I am so disappointed with the honey baked ham company. The specific store In ********** ********. This Easter I pre ordered and pre payed for a ham for Easter cause I was on call the weekend of Easter and I knew I wouldnt be able to cook. I picked a specific pick up time and date and I drove to the store which asked me for my order #. I was then told that they didnt have my order. I said what do you mean you dont have my order? They said i am sorry but we dont have what you ordered. I replied well what do you have and they replied nothing I said what do you mean nothing tomorrow is Easter and I have no meat and it is 4 PM the day before Easter. I was told that they could offer a refund but that didnt help me. I said why didnt anyone call me they said we dont have phones. What a terrible business practice. I said you do realize that tomorrow is Easter and I pre-paid for this and nobody called me and now I have nothing to feed my family that is coming over. Her response to me was well you should try walking in on the Friday before a holiday and I said I prepaid for this order. I ordered it. I set a pick up time and date, but you sold you a walk-in before me. how does that make any sense? She said we cook the day of and sell the day of. So I replied well whos orders are back there in the freezer behind you and she said well if I sell them to you then Ill make another customer mad well you obviously had no problem making me mad so I walked out of there 4 PM the Saturday before Easter with nothing no answers. I called honey baked hams customer service and was told Im sorry. That is it. Im sorry. Never will I order from them again! Terrible way to conduct business.The HoneyBaked Ham Company LLC

I am extremely disappointed in the service I received from this company this last holiday season. Honey baked ham has been a staple in our household for the last 10 years. Over the years weve picked up on tips and tricks to ensure we have a smooth experience. This year was by far the worst experience and I will not be ordering from the company again. I specifically picked up at the ************, ** location. Knowing how busy this location gets during the holidays we ordered and prepaid a month in advance and set up a pick date and time for Wednesday 11/27 at 10am.I took my lunch break early and anticipated waiting about 15 minutes (max) to pick up my pre order. When I arrived at the location the line was out the door. There were no signs for pre orders and I couldnt imagine customers who prepaid and pre ordered would have to wait in a line just to enter the facility. When I opened the door to see if there were any signs for pre orders the employee working the door yelled at me to get in line. I asked her if I needed to wait in line if I pre ordered she said yes, everyone has to wait in line. I then proceeded to wait 30 minutes to be let inside. Once inside there was another line I waited in to pick up my order. This took 20 minutes. By the time I got to the cashier, they were out of the size I ordered and asked if I was okay with a larger ham. I said yes, if thats all they had. I thanked them and left. Today I checked my credit card statement and they charged me an extra $30 for the ham. Had I known they would have charged me extra I would have not agreed to it. They had my credit card on file from the pre order and I never consented to the up charge. This is predatory behavior and I will not be bringing my business back to this company. I am extremely disappointed and will be actively sharing my experience with others so they dont fall into this same trap.The HoneyBaked Ham Company LLC

Believe someone is attempting to steal credit cards. I ordered a ham, paid, and picked it up on 27 Nov. My credit card has pending charges of .01, .00, and .00, on 26Nov and $18.79 on 27Nov all from HoneyBaked Ham #****. I have seen posts about individuals debit cards having same issue and stolen. Hope this company fixes this or this will be the last time I buy anything from them. Way to ruin the holidays.The HoneyBaked Ham Company LLC

*******, I left you a voice mail that explains the charges on your card at the store. The $0.01 on 11/25 would be the initial ***** **** from the web, followed by a $56.21 charge on 11/25. Then there would have been an $18.79 charge on 11/27 for the additional money owed when you picked up your product. We do not store credit card information for compliance reasons.If you have any other issues or questions, I would encourage you to reach out to the store manager for assistance. I put in an order and bought too many hams. I tried to call and cancel, and they don't allow you to. I even said, ok since you can't cancel, please change the shipping address so I could have it at home. They couldn't do that either. **************** was completely inept and didn't want to rectify the situation at all nor did they seem to care. Our law firm typically buys 8-10 hams for thanksgiving and Christmas. From here on out we will be looking to buy entrees elsewhere. Very disappointing.The HoneyBaked Ham Company LLC

