  I own a private investigation company and I found myself in a dilemma when my hard drive crashed on an older **** video camera. I had two extensive assignments accounting for several hours of video on the hard drive. 300 DR offered a service that was far less expensive than others online.   $300 Data Recovery was so transparent with their pricing that I didn't even need to talk to a salesperson (unlike Salvage, PITS, Secure, etc.), the final price came out to exactly what they quoted, did a complex head swap for free, corresponded directly and honestly with me, and got back all of my files.   As I was on my Laptop, my screen went black, and I turn the laptop off then turn it on, the screen still was black. I took it to two repair companies and Informed them that I wanted to get the laptop back where I can access my file. One of the companies viewed the laptop and inform me that they will have to ship it out for further investigation and I declined. I took it to the second company after their investigation I was told my hard drive was dead and all my files were gone. Once I was told all my files were gone I knew I needed to go with a data recovery company. I was aware of $300 Data Recovery.I used their services and the pass and at that time all my files were recovered, and my laptop turned on from a black screen once I got the laptop back. Their services also brought my laptop back work normally. Going with $300 Data Recovery this time I felt confident my data will be recovered. I filled out the easy form on their website then drop my hard drive and external drive off at their location. Within minutes I received replies from their company. I was giving fast updates throughout the process. I received an email that my sectors was 100% recovered on the second day after dropping the hard drive off.I was sent a File Listing report to confirm my files. After confirming all my files were recovered I picked up my devices. After going through the external hard drive for hours, all my files worked and were recovered.   I am so happy that I was recommended $300 data recovery by another technician. I thought I would have to pay another company almost $2000 for a clean room recovery. You ship your item, they inspect your item, they inform you what is found on your item, you pay the flat rate plus any applicable taxes, and in my case, a new drive from them and then they ship your item back. It took less than two weeks, probably would have been faster but I was on vacation for one week. I definitely recommend them and would definitely use them again. They have great staff that answer emails quickly.

  I had a hybrid drive that would not spin. I really didn't think it could be saved. I looked at many reviews from different sources for $300 Data Recovery. I got the feeling they were real, not fake as the reviews are on Amazon. I certainly did not want to put out ~$1000, and maybe get nothing in return. $300, I could deal with. If I lost it, oh well. I took the chance. I know dealing with the general public can be pretty tough at times. They are demanding, and they have no idea the complexity of taking a drive apart, and no less putting it back together. Communication is not one of their shortcomings. The company kept me informed every step of the way. In the end, the cost was $320 shipped. They recovered ******% of the files on my 500GB drive and copied them to a SSD that I had sent them. That was more than I ever expected. The few negative reviews I saw were mostly due people asking too much. When they couldn't get their data back, they blamed the company. They should have known going in that all drives can't be recovered. I hope I never get in the situation again that would I need their services, but I have complete trust in them. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

  Outstanding experience from beginning to end. The moment I sent them my hard drive, they updated me regularly via email on their progress. Their level of professionalism is outstanding and truly above and beyond. The way they do business is incredibly transparent and honest. They understand exactly what it feels like to be a customer - especially for the computer illiterate like myself - and take the care to develop a timely relationship and rapport with each customer. I received emails from everyone in their company - ******* ****** ***, and even the owner ***** himself! My hard drive was in a bad state (and almost 8 years old!). I was so happy they were able to recover the vast majority of my files (I was shocked they were able to recover any at all given the age of the drive and damage).   Our external hard drive stopped functioning so we called around locally, Midwest, but no one could fix it as we were told it needed a clean room. One option we found was in *******, sent it to them and they came back with a $1,500 quote. Much too high! We had them ship it back to us. We then found $300 Data Recovery and was instantly put at ease. Their communications and process working with non locals was extraordinary! Once we contacted them, the line of communication was open and just something you really dont see these days. We followed their instructions for sending our hard drive in and as soon as they received it they let us know. Within a couple days we had a diagnosis and quote to fix it. This hard drive had about 15 years of our photos on it that are irreplaceable, pre ICloud so we were very anxious about the recovery. They were able to recover everything!!!
