In February 2023, BBB investigated Sweet Addict Bakery’s
business practices. The investigation was prompted by a large number of
complaints. All complaints filed on the business are the same; orders not being
sent, cooking classes being booked and paid for, have been cancelled with no
refund, and the physical location has a permanently closed sign on the door.
“Paid this business $224 for 4 different cooking classes.
1st class (1/19) was canceled with less than 2 hours notice. No refund given.
Second class (2/4)was cancelled the day before. No refund given. Come to find
out the business is gone.”
“On 2/9 I purchased two tickets to a cookie Class for
2/10. When we showed up for the class the building was vacant.”
“Permanently closed, showed up to a cooking class and
found the building to be shuttered. No heads up or refund was given”
On February 23, 2023, BBB sent an email requesting
information from the business, another email was sent 03/02/2023 and a letter
was mailed through the post office on 03/08/2023; as of 03/16/2023 the business
has not responded to any of BBBs attempts of communication. BBB has tried
without success, to call numbers listed on the business website and social
media.
As of 03/16/2023, BBB has exhausted all forms of contact to
the business. All phone numbers, emails and most websites are disconnected.
