  I ordered a Petsies plush dog after my 14 year old yellow lab passed away. I paid over $500 for it, and it was a major let down. I paid extra to get a preview before it was sent to me, and let me tell you, I am glad I did. They didn't include any of the unique markings that I described in the initial order and were detailed in the pictures. Her face looks nothing like her. Don't waste your money.

  Budsies was honestly a dream come true, and working with them was amazing.The communication was great, and they contacted me regarding the color pallet of my Budsie. I had the generic package, so it came of great surprise to me they gave me a specialty feature without the extra price. They also asked about what to do with certain parts of my Budsies body, like his eyes, as my art style had the eyes outlines in a certain color.When I had questions, they were quick to respond in less than a day. Their answers were informative and helpful.I had ordered my Budsie in mid August, and it arrived in mid to late September. So they do take a month to arrive.However, the quality of my Budsie amazed me. The material was incredibly soft and well made. The stitching was incredible and almost like it was factory made. Despite the face being made of felt, it was well attached and clearly made with a lot of consideration.They had my design mostly to ***, but theres also some flaws.They forgot a few details, but they were rather minor like a face marking on my character or clothing details. The hair in the back was also a little floppy, but other than that, everything looked fantastic. The communication was nice, shipping was fast, and overall it was a nice experience.I definitely recommend, not only for childrens drawings but if you have original characters that you love, then I suggest getting a Budsie of them too.

  I ordered one back in 2021. It was of my fursona she is an incredible simple character (no patterns and mostly circular shapes) so I thought the plushies would turn out great. When it arrived I was in shock. I wasted so much money on such an ugly stuffed animal. Now it will sit in my closet because looking at it makes me incredibly sad for the money I wasted. I literally can't even look at it. The only good thing was the material was nice. Too bad it was used to create such an ugly product.

  I loved my petsies, but i did ask for long tongue for my dog and ti was short as per the pictures i shared and also you made her look like a huge dog which she as not, rest is amazing

  Awful group of people selling products that don't even agree with their pitch line saying " we make plushes that look like your pets!' cuz they don't and obviously mine didn't. I wasted close to $300 to receive a plush to look like my beloved cat who died recently and this company completely violated my right as a customer because I did not get what I paid for. That is it. I paid to use their service to have a plush made to look like my cat! And it looked nothing like my cat. And they refuse to give me a refund. To my complaint about the use of awkward shaped eyes on the plush that is absolutely not the shape of my cat's eyes, ***** says the company uses the universal one shape eye for all forevercat plushes. Then how is this in anyway custom?? The designers did not even try one bit to make the plush look like my cat. What an insult. And humiliating for my beautiful cat. They mislead customers , vulnerable people like me with very deceiving and believable photos of very well made plushes which do resemble other pets on their website to trust them to return the good quality plush and I was so wrong. This company scammed me. I am never going to buy or use services like this.

  We are very sorry the customer feels this way. We absolutely do not go out of our way to try to deceive our customers. Our advertisements show only a single style of eye with our Forever Cat plushies. We understood that the customer preferred the style of eye that is usually reserved for our Forever Dog plushies. This is the reason our customer service representative offered to make an exception to the customer to have the plush remade at a discounted price with our Dog eye used instead. Because our eyes are pre-made the only customization we are able to do is for the color of the eye. Once again, we do our best to inform our customers of this on our website. We are very sorry the customer was under this impression, but we are willing to once again make an exception to give her a closer eye shape than what she was expecting.

  I wish I read these reviews before ordering! Their responses are all the same! The customer is misleading , anyone notice a pattern in there response. I put my order is **** because of their adverting get it by holiday so what a great idea for a kid for ****. They claim that I didnt choose holiday rush shopping which I certainly didnt see but seriously 8 weeks ? Here is email I got *****. To me it sounds like this should absolutely be done by Xmas During step 3, we'll also hand-sew the pieces together to create your huggable 3D design. Then, we'll bring your plush creation to life by adding all the fluffy stuffing.Next step: your design will pass through our quality control inspection. I didnt hear anything so I reached out *****. Here is response. Hi *******,Thank you for reaching out to us. Please disregard my previous email as well. Your Budsie Puppet should be finished up shortly. There were a few small changes that needed to be made to the design before your Budsie Puppet could be completed. Our designers noted slight alterations to be made, so the seamstresses have had to go back in and adjust this prior to shipment. We are working to get this corrected and sent out to you as soon as possible! Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you again for your patience and understanding,**************, am I the only one who sees should be finished up shortly ? . I guess their definition of shortly means another 5 weeks cause they are telling me ****. I think they have t even started my order cause when I asked to see proof , nope! Wouldnt provide it to me. This is $200 people Do better!!!!!!

