WARNING ?? ?? ?? ?? TO anybody who decides to use these people for representation please read the reviews first. I will start off by saying like a lot of people I applied for SSI after being injured in an atv accident and can no longer work, I was denied but I didn't know once you are denied SSI your application automatically goes to SSDI. I contacted DHG to appeal my case after not hearing from SSI. Note all my paperwork for SSDI was already filed and it's takes a year sometimes to get an answer and DHG knows that so they took advantage of me not knowing how disability work and latch on knowing that due to my condition I was 90% chance of approval, but once again I thought they were helping me with SSI NOT SSDI but that's my fault of not knowing, they are predatory and if you don't know they will take advantage, I did all the work myself on SSDI, I kept in contact with ssdi about my case DHG called maybe once every two months or might have been every month to see if I had any update on my health or dr ************ to make a long story short after a year of me calling and talking with SSDI I got approved and 25% went to DHG FOR THEM MAKING A PHONE CALL TO ME CHECKING ON MY STATUS, WARNING ?? DO NOT HIRE ANYONE UNTILL YOU HAVE BEEN DENIED SSDI, SO IF YOU PUT AN APPLICATION IN FOR SSI AND WAS DENIED WAIT UNTIL YOU ARE DENIED SSDI ALSO BEFORE HIRING ANYONE. I reach out to them but either was hung up on or told I'll get a call back. I wish I would had read the reviews ?? first but you live and learn I hope they enjoyed the 25% they take from people who really need it and did the work themselves.

There are two types of disability programs available through the ****************************** (***): Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability Insurance (****).  To get compensated through either program, an individual must convince *** that they are medically unable to work due their medical conditions for a period of time of at least 12 months.   **** eligibility comes from working and paying into the system and SSI is a needs based programs usually available to individuals who do not meet the **** criteria.  Under our representation, you were approved for SSI because *** agreed with out claims that you were medically disabled and needs based.  You were denied for **** because you did not work and pay into the system long enough/consistent enough/recent enough.   When we are retained to advocate for a client pursuing disability, we file for all benefits to which our client may be eligible and represent you for all claims. We are happy you were approved for SSI from the earliest possible entitlement date.  In addition to your retroactive financial benefits totaling over $9000, you should be receiving a monthly check and ******** entitlement.  This was the best possible outcome available under the *** regulations for your claim.

No correspondence. Furthermore, they hang up on you when you call them to try to communicate with them! They don't mind making you wait longer than other firms and don't express concerns regarding your personal financial situation or position.

My case is still in review, but I couldn't be happier with the service Ive been receiving, especially the compassionate understanding ****** provided, the excellent advice she's given me along with **** and the others there. The wait to speak with them isn't long at all, and I feel they're really fighting for me to win. I'm do grateful for the way they've helped me navigate through this horrendous system

I would give zero stars if I could. They did nothing to help and told me it would take a year to hear if Social Security Disability benefits application is approved. I fired them and they will not get 1 ***** or I will *** them. DO NOT use them.

Dear ***********  Senior Advocate *******************************, who oversees *****'s case spoke with you and confirmed that you want us to continue prosecuting the disability claim.  If this is not the case, please let us know so that we can notify Social Security we no longer are acting as *****'s representative.  It is our intent to continue to pursue the claim until it is approved.  Thanks.

I am extremely pleased with my service from Disability Help Group. Dealing with Social Security is one of the most stressful things that I've ever had to deal with, but my case manager, ******, truly took that weight off of my shoulders. ****** is very kind and understanding, expresses genuine sympathy to my current situation, and explains everything in great detail so that I am never left in the dust to figure things out for myself. With this company, I truly feel cared for, which is a feeling that is important to have when dealing with a disability. Thank you, Disability Help Group, for all that you have done for me and for others!
