*****/*********** SC location This place is awful. Would NOT recommend anyone to these people/business. This place is a total ripoff. Bought a Motorhome 7 months ago and now its depreciated $25,000. And interested rate is at *****%. They take advantage of people. All of their advertising has monthly payments based on a ******* credit score. Our credit is very good and theyre still tried to make me a payment of $1300 mthly for a trade in from our gas coach to a diesel coach. Terrible business. And they knowingly take advantage of folks. You should take your business to someone that really appreciates it because this company DOES NOT!Optimum RV

Help Spread the Word About Optimum RV's Scams I recently had a terrible experience with Optimum RV, where they scammed me, and it was all caught on video. They even called the police on me! I've made a video documenting everything to warn others. ****** ***** *** ****** ******** ***** *** ***** ** ** **** ****** *** **** *** **** **** **** ********* ** ******* ***** ****** *** ***** ************************************************ Additionally, I'm planning to take them to small claims court and will document that process in another video. *****,
Thank you for sharing your concerns. You purchased a pre-owned 2016 **********, and as stated in the sales contract, pre-owned units are sold "as is."Despite this, we made additional commitments to repair specific items, as documented in the "We Owe" form provided during the sales process.
Regarding the incident at the dealership, we take professionalism and the safety of all parties seriously. Our management team made multiple requests for you to remain professional. When these requests were not followed, and you declined to leave the premises, it became necessary to involve law enforcement to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone involved.
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
Sincerely,

Optimum RV is the worse dealers to deal with. I have a major issue and have tried to get a hold of the general manager to resolve it and they refuse to call me back. They sold me a rv class A motor coach. While taking my first trip, it was discovered the shaking the salesman said was a possible alignment and could be easily done was the exterior walls separating from the rv! Yes, we could see daylight from the passenger seat to the road below! I foresee litigation in the near future with these people. Service ********** on delivery was to have the brakes checked. When asked to see the records, they told me the mechanic that did the work failed to document and they were no longer there. They refused to have them checked unless I paid ******* to have the inspection done! This was supposed to be done prior to delivery. I can only recommend to stay as far away from these people as possible. If management says they haven't had the chance to call me, that's BS, I called them on 11/25/2024 at 10:30 in the morning. I called as soon as I got back in town. As of today 12/3/2024 no response! I was told by the receptionist, I would be called right back by the Gm or one of the senior managers, still total silence! The worst experience ever! We bought a camper they promised us to redue the roof. When we arrived to pick it up they had slapped some tire shine on and called it a day. They said sorry we will get it done for tomorrow. Did I mention we lived two hours away. So we returned the next day and they still had not touched the camper. Both days we paid for a driver to haul it for us. They said they would happily give us back our deposit because they were going to loose $ on the deal if they did the roof. Wow just wow. It was all in writing the roof and everything. Way to go optimum rv well played.Signed never your customer againOptimum RV

I payed ******** for a Fifth wheel and was offer ******** after I had made one payment. ****** and **** were 100% Aware of the issues we had in a 1 month period. Roof leak, power converter, furnace, outside lights and awning which has never been fixed and was reported on our inspection and again 1 day after we picked it up. This is ludicrous! They then offered to trade a new tag along listed at $ ******** and wanted me to finance $ *********. **** then stated the Corporate VP would trade for $38,000.00. This is a scam and never have I been so disappointed in a purchase. ****** said I should be happy because did fix the issues other than the Awning. My question if what will break next and I am stuck with it! Also they never even offered an extended warrantyOptimum RV

******,
Thank you for your review and feedback. We have investigated the matter and determined that a used 2021 Sanibel was purchased, and all the major concerns raised have been addressed. As you are not a direct customer of ours, we are unable to disclose specific details regarding the purchase and warranty. However, we can confirm that a warranty was offered with the purchase. It's important to understand that RVs, much like any other pre-owned vehicle or even new ones, may come with the possibility of defects or non-operational components. In this instance, once we were made aware of the issues, our team promptly addressed and resolved them effectively. We strive to ensure that every customer receives the care and attention they deserve.Thank you for your understanding.

We have looking for a motor coach and found the one we wanted at Optimum RV Ocala, we visited the business on August 27, to see the unit. We were helped by two salesmen, both seemed to be very familiar with the coach. It was the very thing my wife wanted, as we were looking, I saw a couple of things that I thought needed attention and they told me about Optimum's rigid inspection and repairs that would make the motorhome "Camp Ready". Later I ask for an explanation of that term, they said it would be in a condition that you would camp that night you took it off the lot. We were cash buyers, Florida law allows outo of state buyer to Floridapurchase a RV for the listed price plus 6% sales tax. I had done that before in Florida just an honest dealer. The very first sales forms had the sales price up to $151000.00. That figue had a $8999.00 options amount, I asked and they it was a fee that all Florida dealerships paid, they had advertised a lower price to get someone's attention ,then they add that amount plus all the recording fees as if we were going to register it in Florida. Bate and switch, completely dishonest and against Florida law. I told then that I would pay cas and give them the law, evidently thay have no respect for the law becasue they asked me whre I was getting my informaation. So they tried agian, this time trying to talk me into finanace, I never agreed and was confident I was going to buy he motorhome at the price I offered cash only. The next day we went back, they had the paper work all laid out with the flat charge for the repair police, bank charges, recrding fees, about $162000.00. So we set there and I siad several times, no. Then I told them I wanted a copy to take and study, they said they would not release the papers without siginatures. We never had a meeting of the minds. I wish I had more room to explain how corrupt we people are, do not buy from these people, at least ready the reviews on this site, 250 complaints in the last two yearsOptimum RV

