I bought a 2025 Kia **** from the Stockton dealership in January,22 I can add that to the review. I felt completely lied to and taken advantage of by the *** dealership in Stockton. They promised one price for the car, but when I got the contract, it was way higher. I ended up with a car loan I can't afford. When I tried to take the car back, the manager refused, and the finance company wouldn't help either. The whole experience has been terrible. but the whole experience was terrible. The sales guy rushed me into signing the contract without explaining everything, and when I got home I realized they'd added a bunch of extra fees that weren't discussed. The monthly payments ended up being way higher than what we agreed on. I feel completely cheated.

On Saturday, December 28, 2024, I made an appt. with ********* at the Kia of Stockton to test drive a hybrid car that I was interested in for 26k with min. down payment 2k (used) I did not want to exceed $400 monthly payments nor did I want long term agreement, cause I am 61yr on ****. when I came for my appt. ********* stated she was busy, I was introduce to *******, sales **** The Kia of Stockton were noticeably touchy, feely, with their customer experience (ie hugs, hand rubbing), I thought they were trying to provide good customer experience. However, my complaint has to do with when it came to the Lack of financing ******************* also, the signing of the contract documents by ************** in finance. I ended putting 5k down because I was under their strong betrayal of kind pressure, impression that it would keep my payment Below $400 and about 60 months agreed contract terms. but because I had 1k on my debt card, it was agreed I could come back within few days of me transferring the 4k balance from my savings to my debt card. and Once the 1k was done, I went into the financing room where I was told I had brought the car and I could NOT change my mind at this point. However, I thought I've had at least 24 hrs with a small fee for this option, so I believed them it was a lie. The finance *** had me sign 4 papers stating I own the 2023 Kia ******* with about 38k miles. BUT the documents I sign DID NOT have any numbers, dollars at all...I thought it was odd, but I trusted the dealership after all they were overly friendly seem professional. On Dec 31st, I had the remaining 4k so I went pick up what I thought was my 26k car. When I got there they were locating the keys for the car and handed me a USB drive with the contract...I thought that was stranged, I did not get a hard copy to review what I bought and how much I would be paying. Do to a friend passing I was delayed days before actually looked at what I blindly signed, 84months & 42k total ;-(

I purchased a *** ******** from Stockton *** on July 4, 2024. The agreed cash purchase price was $36,055 for a specific car listed on the Stockton *** website. I confirmed this price with their sales contacts through both voice calls and written text messages. I have copies of the text messages for the agreed price. They also confirmed the agreed price when I went to the dealership for purchasing the car. However, the contract for this purchase was written at a higher price, including additional finance charges. When I asked the finance manager about this, he assured me that I would not pay the finance charges and that I would only be charged the agreed cash price plus tax and license. I was asked to sign the contract on a small tablet that was difficult to read, and I was asked to pay $41,344.23. I paid for this total, but I didn't understand this total's breakdown and assumed that the increase is from tax and license fees. After reviewing the contract with my accountant, I learned that the price charged was increased in the purchase contract. I attempted to get feedback from the dealership by sending multiple emails, but I never received any response. I sent the emails to: ***************************, General Manager at Kia of Stockton (email: ************************************ and *******************************, Finance Manager at Kia of Stockton (email: *************************************** and other sales contacts. Could you please help me with getting a respinse from Kia of Stockton, and please guide me on how to handle this kind of conduct from a dealership and get a response to my claim?Best regards,*******************

I purchased a 2017 ****** Sentra on February 8, 2024 two days after purchasing the vehicle. The transmission showed signs of having problems since then Ive had the transmission replaced fortunately under warranty but Ive had to pay for new brakes, shocks and struts alignment and I was Informed there were other issues. I did purchase the vehicle as is, but I assumed when you purchase a vehicle from a dealership that represents a major brand, the vehicles thoroughly inspected the salesman, even assured me that their vehicles go through a rigorous inspection before they are put on the lot. I went back to ask them to reimburse me for some of these repairs and they were no help quite quite rude. Actually I placed a review on yelp and got a message from another customer telling me that less than 30 days after purchasing their vehicle is having trouble. This dealership is taking advantage of customers, and they are of no help when there is a problem. Thank you.

Long story short I have been driving a car that was unsafe since 2022. They kept telling me it is normal or telling me it was something and I would pay to fix it and that wouldnt be the issue. After almost two years of almost being in multiple accidents they look at it (when I make them ride with me) and feel what I am feeling. They still charged me a ****** diagnostic fee and told me it was my tires. I have been dealing with Kia ******** affairs and honestly have gotten nowhere. It is like they dont care I can die or kill somebody. And on top of it want to charge me to pay for techs and treat me rudely. ***** is the one that has dismissed me the most and hasnt even documented the time I brought it in after they worked on it. Told him I almost hit someone and he said it was normal didnt have the techs look at it or anything!

On 08/05/2023 buying a vehicle for my wife. I asked salesman the price and he quoted me $38,000.00 I said ok to that price. He told me that *** wouldn't finance me stating my Fico score was only 649 and I said that was impossible I had recently checked and it was around 700. He said he would check with others that they finance with and after some issues he got my payment where I wanted even though I was ****** about my credit score affecting my loan rate I prommised the wife I would but her a new car. Everything was done on a Ipad and he basically scrolled to each point needing my e-signature I should have told them either to slow down or put it on paper but I didn't think they were going to change the price from what I was quoted but they did. I only realized this when I mad the October payment (wife made the first payment in September) and I saw the amount financed was high so I pluged in the flash drive that contained my documents and saw that I was charged $43,140.00 so I went by the dealer and asked the salesman about what he quoted me and he handed me off to the sales maneger. I asked him why I was quoted $38,000.00 but he charged me $43,140.00 and he tells me the $43,140.00 was the market rate and they were not going to do anything about it and laughed at me when I told him that I would deal with it. My vehicle was financed by *** after they said they wouldn't and when I pulled up my credit score it had taken a ***************** my opinion they did this intentionally to force me to pay a higher interest rate to the company and I say this because normally the dealer will pull credit report and forward it to the different finance companies but they did not each pulled their own a total of at least 6 requests. I am looking to get back the difference quoted to me and the difference in sales tax and the difference of a better loan rate.

