I have been mining with Compass for over 1 year. Although I ordered 6 miners, to date, only 5 have been put on line. During this time, Compass has been unable to keep those 5 miners up and running without interruption for more than 2 days at a time. This is solely what I am paying them for, and they seem incapable of performing their job. I get multiple messages daily from my mining pool saying that one or more of my miners is down. Compass has never once given a deadline or time frame that they were able to meet. They are so consistently wrong as to appear not only incompetent, but borderline fraudulent. I have no confidence that they will keep their word regarding anything they say.Although I signed on for a year at a given price, Compass unilaterally raised my monthly hosting fees. Yes, their contract allows them to do it, but it still leaves the impression of bait and switch.Compass has never once sent me a monthly invoice that was accurate. They have constantly overcharged me, and have billed me for miners in locations where I didn't have them. They appear to be completely disorganized. I spend a significant amount of time each month correcting their billing errors. To add insult to injury, unless you pay your hosting fees in crypto, you will incur a service charge to pay by any other means. In other words, I have to pay them to take my money. Charges like these are essentially made up. This should be Compass's problem, not the customer'************************ does have a good customer service department who seems to spend most of their time apologizing, but very little taking action to correct the company's ineptitude. If I could get my money back, I'd happily walk away and never deal with these idiots ever again. I'd also happily join a class action lawsuit should one develop.DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH COMPASS MINING.

Compass was fine initially but since the market downturn, the support experience has been horrendous. My miner was at the ******* site when it went down in September for almost a month, and per their support, a credit should be issued to me. However, it is now Dec and there's still no credit. Furthermore, the device is now offline, and according to Compass, it is out for repairs. Again, they said once it's repaired, I will receive credit. In the meantime, they ask that I continue to pay my invoice, despite the fact that the miner is completely offline for almost 3 months. Support says I'm in the waitlist for credit. Why would there be a waitlist for credit? Does that mean the company is insolvent? They're just taking money in and not crediting customers for downtime? I would not use Compass, and would steer clear. Completely regret getting a miner and hosting solution from them.

After purchasing a Miner in November for around 10k the original go live date was scheduled for ***** with a deployment in ********. This was delayed several months and then they eventually shipped it to a ***** facility. Since it got to ***** they have been offline and no ETA has been given as to when they will go online. They sent an email out with the option to relocate the devices to another facility that has room. After quickly replying with the ok they turned around on that decision and decided the miner would continue to stay in *****. Here we are six months after the initial promise date of go live with nothing to show for it. The support team is not even able to provide a serial number for the device I ordered which leads me to believe it does not exist. After months of calling the phone number finally someone reached out to me after reaching out on ******* and told me there is nothing they or I can do about this. When asked for a full refund they said this is not possible either. This company is an utter scam and I want to warn others from falling into the same trap that I did.
