    I'm not paying those bogus fees they apply when ordering their service - Poor business practice in my opinion and after reading other reviews in this blog, they have no chance in getting my business.

    I needed help with a one time situation to install a doorbell camera. They showed up and were unable to help me. Now Im stuck paying ***** + tax for 12 months for a service I dont need and wont use. I know how to use tech and dont need a password manager system when my Mac and iPhone do a perfect job for free. I just needed a one time assistance that will cost me 12 months and it wasnt even resolved! It was marked as unserviceable.

    The WORST in EVERY way. Starting with the 3 incorrect *********** confirmation that we had just verbally agreed on???!!! So bizarre, this then I realize that the name of the company is way to similar to Hello *********** pretty sure after dealing with two very inept Hello Tech employees today (one receptionist & one in-home technician appt).At one point after the technician said my order is written up different than what I am telling him (which was the same as I had told reception)?!?! No clear nor correct communication within the company. My tech was shocked when I said, I hate your company. It is the worst company Ive ever dealt with. I dont want to do this job with you. The tech had been showing & telling me what ************** would need to be moved in order for me to relocate my tv) He told me ridiculously half-baked plans that left out key factors!! And then he would try to reassure me. And from there tell me a different way he could do the cords but it would never make sense nor have a set by step plan that would be followed). So weird. My only hunch is that these employees think they are working fir HelloFresh. They clearly know nothing about basic tech. Just awful

    DON'T SIGN UP WITH HelloTech. HelloTech is a minimal service with an impossible cancellation policy. I thought I signed on for monthly---apparently, they say I signed up for an annual membership. I am disputing these charges with my bank since they won't cancel. This is precisely why the *** is proposing a rule that will make it as easy to cancel a subscription as it is to sign up for one through the "click to cancel" button. Companies that use forced continuity as a business plan will fail. These clever sign-*** alienate clients. From the "*** website: Some businesses too often trick consumers into paying for subscriptions they no longer want or didnt sign up for in the first place, said *** Chair ********************. The proposed rule would require that companies make it as easy to cancel a subscription as it is to sign up for one. The proposal would save consumers time and money, and businesses that continued to use subscription tricks and traps would be subject to stiff penalties.

After reviewing your account, we see that the original order was self-booked and the membership was self-initiated back in February 2023, where you saved $90 in membership discounts. After receiving the discounts, you reached out to cancel the membership, which is against the policy, as you saved money utilizing membership perks. 

    Perhaps you were not intentionally trying to take advantage of the system for your benefit, but unfortunately, it does happen. The membership is designed to provide benefits to long-term customers, which is why it is for a year. Think about it as a loyalty program where we get to build lasting relationships with our customers, and they stand to get better pricing than most of our competitors. In this case, Im sure you would agree it is a win-win. 

    When customers no longer find the membership useful, they are no longer obligated to fulfill the year contract. However, they are responsible for paying back all of the money received in discounts. At the time of your request, our development team was building an internal feature where we could charge the difference instead of waiting for the membership charges to recoup the money saved in membership discounts, which has since been completed.

    HelloTech IS A SCAM!! For starters they "hire" untrained, inexperienced and unreliable people who have less knowledge than the average 9-year old, and who rarely show up for the SCHEDUED APPOINTMENTS! These crooks CONTINUE to bill me NUMEROUS TIMES EACH month for services I STOPPED after I stupidly hired them TWO YEARS AGO but only booked their services THREE times after countless NO-SHOWS! I became acutely aware that HelloTech had NO intention of fulfilling their legal obligations after re-booking NUMEROUS dates for me which they arbitrarily CANCELLED BUT CHARGED ME for nonetheless! Even MORE EXTRAORDINARY, these thieves CONTINUE to ERRONEUSLY BILL me MULTIPLE MONTHLY CHARGES FOR services not REQUESTED OR RECEIVED! AFTER COUNTLESS EMAILS & CALLS to their "FAKE" Headquarters to STOP THE INITIAL CONTRACT and INSISTING they cease and desist this unlawful activity,! BUT- they still persist in billing me which I continue to dispute! Tomorrow I will call the ************************ in CA to see IF THEY can stop their illegal practices!

We also see that several technicians completed orders and were on site for several hours. Regarding the membership, you were refunded $29.99. This makes up the difference between $149.99 you paid in membership fees and the $120 you saved in membership discounts.

    I called Hello Tech to come out to fix my computer. The tech was on route when, I text him to cancel. I even try to call ***** number with no response. The tech show up outside of my residence did not come in at all. He pulled out a look like a phone device and told me to sign. I ask why, he stated because I came. This all happen outside of my residence. I call the ***** number to report that tech never came in my home and wanted a refund. ******* stated the tech told them he fix a monitor - THAT IS A LIED!! - Also I did not ask to be a member of this company which was included with the cost and did not allow me to decline the membership. They have taken ***** plus ***** for doing ABSOUTLEY NOTHING. NEVER CAME INTO MY RESIDENCE AT ALL. I want my money back.

Now, while the technician did not complete the service, our cancellation policy states that if you cancel within 3 hours of the service, you are responsible for the service in full. However, the order was refunded, and the membership was canceled.

    Wish I could give zero. Paid a lot of money to have some Ethernet hardwiring done. No one showed up at the time I picked.No one called to say they werent coming, no explanation. Got a text 20 min AFTER appt time that no one was coming. Asked for next available time. No response, no rescheduled time offered yet and its been 24 hrs.Highly recommend you dont spend your money here or waste your time.

    God awful service. Had tv installed above fireplace. There was a 2x4 in the middle and 2 sides. This sicko never used studs. My tv fell and broke, It almost killed my pet, and ruined my wall. Im suing them if they dont refund me for my expenses and stress this has caused.

    Hello tech lag on me for 3 tries there not good at all don't even buy ******* cameras it's all a scam. I got three my ring doorbell is out hello tech is supposed to come out to see what's wrong. Then they blame on ******* it's a big scam don't buy there cameras at all. Hello tech bad service. It's a scam also they want. You to cancel to take your money if you cancel.

While we would like to get to every order sometimes we are unable to as some areas are more difficult than others to find a technician. When this happens the customer is not charged for the service as there were no services rendered.