I purchased 2021 sportage with Zurich shield warranty that covers paint oxidation on 5/31/23. On 6/14 I filed a claim for oxidation on roof spoiler, my claim was denied due to no taking care of problem sooner, then I was advised to contact dealership when I told them I only had the car almost 2months. Also, when I received my car fax 2wks after purchase it said my brake inspection and tire rotation were ****** miles/10 months overdue so I called *** they said the service was done and my brakes are 8 all around. I took a closer look at the tires and clearly the tires with more tread are on the back so I went into ******************************* manager talking me in circles he told me they would take a look but it would b at my expense so I went to salesman who sold me the car. He agreed with me about the tire tread since thats clearly visible and wrote a service request for tire rotation and brake inspection said if the brakes were a 4 or less they would b replaced. I doubted what service **** said so I asked my family owned auto shop to take a look before my appt on 7/17/23. ******************* reported: the tires can be rotated, the brakes are between 4-5 all around and brake fluid is below appropriate level. On 7/I7 I brought my car in for said overdue service and waited 2hoursmy request was tire rotation so I can get full life of tires, brake inspection, air my tires to equal amount in each and the panel under steering wheel wasnt popped in place so I asked them to do that too. When I approached my car I see the tires were not rotated, so I got inside and see the panel was still the same and I started my car to see not even the air was filled and they reported the brakes were now a 6 all aroundso 2mm less in a month and a half/approximately ***** freeway milesnot likely! I went back inside to ask why nothing was done they said they did inspect brakes which means they took off the tires but didnt rotate them! I told them I had another certified mechanic take a look and his results were not the same, he advised me to get a third opinion since often people get ripped off. So I took the day off without pay to get service but nothing was done and I purchased a paint warranty for my claim to be denied ****** car and I regret getting it from them and now I cant even get a return call.

I bought my Kia **** from Kia of Stockton in November 2022. There was some overall interior problems when I bought the car, that the salesman *** told me it was the detailer doing a poor job - still plastic pieces all over the car, sticky residue on the door handle, suction cup marks on the window. He tells me that he can give me a free detailing to fix all those issues and it'll include the whole package, vacuuming and shampooing the seats and mats, etc. just let him know when I'm coming in and he will deal with it. I live in Concord. Driving to Stockton is over an hour. I waited for my ***** mile maintenance to come and I scheduled the detailing and the service work together. I get there May 8th and waited for over 3 hours. I arrived at 3:00 pm and didn't leave until after 6. Service takes about 1.5 hours **** ******, the service department secretary, came out around 4:30 and told me that the service was done, just waiting on the detailing. I would expect the detailing, especially since it took just as long as the maintenance work, to be pristine. The entire trunk area wasn't even touched. Where the sticky residue was is now a scratch! The cup holder, the middle console, the door handle compartments, all still have ****** and were not done. I even lifted up the floor mats the there was no vacuuming done to the floor. I've called 5 times in the last, and no one has bothered to call me back. I've spoken to two different people at the front desk, and the sales manager, ********. He did not have the decency to call me back yesterday, nor this morning, and I had to reach out to the business twice today to get anyone to answer. I explained my situation yesterday, and he said "Well what do you want me to do about it?" Since I paid over $400 for maintenance, I asked for a partial refund for my horrible detailing and the scratch that I have to fix inside my car would be a great place to start. He responds, "No, we're not going to pay you for a bad job washing your car".

I drove my car into a deep puddle that caused my engine to stop. I was advised by ********* that I needed to take the car to the dealership. I was quoted a diagnostic fee of $180. I made an appointment to diagnose the car and brought it in. It took all morning then they told me there were two fees because of my description of the problems with the car. I was never warned that the fees might double. I never agreed to the double price, but now they have my car hostage unless I pay it. I do not want to pay a price I never agreed to. I think it is unacceptable business practice to double a price in this way with no warning.

On 09/20/2022 we, *************************** and ***************************************, purchased a 2023 Kia ** GT GT1 package from Kia of Stockton. We picked it up at 7:55pm and left at 8:20pm. At 10:30pm, exiting the car after arriving home, I noticed a decent little gash in the right, rear door's under-window weatherstripping. It is right on the rear side of the **pillar right before the hinge on the rear door. It appears to have happened during the delivery inspection when an employee would be removing the plastic sheeting wrapped around the greenhouse of the car. It appears to be caused by an employee using a box-cutter to remove said plastic wrapping. I contacted the dealership the next morning. It took them 4 hours to respond with nothing of value. I then waited a whole day for another response blaming me for the gash in the window. They stated that it appears someone tried to break into my car. There is not a thief on this planet that is so sorely lacking intelligence that they would try to break into a car using the rear door's B pillar. The dealership, as a whole, refuses to look at my car and refuses to answer or return my calls, texts, and emails. It is 10/13/2022 and for the past month *********************, the general manager, has supposedly been on "vacation". I find this lack of values and principles to be completely unacceptable of a company doing business in America.
