  Beware of this company. As a retired US Air Force veteran of age 70, I paid a $838 deposit to move a piano. Two non-English-speaking men came to move the piano, and they said it had to be professionally dismantled first, and they left. I called Moving Solutions and requested a deposit refund since I wouldn't pay someone else to dismantle the piano as I just wanted the piano moved. The company told me that would not be possible. Note: The truck that arrived to move the piano had no materials to assist with moving, such as straps, ropes, blankets, etc. Only two men to move an 800-pound piano. The truck had no lift gate. This company had no intention of moving a piano, and the pickup truck and two men were not prepared or equipped to do so. Trying to look up this company online and find their address and phone number was challenging and frustrating. Since they didn't move the piano, I should have gotten my $838 deposit back.

  The truck that arrived was equipped with a piano board as standard practice, which is specifically used for transporting heavy items like pianos. However, removing a piano from a basement requires hoisting equipment (such as pulleys or winches) and additional labor. This specialized service falls outside of a standard move and requires advanced notice, as outlined in our terms and conditions.
  The $838 deposit covers the costs incurred to dispatch the truck and crew to your location, which did happen as scheduled. As such, the deposit cannot be refunded, as the service you booked was initiated, and costs were incurred on our end.
  Its important to note that pianos requiring dismantling must be professionally disassembled beforehand. This is a standard requirement to ensure the safety of the item, the property, and the crew.
  While we regret that your expectations were not fully met, we acted within the scope of the agreement and provided the necessary explanation at the time of service. If you would like to reschedule the move with the appropriate notice and preparation, we remain open to assisting you.

  These so called movers are scammers! They quoted me a price of over $7,000.00 at first. I wasn't interested so they went down to over $3,000.00 and I still wasn't interested. He kept hounding me and pressuring me so I hung up. He kept calling and texting me harassing me and calling me names. Very unprofessional and very rude. The guy kept calling from a ******* Illinois number though they say they're based in *********************. Don't deal with these people. They are scammers and when you're not interested they'll harass you to no end. This was on Nov. 7th and it's Nov. 11th and he called me yesterday again to harass me. And you can't call the number back.

  Believe the bad reviews. I contacted them to get a quote for my parents who were moving from 1 state to another, approximately 4 hours away. *** was very aggressive on the initial call and said that they had a first time call discount and if I hung up then that discount would go away. The initial quote as under $3000. They contacted my parents a week before the move to get an updated inventory list. The price went up $1000 which is fine because the inventory list was more accurate. However, the day of the move comes and we reached our 800 cubic square foot estimate apparently and they had not even loaded half of my parents items. So they give us another estimate that we need an additional 450 square feet which is going to cost another $2600. They initially give you a low ball quote and lock you into a contract and then when they load your items your quote with at least double. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM LIKE WE DID! I know its just an estimate but the estimate should be somewhat accurate if the inventory list is detailed. They blamed the difference in the size of the furniture. No its their system that apparently estimates the cubic square feet that will be needed inaccurately.

  The price of our move continually increased throughout the entire process. When the movers came to pick up our items, they informed my husband that we had been quoted for 1200 cubic feet. If we exceeded that, it was going to cost us an additional *****k dollars. We ended up having to leave our belongings in the garage, renting a separate U-Haul, and move the rest ourselves to avoid additional costs. I also had a two week old baby at the time. It was absolutely devastating, and when I spoke with customer service she seemed unaware of the issue. I was originally quoted for $6400 and we ended up playing over $9000. I am still waiting on a review of the move, but I do not recommend using this company.

  The company truly don't tell the truth. When I booked the company and received a quote I asked will there be any additional fees. I was told no. When they say arrived for me move I was quoted an additional ******* to complete my move. When calling the company I was rudely directed to customer service where I was informed that I had to pay the additional ******* on top of the ******* deposit and the balance should have been *******. so the total cost of the move went from ******* to *******.

  DO NOT USE. Moving Solutions subcontracted our elderly parents' move to another organization without any warning to us. The subcontracted company showed up four days late and then went *** on the move, with the numbers provided disconnected. We reached out to Moving Solutions for help to contact the company they subcontracted with and **** ******* did not respond to multiple emails or calls, only finally texting me when I threatened legal action. At that time, he still refused to provide me with the contact information for the organization Moving Solutions had subcontracted with and simply told me to call their customer service line. My parents, who moved across the country to live in a memory care facility closest to my oldest sibling, still do not have their belongings and nobody at Moving Solutions will communicate with us. So heartbreaking for my parents and such bad business practices.
