Helping Hands Home warranty continues to pry on unsuspecting reverse mortgage holders. With unsolicited letters inferring that a home warranty that they never had is about to expire. I may be in my mid 70s, but I still know a "shake-down" when I see one !

They are bugging me with letters to pay coverage for repair/replacement costs. A requirement for reverse mortgage holders. "Final Notices" several times already. What can I do? So far, I have ignored them. Yesterday's letter said: Call IMMEDIATELY as this will be our FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU. I hope it is.This causes anxiety.

I have received 3 of their "Final Offers" in the last 6 months. As far as I know, a reverse mortgage doesn't require a home warranty. Their letters lead you to believe it does. This is a scam. I emailed them through the email address on their website asking for a verification that my name AND address be removed from their marketing list and data base. Let's see if they have any integrity and respond. They get 1 star simply because 0 stars isn't an option.

Helping Hand Home Warranty is a five star at scamming the elderly and wasting paper and that is about it. Every other week my ************************************************************************************************************************ foreclosure. This is taking advantage of the elderly and not right and I think it may be time for a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT.

Everything the other reveiws said. They mail threatening looking paperwork to reverse mortgage holders. This generally means seniors who they target with letters mentioning default and foreclosure. They use the name of the bank the mortgage is with (public record) and make it sound like you if you don't take their "Final Notice" offer right away you could lose your home. Disgusting business practice, preying on seniors. I call them from time to time just to tie up their reps. I figure for every rep I keep on the phone it's one less person getting ripped off.

They are a ****. Please read the comments below. They got my name an address off my reverse mortgage. I keep getting letters from them trying to get me to renew my hone warranty on my reverse mortgage . My reverse mortgage does not require I have this type of warranty. The language and wording they use in there letters is written to say this type of warranty is need when it is not required. This wording is hard to understand and is taking advantage of seniors that don't understand this.I have been receiving all kinds of notices in the mail for the last year. I have call them and they tell me I will be taken off their mailing list but it does not happen. I tried to call the number on the Helping Hand website but it was out of order. If anyone knows of a way to have the government look into their business they may see how their business practices is hurting all the seniors with reverse mortgages.

BBB's advertising review & the preceding reviews say it all. Helping Hand's ***** warning uses fear to trick folks into buying a warranty plan they don't need. What a scam!

These people are disgusting ! I received a sort of threatening letter in the mail and called them immediately. I was told by a VERY RUDE woman that they didnt serve CA and then hung up on me! I called the number twice more and was hung up on both times! Their staff must be hired from the bottom of the barrel with no people skills at all. I sent an email stating if they sent a letter or called me I would get in contact with the Attorneys General in CA and **!

Got a threatening letter using confusing language about my reverse mortgage. Had my bank info and all. Said I needed home warranty insurance or I was at risk of losing my home. I caught on after reading it twice. But Im sure they scam a lot of people with this tactic. A company using these methods should be put out of business.

My mom is receiving threatening letters from this company concerning her lack of Hpme Warranty coverage because she has a reverse mortgage. She is 96 years old and does not need this. "financial requirements for US consumers". I called them, asked them to speak with a manager and they hung up.. She said they were Helping Hands Warranty *** after I asked them who they were, she did not say when she answered.********************* ******************************************************
