. *******, the Flooring supervisor, assured me my issues would be resolved, but I still haven't heard from him or anyone in the ***************** I called again since its been almost two weeks with no updates. ***, the assistant store manager, laughed at me over the phone, leaving me bewildered at how he holds that position.I also spoke with Mr. ********** another manager, and he seems willing to help. Ill keep you updated.

      On April 23rd, I put in a reservation for one of their box trucks for the following week. I had to put down a $150 deposit to hold that reservation (which is double what it costs to rent!), My son and husband took the day off to move my son's household. When April 29th came, my husband went to pick up the truck, and they didn't have it because they had rented it out the day before for two weeks! And that was it--Sorry! I went to look at my email for the reservation, and I found a new email that was sent that morning at 6am, (the day we reserved for) that they canceled my reservation! They didn't offer any help, so we had to scramble to find another truck, which we did in **********, *********************. So instead of having to drive less than 9 miles for our move, we had to travel over 25 miles, which added more time and gas to our rental. And then, when my husband turned it in, they were going to charge him for gas. He had filled up at our *********************, but then drove to *********************. It shouldn't have taken that much gas, after my husband filled it up, to have to pay the amount they wanted to charge. (Whereas the sign in the truck says $10, they were quoting a much higher price.) We will NEVER use Home Depot's rentals again.

      Ordered Boos Block countertops and sink. Incorrect sink was ordered. Incorrect size counter segment was ordered. Took 1 month to get correct size counter segment. Replacement counter segment arrived pre-sealed, which previous segments were not. Now counters segments do not match.

      Made two major purchases in August 2024. Appliances (range, microwave, and refrigerator) that were on a promotion of no interest for 24 months. Also purchased a kitchen makeover (refaced cabinets and new tile backsplash) that was on a promotion of no interest for 12 months. The statements did not differentiate between the two promotions but we were on schedule to pay both off within 12 months. After 6 months they added a $1,900+ interest charge to our account. After calling they agreed to extend the entire amount to *********************************************************************************** a favor by extending the period! It seems apparent that this is an apparent attempt to charge interest that should not be charged. This is obviously built into their accounting system. Be aware!
