As I read all the complaints against Helping Hand Home Warranty, my story is the same. We are getting letters from them almost weekly and each one says Final Offer. Although I assumed from the beginning that this a fraudulent company and I have not responded to any of the letters, this is definitely harassment that attempts to take advantage of a certain population. I have reported them to the Attorney General and will continue to seek additional ways to stop them.

Helping Hand Home Warranty is a legitimate business offering home warranty services. We apologize if our mailings were unwanted or caused concern. The "Final Offer" language refers only to the end of a specific promotion not a demand.

We have removed the complainant's information from future mailings and are reviewing our marketing practices to avoid similar concerns.
    Sincerely,
    Helping Hand Home Warranty

I hav4e been receiving these letters from this company for years, they all say " FINAL OFFICER or FINAL NOTICE " yet they still keep coming, they mention my Reverse Mortgage, like it is some how required to have this, and it is NOT. They even say in very small print at the bottom that "they are not affiliated with your current mortgage holder" Yet the letters just keep showing up every couple of weeks. They do work good for starting a fire in my fireplace though.

This is NOT a credible buisness. Its been 5 yrs since a member of my family passed and they are still trying to collect a home warranty under a different address with my deceased relatives name . Pure scam and harassing mail attempts. Beware and stay clear of this company .Too many different addresses and phone numbers.

I am a Heart Patient and it scared me so bad I thought I would have a Stroke. I didn't know what to do but take the Warrenty to save my home. I found out to late from the ************************ I did not have to have a Warrenty. Do I have to pay them anymore???? I had to give them ****** down. And starting the12 of December the payment is ******, I do not have this kind of money. Thank You,

this company just scammed my 97-year-old aunt as soon as she gave them her card number and hung up, she called them back to cancel and they told her that she can't cancel the payment. Never heard of such BS. She has contacted the bank and now has to deal with getting a new account and getting her $$ back from this company. Zero star rating.

This company should be ashamed of themselves. My 84 year old mother has received 3 of these letters and it has made her so worried. They are a scam and yes they pray on the elderly. How can these people sleep at night? This is wrong and they should be shut down. They do not even deserve the one star rating but had to rate them otherwise I would give them a 0 ********

Non-ending "EXTREMELY URGENT & TIME SENSITIVE - IMMEDIATE RESPONSE REQUESTED" maiilings at least once monthly to my 91 year old mother, which causes her concern and stress. The statement in their form letter: "This letter is to inform you that the property's home warranty, at ********** (not showing for privacy reasons), secured by ********************* may be expiring, or may have already expired."She has no need for their service and their letters come off as threatening and harrassing. If I could give them zero stars I would. They need to remove her from their mailing list AND DO NOT SELL HER OR MY PERSONAL INFORMATION to any other entity.

Every month my late mother, who incidentally died over 1 1/2 years ago, receives the home warranty for reverse mortgages. Funny thing is the address listed is not my mothers address but mine in a completely different state! Scammers!!
