Via Cuddly I donate a reoccurring monthly amount to my local animal rescue. 100% of my donation goes straight to my animal rescue. I trust Cuddly and Highly Recommend this ******************** Unlike the ********************** Best Friends etc. whom focuses on a much much larger scale of rescue, cruelty and legislation worldwide. Cuddly focusses on supporting small and big non profit animal rescues who are struggling to provide for the animals in their care. Thank You Cuddly for raising awareness to the horrific abuse animals face today and the animal rescues who rescue and care for the victims. I feel good about all donations I have made through this site. They generally provide very good, regular updates on the animal's progress. There have been a couple animals I've provided donations for where there were no updates provided even though the donation was made many months ago. I understand cuddly relies on the rescue itself to provide updates through them, but I wish they'd follow up with the rescues to provide updates when none have been received. I would love an update on *****, a cat that was in either ****** or *******, I cannot remember which. I have even reached out to cuddly for an update and have not heard anything.Review fromLaurie O

I am getting very concerned with this business. I have spent over $3000 on donations with this company over the last three months. I am attempting to provide items for a rescue organization I support.I now have a question about some items and I have way to get a hold of them. I tried calling their 800 number and their regular number listed on their support page. I am really worried I got scammed and need to contact my credit card company.I really wish I had a way to get a hold of these people! When I call their phone numbers I get three beeps and it hangs up.I tried to use online chat and it says no one is available they will get back with me. How do they get back with me when they don't have my email or phone number.Help!

Scam. They even say right on their header page that they are a 'for profit' corporation. They also claim that all the donations go directly to the organzation caring for a certain animal, then a disclaimer pops up on that animal's page stating that the donations are being channeled to a 'trusted rescue partner' in order to "help all animals." Then they sell grossly over-priced retail items (sometimes costing 10 times what you can buy them for elsewhere)and claim to be sending them to the rescue. Finally, they use thought-provoking,sensitive footage of *************** to elicit donations, when clearly by looking at the photos one can surmise that they animals are in a completely different country. One of CUDDLYs main pillars of philosophy is transparency. Our teams work hard to ensure all the animal welfare organizations we work with are verified, vetted, and in good standing. CUDDLY currently supports around ***** animal rescues, shelters, and municipal organizations. Only verified animal welfare groups are allowed to use our platform to raise funds and ask for donations to animals in their care. We enforce this by implementing our vigorous vetting process that involves proof of tax-exempt status and IRS determination, multiple references, vet bills in order to perform vet checks, as well as outreach done by our internal team of Fundraising Consultants.However, it is not uncommon practice for rescuers to help other rescues, as long as the donors are made aware when that occurs, which is why a disclaimer was made on Vespers campaign.Because the issues of animal neglect and abuse are not limited to just *****************, we do support a handful of international animal groups as well. All fundraisers on our site will list the name of the animal organization as well as their location so it is clear who and where the animal is currently in the care of.We have many organizations that work to bring animals from other countries to the US for care. So, you will find rescues with animals in other countries on our site, but all of them have gone through the vetting process above and are asked to update donors just the same.CUDDLYS goal is to ensure the partners we support have the tools and resources needed in order to help them save more animals. As such, our partners are able to make fundraisers on our platform in order to raise monetary and product donations for the animals in their care. All pet supplies that are donated from generous donors are sent directly to the animal welfare organization. The wishlist item price includes the cost of shipping, handling fees, and sales tax. In addition, since the items have been donated to non-profit organizations, all donations and wishlist items are tax deductible. A tax receipt is provided after every donation is made.We make it clear that CUDDLY is a for-profit company. This allows us to offer many additional opportunities to our partners such as being able to fundraise for transport vehicles, paid television advertising, and promotional spots on social media.
