      SEM is inconsistent about picking up trash and recycling, and “customer service” is not able to resolve any issues directly. We’ve routinely had them skip picking up recycling, and sometimes not pick up trash or recycling. Anytime I call there is a list of excuses I’m not interested in. We are paying for a service that is not being provided. I hit my limit today, after I’ve had to call 3 times over 2 days about recycling not being picked up to get it picked up, and just found out that “operations” has 24 hours to respond to a service ticket. 24 hours to RESPOND when they’re already 2 days late for pick up?!?! What on earth? This is the worst trash company, do not use. I’m getting a new service asap.

      Just didn't pick up our trash. When i called the office they said well it's almost end of business, Mary will have to get back to you. Mary never got back to anyone and our trash sat there for weeks - funny enough they couldn't collect our trash but sure could collect that payment. They are the worst company i have ever done business with. NEVER AGAIN.

      Worst trash company I have ever dealt with. I own a business in Delaware City and this company is horrible. My trash gets picked up every other week and I pay for weekly service. I have to make time to call almost every week and ask Why my trash has not been picked up only to receive a rude response and no solution. They give me the run around. DO NOT USE or trust this company.

      Horrible horrible service tried to cancel my account so I can make payment to remaining balance I owe and I am NOT ALLOWED to cancel until paid in full so I continue to get billed with NO TRASH pickup but yet my bill keeps going up so I am literally just handing them Money with out trash coming .. I'll was 230 asked them to cancel my account so no further charges keep adding to it and wasnt allowed to cancel now it's close to 400 with still no trash removal and will continue to get billed .

      Seems the service is just as bad as before the merger, probably worse. Non pickup all the time, price rates goes higher, so service gets worse. I can't wait to find a better service in my area. I pay for a service that i don't get. Its awful. No refund or credit for all the missed pick ups. If you can find another trash pickup provider do it. rating is zero

      Trash Tech/SEM is the most unprofessional business in the tri state area. They do not honor their contract, and some weeks will skip pickup without notice or explanation. When you call, they do not know why it wasn't picked up, but don't fix the problem. My whole street of neighbors have had their trash cans at the street for one week waiting for trash pickup. The company employees are incredibly rude over the phone and not helpful. They will not give you a refund for any weeks they missed pick up. They raise the price almost every quarter, without any notice. I don't know how this company is still in business, they should be sued for theft and breach of contract.

      I need a negative ZERO to rate this company. This company is a complete fraud and bunch of thieves who take payment and do not pick up the trash service as paid for. Their customer service is horrendous and refuse to refund for services that they are not providing. We have had to call every week for the past 6 weeks for trash pick up and each time the customer service is snarky. This causes a sanitary issue with trash piling up, a breach of contract for paying for a service that is not provided and there are hundreds of comments about this all over the internet and social media. Recycling is piling over. This company needs shut down and sued for their failure to provide a service that has been paid for. This is called STEALING.

      They are awful. Simply don't use this company. They failed to pick up our trash MANY times and had no reasonable excuse at all when we called them to see why our trash was still on our curb. They switched from electronic to mail communications without asking at the same time they added a fuel surcharge. It's clear they were trying to hide the new charge. When we finally canceled, they wouldn't refund the month we had already paid for. They said they would pick up their trash can after we canceled so we left the can on the curb for a MONTH and they never picked it up (though we saw their trucks come through). So after a month we tool the can off the curb and put it on the side of the house with our other cans. FOUR MONTHS LATER they came onto our property around the side of the house at 0830 without telling us and took not only their old can but the can that came with the house WHICH IS NOT THEIRS. Please please please save yourself the trouble and don't use this company.

      They are the worst. I have cancelled my my service a couple of times left message on there so called answering machine. Yet they still came to pick up my trash. Now they trying to bill me for 3monthes service that they did not do.i called and was hanged up on both time. I speak with a load voice and they took it as yelling. They need to redo company and fire the office staff.