  Hello, 

  We have already spoken to this customer at length. Unfortunately, the customer did not elect and pay for Holiday Rush. This is the reason their order was not guaranteed for Christmas. The customer did receive a confirmation email that gave an Estimated Shipping Date of the end of January. We in no way hide how long our products take and the customer's unhappiness was due to their assumptions and not the fault of our team. It is true that their puppet is almost done, but we in no way stated that it would be completed and shipped before Christmas. We did already offer to send the customer a complimentary Santa Letter to give to their child to have something to explain the puppet taking a little longer than Christmas. We would be happy to move forward this if they would like. :)

  The plushie I got was exactly what I expected. It feels high quality. The team was responsive and worked with me to make the one alteration that made this successful.I'd definitely use them again.

  I am giving zero stars as I have ordered one of the budsies of a drawing my son did as a gift for my husband. I placed my order with the picture and description. It has been days and I havent received anything on the order except I did receive the payment of ****** that was removed from my bank account. The budsies customer service was emailed and asked about my order and now they are saying they do not have a order under my name OR email address. I am going to dispute this charge with my bank for ***** as I did order and paid for something I will not receive now. I have seen where budsies has told a lot of customers on here that they could not find a order under their name so this is a common thing with them. For over an hour I have been sitting and reading reviews that I wish I had read before I placed my order because I would have known not to go through this company. Please be advised that they dont have happy customers on what they do make even though their website shows that they can replicate the stuff pretty well. Pictures can be deceiving for sure. And that is if you can even get your order into this company because they continue to tell me and others in emails that they did not have an order from them. PLEASE BE ADVISED WHEN ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY. Also a note to everyone please extensively look up reviews for any company before you make a purchase from them so you do not get scammed like what has happened here. I have the bank transaction showing it was taken out and a email from them saying I did not place a order. Either this company is only Out to make money and not care what customers think or their customer service is the absolute worst in the entire world. Days after my order was placed ESPECIALLY since the money was taken out and given to them they should most certainly know when someone has an order that was paid for. I am very disappointed in this as my husband was very excited to have this ****** drawing made by my 6 year old.

Our team has been actively speaking with her about this situation and has requested her to provide us with any proof of the purchase she has as the two names and email addresses she has provided do not appear in our system. We would be happy to further assist the customer if they can provide proof of the purchase so we can track down the name or email address the customers order is falling under in our system. Sometimes, especially with PayPal, if a certain account is used, the information from the payment account is the one that is auto-placed as the contact in our system. The fact that our team is actively trying to get to the bottom of this is not to insult or deceive the customer. We are simply unable to locate her order and are asking for any information that will help us do so. :)

  I am writing this review because I believe the Budsies website is very misleading about the level of customization they are currently able to achieve with "Selfies" (i.e., plushies based on provided photos + description). The website emphasizes "custom" and says a Selfie plushie can capture an individual's "features and personality, from their adorable freckles to signature up-do." The website also depicts Selfie plushies with different hair textures, differently-shaped noses, unique facial features (like wrinkles), etc. After receiving a preview photo of my Selfie plushie, and through a subsequent email with customer service, I learned just how limiting the customization actually is. From customer service: "As you can see from our Selfies site ... all of the features are relatively generic with the exception of the colors (eyes, hair, skin) and the clothing choices. We simply cannot replicate other facial features in plush. Regarding the nose, this is the standard nose we use on all of our Selfies."I cannot find any obvious place where these limitations are communicated on the website. The copy and the reference images lead people (like me) to believe the opposite. There was no way of knowing before I placed my order that a dimple, a forehead crease, a receding hairline and a small nose would all be out of the questionespecially since there were customer images of plushies with similar features displayed prominently on the website. I understand if Budsies previously offered a more customizable product and had to cut back on customizations as they scaled up, however their website should be updated to reflect the product/service they currently offer....plus my plushie truly looked very little like the reference photo. Its "hair" appeared to be a bowl cut (a la Spock from Star Trek) that nearly touched its eyes. So much for a receding hairline. :(

  We have already spoken at length with this customer. What they are saying is misleading. The customer never reached out to us prior to purchase to ask if there are any limitations with our Selfies. Plush does have limitations where nature does not. We are able to capture freckles and some hairstyles, but we are not able to accurately capture dimples or disruptions in features on the face as plush cannot be formed in that way. The different hair textures are available upon request, but only our plush materials are guaranteed (which is noted on our website in multiple places including our FAQs). There is an FAQ for our Selfies that describes what we can and cannot do and that FAQ is accessible on any page using our Help Widget. We have actively provided this customer with potential solutions to give her the plush that she deserves.
