  I can’t begin to describe how disappointed I was with the whole moving experience.  The crew seemed to know nothing about moving:  dragging furniture pieces across the floor; not using moving quilts for wood furniture or upholstered furniture; etc. It's not surprising that several items were scratched or gouged during the move, or that upholstery was torn. I didn’t get a chance to review the bill before I was asked to pay it.  I sent an email with my complaints to the company, and they have not been considerate enough to even reply. Overall, I would not recommend this business to anyone so that they can avoid the awful experience (including the loss of a valuable item during the move) that I had. I thought this was a professional moving company, but they sure don't perform like one.

  After using other moving services, I was very impressed by this company. The young men who did the moving were personable, skilled, careful and made sure things were in the areas that I had requested. Not only that, they didn't break or damage anything -- unlike a previous moving company.

  The most horrible experience. They arrived late with a truck that was too small for my move. They had to make 2 trips to my home. They put a hole in a wall. scratched the floor, lost a piece on the dining room table. It took double the time for the move. They then had the audacity to charge me extra money for their poor planning. Don't ever use this company. They do not return phone calls either.

  I had a most positive experience with HandsOn Moving. While the distance of my move was not far, I did have two stops (a storage unit and an apartment) for pick-up to deliver to my new home. The movers could not have been nicer, easier to work with, or more professional. Unlike some prior moving experiences, they did not knick any walls (and some of the furniture was heavy), they were responsive to requests I made, and never made me feel like I was imposing. They completed the work in reasonable time, never seeming to slack or drag their feet so that it might cost me more. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you, Hands On Moving!

  I recently had the pleasure of utilizing the services of Hands On Moving for my relocation on none other than St. Patrick's Day, and I must say, they truly turned what could have been a stressful day into a seamless and enjoyable experience. From start to finish, their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for my belongings were evident.
  The team of three movers arrived promptly at the scheduled time, and from the moment they stepped through the door, it was clear that they were dedicated to providing top-notch service. Despite the holiday hustle and bustle, they approached the task at hand with unwavering focus and determination.
  What impressed me the most was their meticulous handling of my belongings. Each item, no matter how big or small, was treated with the utmost care and respect. From delicate glassware to bulky furniture, everything was carefully wrapped, packed, and transported with precision. Their expertise gave me peace of mind knowing that my possessions were in good hands.

  Hands on moving New Haven CT took a 900 deposit on my visa, which should have raised a red flag, as I never had to give a moving company a deposit. I was supposed to move from ** ** ** **** ***** ** *** but became sick, and had to cancel the move..I gave them four months notice, and they said they would refund the 900.00 I wanted my visa credited but they said they could not do that and would send. a. Check. I. requested a cashiers check, but. they sent a regular check that bounced for illegal funds..The apt i was moving to in *** returned everything, and hoped I would feel better. As a senior, I cannot be out this kind of money, so I

  Would rewrite the review he would have the accounting dept, send me a cashiers check., I rewrote the review saying they are going to refund my 900. That has not happened. I have not. Received anything..I do not feel this company is aboveboard
  I re wrote the review again, saying I have not received the 900. I will not use Hands on moving when I move. if I get well…. I need this money returned and if they do return it, I will go back on here and say they returned my 900. Deposit…I did not plan on getting after reading all these complaints, it’s very concerning….   The most horrible moving experience I have ever had. We used hands on moving to move and store our things in between moving houses. The day our things were brought to our new house was a disaster. Half of the stuff delivered did not belong to us. The guys went back to the storage and returned again with not our things. 7 out of 8 dining room chairs came with broken legs. An antique table came broken in 2 pieces. We are missing multiple boxes and irreplaceable art work. Boxes that were marked fragile came looking like they were thrown with everything inside broken. I am absolutely heartbroken that my possessions were treated with such carelessness and the company does not want to take any responsibility for this.

  Amazing service. Everyone from the office to the truck is professional and hardworking. They moved a fish tank for me and were really courteous about ensuring they were doing it the safest way possible for both them and the tank.

  Honestly, I have never had a more professional move from the best crew ever !! On time, professional, courteous, and incredibly hard working. This flawless experience started with Arleen who is amazing! She arranged for the "fantastic four" to arrive for a move from one residence to another including moving items inside, outside and to a large storage trailer. They worked seamlessly together, in sync, wrapping, securing, and gently moving many cartons and large pieces of furniture. I can not express how grateful I am to Hands On Moving for making a very stressful time a pleasure and worry free in every aspect. My neighbors also expressed how impressed they were watching their seamless and efficient work. I will never use anyone else and I have and will continue to praise this company and recommend them to anyone I know. In addition to great work, this company transported my riding lawn mover, snow blower, and gas grill without the propane tank for a very reasonable cost. If you want removal and discard of items they do that too. One stop exceptional service for a very reasonable and fair cost. Save yourself worry and stress and call Hands On Moving.
