This website is a scam. They will sell you a hotel room and put an upcharge for the service fees. We booked a room for $170 and were charged $250. They also charged my credit card as well. So I cancelled them and they said they will refund it. I believe they will not because of the prices we paid.

SUPER SUPER! DON"T EVEN TRY !! I was not allowed to review any information on my selection. The screen quickly changed without my permission. It went straight to processing to the end. I questioned the taxes and fees . I wanted to change my mind. This will never happen to me again. You are ripping people off. Frances K

GuestServices is incredibly deceptive business. They seem to operate by disguising themselves as the hotel's website that you're actually trying to book with. They do this by serving you and ad disguised to look like the hotel you're interested in, but because it's an ad, the guest services link will appear higher in your search results than the actual hotel's website. During the booking process, they seem to mirror the hotels advertised rates, but they do an incredibly good job of hiding MASSIVE amounts of hidden fees. I booked a $354 room and ended up being charged $580 by GuestServices - a 64% increase! This scam company needs to be shut down.

I was on the official hotel website for EB Hotel Quito comparing prices of the rooms for a same day reservation. Unknowingly I clicked a deceptive ad from GuestReservations.com thinking it was a discount offer from the hotel. I received and applied the code. What I now know was the final payment page, did not display the price. I thought the button I clicked would lead to another page showing the price, instead it charged my card. I called immediately because it was significantly more than the 2 other options that were directly with the hotel; note that I still believed I was dealing directly with the hotel. Because it was last minute the representative refused to refund my money and suggested I talk to the hotel when I arrived. At the hotel I learned that I had booked with an Expedia company and not directly with the hotel. The hotel had no way of refunding the difference in room price. This experience with Guestreservations.com, an Expedia company, ensures I will never use them. They use deceptive ads that make you believe they are the hotel, final payment page does not obviously display the price, and despite calling immediately refused to refund my money.

THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!! DO NOT USE. I tried to book a room online and after giving all my information they said the hotel was "sold out". Then I called customer service directly and after 16 minutes booking a room, giving all my information, they said "sold out" Do not use for any bookings!!

Deceptive company, but I assume the hotels have no problem with them either. The transaction moves so quickly once you enter your credit card. I became suspicious only after I did not receive an email from them with a confirmation number. I called the hotel directly to find out if I actually have a confirmed reservation---but I confirmed that I actually paid, as my credit card company confirmed the charge. Basically, if I need to change the reservation, I cannot since it is third party. Note: I literally put the hotel and street location of the hotel, I thought I was on their site--Hilton Garden--so the hotels know this is happening---totally ok with them. I feel my credit card info is out there, so that is another uneasy feeling I received. Learn something new everyday--use the phone to make a direct hotel reservation moving forward.

This is a very deceptive business - they match the price the hotel charges and then secretly add (in my case) 49% in junk fees. I was charged $566 for my $382 room. There was no mention of these fees until the charge hit my card. Buyer beware - avoid this service! BTW - you can get a refund, despite the fact they tell you otherwise.

Scam, they act as if it were the legit hotel and post it to your credit card with a similar name so you still won’t catch it in your statement

SCAM !!!! Appeared as though I was booking directly with hotel . Pais $140 more than the hotel was charging . After talking with hotel staff they hate third parties as well and have so many similar complaints from customers . Why are these people allowed to exist !!

Absolute scam. Should be scrubbed from the internet. Thank goodness I used a card that helped with my dispute.