I reached out and filed a complaint about slices of ham we had recently purchased and disappointed there was no sweet glaze. When I called the store in *********** and spoke to manager I was advised this was a company wide policy to do this - to slice it off. People didnt want it?? I thought that was the main reason we liked it so much. After contacting another store close by - the manager there told me that sometimes it can get hard so they will slice off and place in the bag for customer to enjoy but had not heard anything about the other being company wide. She agreed that was one of the things people love the most about honey baked ham. I ended up sending a complaint in thru Honey Baked and the email was forwarded to the local store. The assistant manager that replied was so rude and lack of professionalism was a complete joke and embarrassment to any company. She did not answer any of the questions and nor try to remedy a solution for the past visit. Please tell me this is a one time fluke and your company is not ran this way - otherwise we will not return all thanks to ******* in ***********.The HoneyBaked Ham Company LLC

I ordered a half ham for Easter dinner.I order every year for the holidays.I did not look into my bag until Sunday dinner.Big mistake,unwrapped the ham and the smoked turkey breast..There was no glaze and the ham appeared to be burned as well.The turkey breast was burned also and dry. My Easter dinner was ruined !!!! When i took the ham and turkey back the Monday after Easter to Honey Baked Ham in ********,**.,the associate at the counter seemed so indifferent.She put the money back on my card ,gave me the receipt and walked away. No Im sorry for the inconvenience or any thing. RUDE !!!! I was not the only person returning their hams.No explanation ,no contact from the company.I think I DESERVE some type of compensation for this inconvenience as well as other patrons.The HoneyBaked Ham Company LLC

Ordered for 96 year old mother having 20 guests Easter (3/31/24), in an area that did not have internet/cell service, online was a not available. Landline called & placed order, 2 hams (1-12lb, 1-8lb). Pickup Thurs-,3/28/24. Reaching counter, told to go to 2nd line. The latter for people who didn't place an order ahead of time, now we are in it. After long wait, did not have our order, and it was if we were ordering for the first time. Told no online order, wait with everyone else. Purchased the two hams they had available (not sizes we were told). One very good, the other was very dry (tasted old) and not spiraled. Prompted us to reply to an email from HBH about recent order.(didn't they just say they couldn't find an order)! Just received a phone call from HBH about my responses, reiterated them again. Was told that online ordering is HBH practice to provide accuracy with order. My immediate question "what if there is no internet or you are a senior citizen not knowing about computers or cellphones." HBH does not recognize this generation nor care, was told "that's the way it is." Also, he has never heard ham not being spiraled, offered to send what is remaining back to him, his response "that is not necessary." Obviously was since he never saw one. Continued with correct way should have been told to me over the phone, pay online, etc. Reading other disgruntled reviews, paying for what you actually get is a big mistake. All I got was sorry for your experience. My complaint was how he shrugged off a senior citizen that deserves more in life than HBH shoving rules & regulations to others who do not understand to begin with. No sympathy making them understand how he makes them feel. I never, and urge others to take a stand with this company, for lack of communication with orders,... more importantly that not all people are treated equal. .HBH should be ashamed of themselves. I have been a loyal HBH customer for 30+years. For the past several years I have purchase 1/4 bone in hams for associates who work for our company. This year I did the same and when I received mine noticed the 1/4 spiral cut bone in ham was 4.5 lbs (8 slices of ham and then the bone) for $79.99 + shipping (total $103). I was shocked and knew this would not feed the same amount as my hams have in the past. I looked at the website for I have always known I order the $79-99 ham that 7-9 lbs. Last years was just that, 9lb 1/4 spiral cut ham $79.99 +shipping. I look like the t*** because my associates received half the sized ham they had last year. I called customer service and spoke with ****** who was very kind but could only offer an apology. I mentioned I felt like this was false advertising for last year the web site quoted lbs and this year the site quotes how many it feeds (4-6 people). I'm not sure how 6 people can share 8 slices of ham as their holiday meal protein. I'm DONE because HBH made me look bad to my associates, I'm still hungry and it's bad business (I'm also irritated that I now have to boycott them based off principle for the rest of my life).
