  I just signed with Ameritech Windows to replace all the windows for the home I just purchased and I am so glad that I did! ****** explained the difference between their products vs competors so well I immediately felt comfortable. Then when it came down to talk price, she definitely helped out with that as well since the reno is a tight budget. I cannot wait to have beautiful windows that open and last for the years that I will be enjoying in my new home.

  These windows are amazing, and much improved over the old windows in my house. The installers were professional, quick, careful and were absolutely amazing. I have no complaints about them. However, I was told by my salesperson that the financing option for these windows had a 0% interest introductory period for 12 months, which I was also told that I qualified for. Seeing at how expensive these windows were, I selected that option solely on the 0% introductory rate. However, when I received my first billing statement, I couldn't find any reference to that introductory period. I called the financing company (Foundation Finance) and was told that the introductory option was not included in the paperwork or the contract they received and so I was receiving the full interest rate that was accruing daily. So either I was lied to to make a sale or the seller/company did not do their due diligence in filling out the paperwork. For a company that has such a high reputation and for the amount of money they charge, this is an unacceptable mistake and I expected a higher level of care and detail when it comes to taking care of their customers. The only reason I am still leaving three stars is because of the product they sell and because of their installation team.

  I'm sorry you are unhappy with the financing but surprised by your review. We couldn't get you approved at the finance company we wanted to for the full amount of the job with the terms you wanted. We were able to get you approved with a different lender for the full amount with different terms. These were all disclosed to you and you signed off on them. Claiming we lied to you or didn't fill out the paperwork correctly is a ridiculous and incorrect statement, actually quite upsetting and troubling. You are free to get your own financing whenever you want, ours has no pre-payment penalty.

  We had our windows installed some time ago. It was a nightmare from the start. The measurements were wrong, but the windows were installed regardless. Installation was done poorly, most of our windows leak. From the first winter we've had snow leak in under our front door. The caulking has browned and become grimy over the years, nothing cleans it. We started with complaints that were swept under the rug, every time they call to check in we're told there's "no history of complaints". Now there's even more new staff calling to ask about our satisfaction, when we share all the issues it's "new to them". They want $200 just to send someone to look at what the issues are, but are happy to waive that if we buy more products from them. If you get a good Installation I imagine they are a decent product but quotes to fix these issues from Installation from home contractors is well into the thousands. We just now paid them off, and we're already looking to replace them. Again.

  Ameritech did a good job today helping us with select 15 new windows for our home. ***** was our sales representative and did an excellent job today making a compelling case for Ameritech replacement windows.   I had 28 windows installed. After installation, I immediately put in a service request as my house felt draftier than ever! I could literally feel the wind come around them! It took 2 years to get an Ameritech technician to verify my complaint. He took the flashing off a couple of windows and sure enough, they were not insulated!!!! If you have Ameritech windows, Id make sure they were installed correctly!!!

  For a pitch that lasted longer than initially intended (3 hours of useful information), ****** was excellent and knowledgeable about their product. She explains the differences between window and *************. She was adaptable to my last-minute questions and involved every family member in the science examples. She was also super kind to my dog, who didnt leave her side the ENTIRE time.
