I signed up with Silver Singles and in my haste used the my debit card instead of my credit cared, so I contacted the company via customer support as directed via the app. I received a response 3 days later that requested me to file more information, not originally asked for in the initial form. I logged into the website online, found the information, and resubmitted my request. I then received a reply another 3 days later, that I needed to contact Apple as I signed up on Apple, and they could not submit a refund for that reason. I believe the reason they stalled for six days, was that they knew that after a certain time window, I believe it is 24 to 48 hours, or less, you have to contact Apple in order for this option to be possible. I think. My initial plan was to resume my subscription once the refund was processed, using my credit card. But, after the way it which the company chose to handle the request, I will no longer use the site. I do not know why companies choose the fast and easy money, instead of fostering business relationships with customers that last. Sincerely, frustrated consumer.Spark Networks Services GmbH

Elite Singles which is Spark is complete fraud. They don’t give a chance to try or to pay month to month. You sign for three months and they charge you for all three months immediately. Their “unique “ system of match is a joke. They give you around 20 profiles a day in your zipcode and all of them just random profiles of random people who don’t match my requests at all. A lot of them even don’t have pictures or information. And you can’t search by yourself. There’s no option like this. I decided to cancel as soon I understood what’s going on but you can’t send an email, you can just fill the form on website. I requested complete refund the same day but they answered only in one week that I had three days to cancel:) Going to dispute charges through my bank. I wish I read a reviews before. Elite Singles - Fraud. Site says you can try for 14 days and if not satisfied get a full refund... just use the "contact form". Guess what... there in no contact form to be found. Zoosk online dating site. I signed up for a “one month subscription for $34.99. The site asks if you want any of the additions offers, and I said no to all of them, because they were additional charges. As soon as I allowed the payment to go through for the one month only, all these additional charges came with it which brought all the charges up to around $72.00!!! This is all so wrong. Everything is online which is harder to resolve, and they will simply say”we did not” and lie. I have used Zoosk before, so apparently things have really gone down hill!Spark Networks Services GmbH

Less than ONE STAR. Stupidity and fraud prevail. Money is the name of their game. They no longer offer "in-person" services-the opportunity to speak with a customer service agent. I have gone round and round with an agent who cannot understand that they have mischarged me (my credit card company corrected their error) and as a result have threatened to block my membership. Of course, this is after continually ignoring my parameters of distance and age and wasting my good time and energy by sending me mostly inappropriate matches-also men who are married, sexists, not who they say they are-have a history of criminality. Total site is a scam site. I have joined a few times after being duped by this site..They will send you emails with there fake bots sending you messages..They always use very attractive bots when they do this..When you rejoin and respond you never get a response back ever. And if you do it's a computer generated message that's exactly the same from all of them.When you respond to the message you then get zero response..This isn't a isolated incidence it has happened everytime I have rejoined..A scam site thst should be removed and a class action lawsuit against rhis conpany.Spark Networks Services GmbH

Phone app doesn't correctly respond to me selections - and my attempts to cancel my subscription and delete my account are met with directions to do so on a PC. Then, on my PC my attempts to cancel and delete my account resulted in no visual confirmation of cancellation, and my status continued to be shown as ACTIVE. EliteSingles needs to screen out scammers by verification of their ID: driver license, SS card, photo ID before allowing people post their profiles. If anyone is found to be a scammer, he should be penalized by large sum of money. Your site are filled with criminals with fake photos, fake informations. Almost 99% of people on your site are not real, and prey on innocent victims. If you cannot screen them out, you are not qualified to have business online.Spark Networks Services GmbH

I subscribed for 3 months. They make auto-renew the default for subscribing. Then they make cancelling an onerous, circuitous process which I wasn't able to navigate effectively. You can't cancel directly through the app. The app instructs you to go to iTunes, in my case. I went to iTunes, and found no evidence of any Zoosk subscription in my account. Asking the support personnel ("Arnie"), he told me it's in the settings section of the app. This is untrue. So I am stuck with an extra 3 months of looking at the same 8-10 women in my remote area, with whom I have a mutual disinterest. A decent, honest site would refund my money, but these folks seem to have no intention of doing that. I'd give less than one star if I could!Spark Networks Services GmbH

You responded to my negative review very unsatisfactory. All dating sites use bait profiles. You write the same response to everyone but refuse to change your process. I asked for a prorated refund and was told all sales are final.