Mr. Matlock,
Thank you for your feedback. The price of the RV itself has never changed. Our advertised price was specifically for the RV. The additional costs associated with the purchase cover the destination, inspection/preparation, and detailing of the RV. These costs are in addition to the cost of the RV and sales tax, as well as the amount required for registration. It's important to note that these costs are an industry norm and not specific to our dealership. We regret that we were unable to reach an agreement on the pricing, but it's important to understand that the costs associated with the purchase are the responsibility of the buyer. We put a lot of work into ensuring that our customers' RVs are in a safe working order, and there are costs associated with that. If you would like to discuss this matter further, please email us at [email protected].
Thank you,

I would give zero stars if possible. I would not recommend this business to buyers or sellers. We listed our coach with Optimum through the ************ in mid June, at first our agent was great and very communicative and assured us that our unit would sell in less than 30 days. She was aware of the condition and that it needed cosmetic repairs. All new items were purchased by us and left in the unit with a list of repairs, (as we were promised that Pottstown had a shop that would handle all repairs.) She was eager to get the unit to ********* PA and after going through two different transport companies, the coach finally arrived at the end of July. After the arrival we experienced nothing but problems. We called daily and wrote emails several times a week, only to be ghosted and passed along to other agents. We were told to stop calling Pottstown, (they reported that we were rude.) We are certain our agent was fired for falsifying our contact and coercing us into placing our coach on consignment. with Optimum. We were told by many mangers at the ************, "This is above my pay grade." "You need to pick up immediately." "We have over 800 units, so sorry." We have never experienced such lies and depict from a company, it's just appalling. Clearly no one is communicating and management is constantly hiring and firing new employees. In the end, our coach was damaged in transport or at the ********* location, hard to determine, since Optimum employees have different stories and made false accusations to the authorities and our insurance company. I have a large file of emails and images to support my claims, marked with specific dates and times. The final conclusion from Optimum was, "we can cancel our contracts at anytime."Optimum RV

******,
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. After conducting an internal investigation, we discovered that the contract was terminated due to concerns about the vehicle identification number (VIN), as there was a suspicion that the ** may have been stolen. We involved local law enforcement, and based on their guidance, we decided to terminate the contract. We have shared your feedback regarding your overall experience with our leadership team, and we will use this information for coaching and training purposes. Our intention was to assist you in finding a buyer, but unfortunately, we were unable to proceed.
We appreciate the opportunity you provided us to earn your business.

Optimum RV sold me a 2022 used travel trailer. When inspecting the *** the sofa was down in a half sleeping position. I asked the salesman to set it up. He couldnt get it up. He said it was stuck. The next day I went to pick it up. I again asked another salesman to set up the sofa. He said it was broken. I asked for it to be repaired or replaced. The dealership refused to do either, even though I purchased a $5000. warranty. I asked for my money back. The dealer flatly refused, saying the sofa costs $3500 and they would not give me my money back or fix the sofa. I am extremely disappointed in this dealerships customer service. I trusted their good word and they did not honor it.Optimum RV

*****,
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. When you made your purchase, the repair of the sofa bed was not included in the items we agreed to fix. Since you purchased a used RV, any necessary repairs would need to be approved prior to the purchase. While the warranty you bought covers a wide range of parts and components, it does not include the cost of repairing the sofa. We recommend that you retain the warranty due to the potential costs associated with repairs. However, if you wish to cancel your warranty, please email ************************************** and we will begin that process for you.
Thank you,

We drove over 2 hours to see a KZ 5th wheel that was shown in stock at their ************ location. However after arriving found out that they didn't even carry ANY 5th wheels from KZ at this location, and that they had been complaining to the home office concerning the practice of listing product in stock when in fact, they didn't have any at all. Plus.......they advertised a grand opening event at this location. Huh.....I had to ask if they had another salesperson other than the one I was able to find that was already talking to someone. Saw people around, didn't know if they were salespeople or not, but we were ignored till I asked. You'd think with grand opening that they'd have everyone on deck. Needless to say we were ******, and unimpressed. Ended up buying elsewhere. I would NOT recommend this company!Optimum RV
