I have received more than one unsolicited call from this company. They have all of my information including my ******** ID number. The first gentleman I spoke with said he was calling from Health and ***** Services. I challenged that but he kept insisting. Then he started asking about my pain. He asked if I have pain in my shoulders, legs, or knees. Of course I do, I'm 75. He then passes me to a "supervisor". He said they would send braces that would alleviate 80% of my pain. It just didn't seem right. I told him ******** doesn't make cold calls to ask about peoples pain. I then asked him what company he works for and he said Health and Life Networking. He then said they contract with ******** and they process all of ********'s claims. I denied the braces. He then asked if I have rheumatoid arthritis. I said no, I have osteoarthritis. He said it was the same thing. He also he was sending me a new ******** card. He said he was transferring me to someone else to have them send me a test for autoimmune diseases. He said NOT to tell them he was sending a new ******** card and I had to tell them I have rheumatoid arthritis. I didn't lie so of course I didn't qualify for the test.I know for a fact he lied multiple times during our conversation. I personally do not think this is a legitimate business. The thing that concerns me most is the fact that he knew my name, birthday, address, and my ******** number. They are representing their company as being affiliated with Health and ***** Services, which seems like a legal issue. I just don't know what to do next.
