  I worked with 3 divisions of solar source. Roof, new pool solar and existing hotwater solar. They did a great job on all of the installations. Best part was working with one company vs 2 or 3 to have a new roof installed.

  100% honest company. They were upfront with us about the cost of the solar pool heater and electric solar panels and what roof and shade scheme is good for panels. We weren't ready for solar electric because that would be an 8 year ROI, but we went with the solar pool heater, and now in the beginning of March, our pool is warm enough to swim in!

  When ***** won't return your calls or offer a system to fit your needs... When the other guys want to give you a quote without coming to your house... You go with Solar Source because they came right out, explained all of our options clearly, gave us proper quotes after surveying the house and our needs, and have been the single most professional company of ANY we have worked with in the state. From sales to installation these guys have done everything right by us, have done it as they promised, have done it on time, and (best of all) have done everything correctly. No shortcuts taken, this is how professionals do things the right way. Two thumbs up.

  Be very careful when buying this product. The salesman was very good at selling. I think the quality of the Helliocol product is good but make sure you review the manufactures website and make sure you get what you are looking for. I have an installation on my north facing roof that thus far has been ineffective. I was told the north roof would be less than 1 degree different. In reality it is very ineffective at the beginning of the season. The company doesnt even show a north facing installation on their website. The salesman will show you a curve showing heating early in the year. It will heat the spa but that is 550 gallons of water. Definitely not sized, or oriented for my ***** gallon pool. Here we are in April and limited water heating. He measured my roof and my pool, I was assured there was enough space for 8 panels and that was plenty for my pool. Not the case yet. I asked for the plumbing to be done a specific way so I could utilize my equipment pad for a salt cell system, the salesman gave my direction to the installer as an option, for his plumbing. But he did it differently. I guess he knew I would need to install a heater.I expect the system will work well in the summer months and I will need to add a heater anyway. If you have a spa, you will certainly need a heater for supplemental heat after the sun goes down anyway. Not what I bargained for and certainly not worth the price. Its been installed for a few weeks and still waiting on the electrical permit to be cleared. Also the panel layout used was not shown anywhere on the manufactures website and increases the head pressure on my pump. I had to hire a plumber to check the water flow through one intersection, but he couldnt because it requires a special tool,All I got from the salesman was I promise its right. If I had to do it again, I wouldnt do it again. A

  A sales person named Kris came to my house. The quote was crazy high. After I decided to go another direction he started to harass me on email and then text msg. I still get weekly emails from the company even after asking the director of operations to stop them.

  Solar Source was recommended by a friend and we interviewed and priced them along with several other solar vendors. Solar Source was the best by far during the interview process and their pricing was competitive. ***y were also the only vendor to allow us to use AMEX for air miles. *** installation went smoothly and county inspected and approved. Were waiting for *********** to switch meters and then the system can be energized. Highly recommend Solar Source.
