I was getting meals from them and they werent fresh sometimes and would also be missing quite a bit at times. I went to skip weeks and never received a confirmation email and was charged after I had already skipped. I had been skipping because my Kitchen flooded and had to be gutted. I was unable to ***** the meals at this time. I explained this to an associate and then asked for a supervisor by the name of **** She was not helpful and was rather rude. She said it was my fault and I explained that I had the plan paused for the last month and have also paused out until November. She continued to fault me and give me a lecture. I offered to send her via email the proof I did pause the meals out. After the call she took it upon herself to just cancel my plan without my confirmation. I WILL NEVER use them again. After being on the phone with the supervisor almost 30 minutes I left the conversation feeling very strong that Green Chef just lost a loyal customer.Green Chef Corporation

This company has very questionable practices and ethics. Apparently if you simply log onto your account, mind you Ive never even ordered from them, it automatically renews your subscription, which then charges you. I was just looking to see what they offer and somehow it signed me up for a delivery and charge $115.91. I DID NOT even receive a confirmation email that I had placed an order, nor did anything on the site I was searching say an order had been placed, which is beyond disturbing. Had I received an email saying an order was placed, I would have canceled immediately. I also have never ordered from this company or given my credit card information. If you have to give credit card Information just to look at a menu, I never order from a company because its a terrible business practice. I talked to customer service and they said it was past the cancellation time. I escalated it to speak with a supervisor **. He informed that he would refund the charge and also gave me credit cause it was a promotional time. I said I dont want any credits from this company and I want my account deleted because I will never order from this company again. I asked him for a claim number and he said there is no inquiry number because the problem was solved, he also wouldnt give me his last name. Any company that tricks you into buying stuff simply by logging into your account is not worth your money. DO NOT order from this sketchy company with questionable morals and business practices. I still have no idea how they got my credit card info or why I never received a confirmation email.Green Chef Corporation

I ordered and received a 50% discount, making 3 boxes for my first week. Only about $35. You ARE SUPPOSE TO received boxes on Sunday. You need to cancel, put on, hold or make any changes by Tuesday before I selected my 3 meals but wanted to try them before. I paid for a second order. My order should have come Sunday, then Monday, then Tuesday. So I froze ( put on hold) the next weeks order that Tuesday before because they never sent out my original order. Kept sending messages: The delivery was being held up. I finally received a message stating They would not send me anything. I know it is because I would not pay for it a second week but I never got to try the first week so I didn't know if I wanted a second week. Very sloppy businessReview fromWilliam O

I had a membership and LOVE the dishes but I went on vacation so I put deliveries on hold. When I came home I had a package ruined with spoiled food. I called to report the mistake and was told "oh well". I still had to pay! Cancelled Membership after that. Bad business.Green Chef Corporation

Do NOT sign up with this company. They won't stop charging or sending boxes (of items THEY choose) even if you have confirmation of cancelation. Also, you cannot see the menu unless you sign up, and by then, it's too late.Green Chef Corporation

The food and recipes were good - we were primarily following vegetarian and gluten free meals. We also only needed meals for a short time due to a busy schedule, so cancelled after a couple months. **************** was easy to reach but gave me incorrect and contradictory information. After a mix up with an order I had called to explain it and request a refund. I was told (in writing) my account had been successfully deactivated and that I would be receiving a refund in 5-10 business days. I did not. I called after about 3 weeks and spoke to a different rep who said that refund had not been processed but that he can process it and I would get an email confirmation within 24 hours. I did not. I called again and was told that I would not be getting a refund but a credit instead and that the two other agents were incorrect. After some back and forth, the agent issued a refund for a different amount than previously stated by the other two agents. I did wait on the phone while she sent an email confirmation. In short, good food and quality ingredients, but very difficult to remedy a problem if you have one - the customer service reps did not follow through, gave poor and conflicting information, and I had to repeat the entire situation each time I called (which was many).Green Chef Corporation

Food is good when you can actually choose your meals. I have had many many many issues over the last 4 weeks where I cannot login from a browser or their app. Then I get whatever they have left over that no one else wants and neither do I. So I got the privilege of paying for garbage that they would have had to throw away. The last group of meals I got, I had to throw one out because it was moldy after two days.Avoid.Green Chef Corporation

Green Chef was a huge disappointment. Not because their food wasnt delicious or even because its costly. The disappointment is with their abysmal customer service. After i subscribed and received the initial discount, they constantly sent promotions about rewards but i never received anything explaining how to claim these rewards. The app is very confusing and provides little useful information aside from meals to pick. I contacted online agents a number of times regarding rewards and also to alert them to missing a damaged items. They would assure me refunds would be coming but they never materialized. Additionally, when I called and spoke to a number of agents on the phone they would assure me they would handle the problems but nothing was ever resolved. It seems all concerns, questions and complaints fall into a black hole! Ive just cancelled my account and received an account suspended but it remains to be seen if it actually happens since I have absolutely no confidence in this company. I have been with Green Chef for a while. I find them to have the same meals over and over again. Even though you fill out the reviews thinking that will change what you receive it does not. I just hung up with customer service and he did not hide the fact that my call, nor my response online will not issue any changes to the automatic choices of meals sent to me. The representative of Green ********* that they do not care about me personally as it is all computer generated and he cannot change that decision. Wow, that was quite the shock. Once a subscription is active, orders are automatically processed on a weekly basis for delivery the following week. Customers are given a ***** window to make their meal selections or to skip the order. In the event that no selections are made, the system will choose meals based on preferences, and changes cannot be accommodated after the specified cut-off time.
