The worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. It has been 2 1/2 years of one thing after another. Three of the four crews they sent did faulty work and left trash behind(if they showed up). I had wind blowing in around my windows after they installed them. They said they didn't need a permit. I found out they did and they failed to pass the inspection. They didn't insulate the windows on the inside. They didn't seal the windows on the exterior and water came in. Now I have mold behind my walls. The owner has been rude and arrogant through out the process.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We pride ourselves on our 28-year, near-perfect 4.6-star reputation, though sometimes issues arise during a major project. When that happens, the **** of a good company is to address the issues and stand behind the work until everything is resolved. In your case, we went above and beyond the original scope of work without additional expenses for time or materials in order to see the project through to the end. In addition to absorbing significant expenses that we chose not to pass along to you when you changed the scope, other shows of good faith on our part include the following: sending a senior-level member on his personal time on a Saturday to stain and prep; making numerous concessions such as upgrading to painted exteriors, upgrading from sliders to casements, upgrading to cedar because you didn't like the color of the coil stock; and even driving you to the dentist. While some of the delays were due to supply-chain issues, most were customer driven. You changed the scope of work mid-project on several occasions, and your abusive treatment of our best crew forced us to pause/regroup to make crew reassignments. With regard to installation issues or mold, I want to remind you that you complained about your "drafty, old" windows; usually when there is a draft, it means there is an area for air/water/insects to intrude. I also want to remind you that the work passed inspection twice, so any mold pre-dates our work. Furthermore, regarding pre-existing issues and per our contract, "I understand that Contractor is not responsible for structural or other defects in my property, and that Contractor's products do not cure those type of problems."

Ameritech windows (of *******) brags about being in business 28 years yet, they claimed they didn't know they needed a permit to do my job in Boulder County. I asked them and they said they didn't need one. I contacted the county and found out they did and made them get one. 5 of the windows failed inspection because they weren't tempered and didn't meet code. After 28 years in business, I believe they knew what code required and were trying to cut corners and save money. They replaced 3of the 5 windows then sent a misleading picture to *********************, the Boulder County inspector causing him to close the permit. Ameritech immediately sent me demand for payment saying job had been closed even though they knew they still owed me two windows. I called Taj and he reopened the permit until they put in the last two windows. That is why the job 'passed inspection twice'. To be clear! The scope of the job was never changed. I/we decided the interior trim would be better if we used oak trim instead of pine and I volunteered to incur 100 percent of the cost of the oak trim which I did. I have never been abusive to any of there employees or subs as they suggest. They are grasping at straws trying to defend the indefensible. I have mold in my house because they left it open to the elements for over a year. I never complained of drafty windows as alleged. That is another lie.

Whether purchasing new windows or repairing existing windows, everyone I've dealt with, from the office to the person performing the service, has been courteous and professional. I highly recommend them.

It looks we replaced your windows back in 2009. I see we recently completed a service request on a broken handle. I'm glad we were here to help and that service was performed to your satisfaction. Thanks for taking the time to post your approval. We'll be here if anything else ever comes up. Thanks
