  Same as many others....quoted a low price, paid the deposit and when the subcontractor showed up they wanted 2x the amount quoted, saying that Final Destination had underestimated the amount of things needed to be moved...on purpose to steal the deposit money.

  I had the same issue. I scheduled a move in June 2022. I paid the deposit. They try to get a lot of fees out of you the week of the move. Then they show up late and try to charge you so much money. The amount of things I have wasnt worth the additional fees. Guys please dont give them all your information. This is such a scam. They show up late and use coercion tactics to try to fleece you. Take care of yourselves out there. I didnt have the opportunity to see all these reviews but its truely egregious.

  If I could give them a negative star I would. Assured me that as long as I didnt change the number of boxes my rate and quote would not change. They neglected to tell me of all the surcharges. Doubled the amount on arrival. STAY AWAY!!

  Horrific scam company They promise they work with military take your money and pawn you off to a two bit moving company who lies , takes your money, dont meet deadlines dont bring trucks that will take all your things so you have to leave them Behind Has been the worst experience My goal is to close this company and the Logistic moving company they use no one should have to experience this I have fired a fraud complaint and will be suing them DO NOT USE THEM

  Final destination doesnt even get a 1 star review but I had to put something there to be able to write a review. Everything the other people complained about is absolutely true. They lie to you!!! They quote one price & when the driver arrives the quote gets doubled or tripled. Most people are stuck at this point because they need to move & the most reputable movers are booked at least a month in advance. Even after paying an additional amount above what was quoted when it came to signing a document(which was never told to us) they wanted me to sign a paper saying the movers could take up to 4-6 weeks to deliver the furniture??? I was told 3-4 days?? It also said that if the furniture had to be stored we would be charged another $100 per day for storage fees?? I wouldnt sign the document so the driver called his manager. The manager got on the phone & assured me the delivery would only take 3-4 days it was just a standard form. We hung up & I crossed out 4-6 weeks & penned in 3-4 days as per the manager. The driver then called the manager back & the manager got very belligerent & told the driver to just leave! They walked out the door & left me with a household full of furniture that needed to be in another state within 4 days. Thank God I found a REPUTABLE mover that had a cancellation within 2 days. Needless to say Final Destination kept close to $3000 of our money & just walked away. Even though they lied about the original price quoted we decided to eat the deposit of $800 & requested the rest back from the office when we were settled. Of course they refused even though they were told to walk out of the move!!! Lying cheating company that will take your money & just just lie to you more after the fact. Please stay away from this company!!

  Scam scam scam SCAM!!! Was deployed overseas and needed to move from MO to TX. I set the move up with final destination and paid $6k in deposits with the other $6k due on delivery. Moving 3-4 bedroom, 2 bath house with a lot of tools and stuff in storage on what was supposed to be on a semi trailer. The truck showed up at the house and it was a box truck with just one person, the driver. Final destination knew that we needed **** plus cuft of space and sent a box truck that wouldnt hold **** and with only one person to load. The driver told my wife who was there dealing with this mess while I was overseas, that he had to call for another truck and person and the pric would double!!! $12k to $24k!! My wife called final destination to have them help and their advices was to do what the movers said since they were the experts!! Holy crap! Since we refused to let the movers load anything, we terminated service and have lost the $6k. Ive been trying to get a refund but it looks like that wont happen. Stay away people!! Find a reputable company and go another route

  How has the BBB not stepped in, in some capacity to stop this literal criminal activity!? Final Destination Moving and Storage is possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with in my 40 years of life. In short, once they (*************************** & ***********************) LIE to you and get your money....you'll never hear from them again. This is likely going to end in a lawsuit and I will be reporting them to the BBB. Thankfully I have both family and friends that are attorneys so I can afford it. PLEASE PLEASE for your own sake and stress STAY AWAY!!When I was first sold into hiring them by ******* Bowmanwe went through my inventory at LEAST 2-3 times. In which ******* quoted me at just over $2000. To my utter shock and disbelief after loading only half of my stuff the movers proceeded to tell me there was no more room and I would either have to leave my belongings or come up with an additional $2600!!!!! That is a %150 add on from the original quote for a total of $4,800!!! Classic bait and switch!After being a full day late, rude, lying, numerous destroyed items, and forced to pay $2800 (150%) above our contractual agreement by holding my personal belongings hostage. Im out nearly $5000! This company is CRIMINAL!

  Final Destination is a scam company. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM.When the subcontracted movers arrived, they took all my stuff to the street, told me I had to pay over $1000 extra dollars to get it on the truck b/c Final Destination's quote was purposely lowered to trick me, despite the fact that the number of items I actually had to move was LOWER than the quoted inventory I gave Final Destination. When I called Final Destination, they told me there was nothing they could do. I could tell the movers to leave if I didn't like the new price, but since they'd already moved all my stuff to the street and I had to leave NY, I was basically being held hostage. Finally, I had no choice but to move forward and try to resolve the price issue afterwards.But never fear, it gets worse. Final Destination told me my items would arrive in **** days. After a week, I had not heard any updates so I called the sub-contracted movers and Final Destination. Neither would give me any updates or information. I called both Final Destination and the movers almost daily for two weeks and either no one ever picked up or when they did, they told me that it wasn't their problem.It has now been over 30 days since they picked up my stuff and I can't even get ahold of the movers.They also refuse to give me money back for the scam pricing they started with, or the massive delay/lack of delivery. Who know's if/when I'll actually ever see my stuff again.This company needs to be shut down immediately. They win bids by lying to customers, using illegal pricing scams, and then refusing to deliver on their obligations. Do not get tricked like I did.

  I concur with everything that has been recently written. Complete scam. I went ahead and booked another mover...just writing the $1200 deposit off. I'll never see that again.

  It is a company committing scams, collecting advances and defrauding the customers. Initially they will lure you with sweet and tempting words designed with tricks to defraud. After collecting the advance, the dealing manager will disappear , never respond to emails. The **************** staff have been trained to only respond on phone calls with assurances and NOT respond to Emails. The so called Quality Manager after collecting the second advance with fraudulent inventory check on phone will disappear , not responding to emails or phone calls. Despite multiple emails and phone calls, will not provide the contacts of the crew or hired mover company contacts. I have been defrauded of the two deposits without any packing and moving service from the company and providing only intensive stress and torture to none's health. Wonder with so may fraudulent cases as with BFB and complaints with the appropriate regulatory agencies, how this company is allowed to carry on this business of scams and frauds. Please save your money , stress, and impact to your health and DO NOT GET SWAYED BY THEIR TRICKS OF PROMISING SERVICES.
