      I work from home and my internet went off for a few days in October. It was deemed equipment malfunction and, I lost around $1500.00 due to not being able to work, but stuff happens, and I understood it. My internet went off again last night at midnight. It was deemed equipment malfunction, and I can't get a technician until December 31. I explained to the girl on the phone that I work from home and have to get this fixed as soon as possible, she said she would call me back, but when I hadn't heard I contacted them and found out the ticket was market resolved. I spoke to someone else and was told that he was sorry I lost money but there was nothing that could be done, and after I pay my bill, I can contact the company to ask for a refund on the dates that I didn't have the internet. I have lost $800 today so far. I work in the medical field and cannot go to a public area to get an internet signal, because of patient confidentiality. By the time Rise Broadband comes this month, I will have lost my business, and there isn't a **** thing that Rise Broadband cares about doing. I wish there was an option for zero stars, because this company doesn't care about anyone.

      ******** customer service! I signed up with Rise on June 5th and was not informed that it was a prepaid service. By the 20th disconnected me added a late fee and a reconnection fee. I called in and they gave me 2 months free and said they would fix my account. They only gave $90 and didn't remove the extra charges so in July they disconnected me again and added another late fee and reconnection fee. So the executive office got involved and fixed it and I then paid for August and they gave another month for the issues. One of the customer service guys told me "learn to pay your bills" and then the fees were put back on my bill for September and I told them to cancel it. They gave 3 months and I paid one month of 65 dollars and the final bill was $140. I changed service the next day and their equipment on my front porch and I called them after a month to come get their equipment. They did 3 weeks later and then sent another work order to pick up equipment and the technician came and got on my roof took the other company's equipment and some of my equipment that I owned. They could not get it working right on Friday afternoon and went all weekend hotspotting from my phones. Rise is the worst customer service I have ever seen. Along with their billing department only looks at the system and not listen to anything. They are rude and obnoxious. Don't use rise broadband. Email the CEO on ********
